I had heard great things from friends who attended the in-person Yelp event at Oui, so I was very excited to try it for myself. I had a bit of trouble with the reservation, as I had made one and received confirmation but later was told that I did not have one in that same email chain, so I had to make one again. It was quite a trek for me to get there, but when I did I was impressed by the vibes immediately upon walking inside. The reflective windows and blue lighting made it feel like I had been transported somewhere magical. We stood there by the door for about 15 minutes before a hostess finally came up and asked if we had a reservation. We told them our reservation, but they weren't able to find it in the system, so I guess it got lost a second time, but luckily they were able to seat us right away. When ordering, I tried to clarify that we were there for the Yelp elite promotion, but I guess there was a misunderstanding, as I tried to ask which dishes were included under the term small plates and if the jerk lamb chops was one of them and the answer I received was yes, but I guess they must have thought I was asking a different question. I didn't mind supporting the business by buying something extra, but I was just caught off-guard when the bill came and they told us they didn't realize we were yelp elite and that the dish in question was not included and told us to order another small plate at the end, which we ended up just ordering to-go. Also, at the start of the meal, we tried ordering a hookah, but we were never brought one, and whenever we asked they told us it was still on the way, but eventually we cancelled it after we had finished eating. We saw other tables who had received a hookah at the same time they had their food, so this was quite disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed the food here, but the drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste, albeit good nonetheless. The most upsetting thing was how many times they messed up something between making the reservation, finding the reservation, etc.

Oui Cocktail Lounge has a nice and shiny interior, and the offerings live up to the vernier! Food The food, as with lounges, tend to be more on the finger food side but are flavorful and very well done. We had the Corn Ribs, which is a creative way of eating corn, the Lamb Chops, the Oxtail empanada and the five spice wings. The wings were really good - Oui takes the extra effort to draw out the moisture of the skin for an extra crispy texture, and I appreciate it! Drinks I had the Hibiscus Kiss. The drink was very large and tasted great. You also get a big ol slice of grapefruit which was fun. They also offer hookah and I'd be interested in trying that sometime.

Had reservations for Friday at 6pm, arrived and was greeted immediately, BUT they couldn't find a reservation for me. Apparently another Michelle T. arrived earlier in the week and was given my reservation as she didn't have one (ugh) . Luckily, the manager (Dana) was there and remembered my email address from the mixup during her visit and took care of us. She apologized and has since emailed her personal reservation link for all future visits. This was my 2nd time here. First time was late night and I only had drinks, hookah, and wings. Both times, I've had a really good experience and service. Britney J was our server this time and she was great. The ambiance here is super cute! They always have really good vibes and a good mix of music going but the music can be pretty loud. They have cute photo ops and decor, namely the swing in the back. Items ordered: Oxtail empanadas (5/5) Five spice wings (4/5) Crispy calamari (5/5 Mojito shrimp (grilled) (5/5) Oui salad (5/5) Honey buffalo wings (5/5) Spice it up cocktail (4/5) Wild passion (5/5) Hookah (5/5) The oxtail empanadas were bomb! We were pleasantly surprised to bite into it and find butter beans (and even a lil piece of bone; let's u know they use the real deal!). Crispy calamari was fried to perfection, not too dry and not chewy and came out hot and fresh. Honey buffalo wings are top tier! The five spiced wings were ok (taste like old bay wings). The mojito grilled shrimp were really good. My only suggestion would be to add some more dipping sauce options (like aioli for calamari, ranch/blue cheese for wings). I'm a sauce gal! Lol The signature cocktails ordered this visit were pretty good but the mango and passion fruit margaritas I ordered before were wayy better. Their hookah is REALLY good! Nice smooth flavor, big smoke, comes on a light up platform, and doesn't burn out easy and become harsh. They have HH deals and auto gratuity, which I did not realize until right NOW! Lol oh well, Britney deserved all the tip we gave. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone and will definitely be back!

I made a reservation to come to this spot after seeing the new release of the Black Panther movie. The pictures on Yelp def was also the main driver here and it was close by the theater. On the outside the windows were kind of covered l so you really couldn't see the vibe going on inside, just glimpses of bright lights. When we entered, it felt like we just walked into a retro episode of Miami Vice...which can be deemed bad decor or good lol. Think white leather seats and tufted blue leather booths. We were greeted by our waiter Gio, super dope vibe and a memorable smile. He def went above and beyond to make sure that everyone he serviced was taken care of including us! Food was banging, my wife has this mezcal drink and shrimp, I had the wangs! Def will return for brunch...Ooooweee

This a great local dinner spot. Everything is delicious, especially the drinks and small plates. I will absolutely be back. The Food: The food was well seasoned and had balanced flavors. The oxtail meat in the oxtail empanadas was a little fatty. The pineapple jerk wings were not too spicy with a great balance of "sweet and heat". The seasoned fries were good. The Drinks: The cloud nine gave my friend a headache. The spice it up was delicious. Hibiscus kiss needed more liquor but it was refreshing. The bar was clean and pumping out drinks efficiently. The Service: The service was great. The staff was fast, attentive, and very informative. They were helpful and patient when half of my party came late. The food came out quickly and they brought all the extra sauces we asked for. The Atmosphere: The blue lights make it hard to see and take pictures. The decor is very Instagrammable but you will need a flash or a flashlight so your picture is visible. All my pictures look blue.

Oui has amazing vibes ! The music is fire !! Staff super friendly and informative. Come help right away. They are a cocktail lounge with apps. I tried the cloud nine specialty cocktail, it was very tasty. West Indian apps served. Oxtail empanadas and pineapple jerk chicken wings are a must have. Calamari and truffle fries were on point also. Will def be coming back with a crew for some hookah and good vibes!

First time dining in this location for a night out. I came here previously for an event and was impressed. That's what led me coming here on my own this time. My friend and I were looking for a local spot for drinks and food. Just want you to be aware THEY DO NOT SERVE ENTREES everything on their menu are appetizers or rather small plates. There are no dinner items or platters. I believe the lounge part is confusing because usually you can get food and drinks at this type of establishment. That's why I have a 3-star rating. There menu consists of a total of 10-12 items drinks being half and the other small plates. Service is great. Prices are a bit more than expected especially since they don't have full entrees to compare. The drinks are exceptional and I have to say the Hibiscus kiss is my favorite. I probably wouldn't consider this place for a dine in option but just a quick place for drinks be they're worth it in that regard. I do support black business and women owned business so I would recommend this vibe if that's what you're looking for.

THEY'RE THIEVES! 1. I went here on a "ladies free before 11" got to the door and had to pay $20 because I hadn't RSVP'd which wasn't on the flyer. 2. They only take card and don't tell you that an 18% gratuity is already included in the price. I assume it's triggered by the entry of guests. You'll see she put 4 guests even though I was a singular person at the bar. The bartender handles the POS so, you don't see that until you get your receipt IF you get one. I even asked about tip and you'll see she lets me enter a tip knowing one is already included. 3. I must have forgotten my credit card at the bar. At 330AM (shortly after they closed) someone tried to buy DJ equipment totaling $6,854. I'm currently pursuing legal action. 4. You have to order everything through the bartender (drinks, food, hookah). I had wings missing and she said she didn't ring me up for two wings and I would have to order another set. LUCKILY, I had my receipt texted to me showing I did in fact order two platters or they would have recharged me for their mistake. JUST STAY HOME.

Honestly if I could give one star I would. This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I've never left an establishment feeling so disrespected before in my adult life. While I did not try their food or drinks, I was there for an event they were hosting. The overall experience and service was enough to make me never visit this business again. I was there for the LP Cocktail Experience. If you don't know, LP is the Season 1 Winner of Netflix's Drink Masters. I was excited to taste her drinks and meet her, especially since the event was being held at a Black Owned Restaurant. This was a ticketed event that included a complimentary LP crafted cocktail. Tickets started at $25/per person and were tiered based on where you wanted to sit. We paid for the bar seats which were $40/per person. We arrived on time for our 5pm seating and the restaurant wasn't ready. We waited a few minutes and then they started checking people in and escorting them to their seats. We were sat at a table near the bar, which is not the bar seating we were expecting. In fact, all the bar seats were removed. I was under the impression I'd be at the bar to be able to see LP make drinks. I decided to not say anything about the seating. Maybe all the seats were removed so everyone could see LP, but if that's the case why offer tiered tickets? There was never a formal introduction of LP. If you didn't watch the show and know what she looked like you honestly would have missed her. Later in the evening she left the bar and made rounds on her own, but I was thinking the restaurant would introduce her, congratulate her or something along those lines at the start of the event. To make matters worse, when it was time to place our drink order we were informed that the complimentary cocktail was a Oui Cocktail and not a cocktail created by LP. If we wanted a crafted LP cocktail, it had to be purchased separately and they cost $16 each. This was upsetting, at that point I felt taken advantage of. Not only was I not sitting where I expected to sit, but now I had to pay extra to have a drink by the guest mixologist of a ticketed event? We vocalized our frustration and were given the response that they didn't think that's something they had to include on the flyer. The person taking our order was annoyed by our frustration and was not receptive to our feedback whatsoever. She made me feel like we were being unreasonable and were inconveniencing her with outlandish expectations instead of trying to hear us out and resolve a misunderstanding. She eventually said she'd give us an LP drink, took our order and then avoided us for the rest of the night. After doing a quick social media dive, it turns out the person we were talking to the whole time was the General Manager Dana which makes the situation 100% worse in my opinion. This is the reason why I will never frequent this business again. The lack of empathy and receptiveness to feedback in the moment was disheartening. I hope this written feedback will be received. I've included their social media posts about the event which clearly states that the complimentary drink was supposed to be crafted by LP and not a Oui Cocktail drink. While I'm happy we advocated for ourselves, I can't help but wonder how many folx were fooled into paying extra for something that was advertised as being included in the ticket. Maybe I would have been more forgiving if this error was coming from another staff member, but I personally interacted with the General Manager. Shame on this business for taking advantage of people with their bait and switch advertisement. I left feeling like the business was more concerned with making a profit then actually creating a great experience for guests to meet and celebrate LP.

I've been waiting since early summer to write this review, but Oui was still listed under the previous establishment. Oui was definitely a vibe. The music and decor are perfect. They mostly serve finger foods. I order the lamb chops, the corn ribs, both of which were really good. My friend ordered the plant based burger, but did not like it. But overall this is a good spot to stop by and meet up with friends for a quick bite and some drinks. We'll def be back.

This place was definitely overrated on IG. We were seated promptly but the menu is very brief. There is no fish options even it was a slider like what place doesn't there is wings but I didn't order. The sides are seasoned fries thats it... No Mac n cheese to say the least. We Ordered: The fried calamari in the pic was horrible burnt and shriveled to a horrible crisp. With what supposed to be a ginger garlic dipping sauce. Ah no it was SWEET CHILI SAUCE I have at home. I only ordered that and was turned off didn't order anything else. My guy ordered the jerk lamb chops " I forgot to take a pic " flavorful but a small order over arugula . The ambiance is nice even though the blue lights can be quite annoying and the DJ oh gosh.. For 1 NO this is not a date spot the music is way too loud to hold a conversation! And the DJ jumped from one soca song to then 50 cent like what are you doing?' And blasted everyone's eardrum not knowing how to mix properly. - * The best thing was the casamigos punch and the $50 Hookah which should've been $35 but Saturday night of course prices up. But a $142 bill for what we got was absurd honestly! We will not return sadly I was hoping it was good.

Very cute up and coming spot , the staff and hostess are amazing it's always a vybe. This was my second time coming so that alone speaks for itself , they have specials throughout the week as well as happy hour. The food menu is pretty minimal but still good , I think I've had almost everything on there and the drinks are super strong. Worth a visit.

It wasn't my favorite matcha, it was a pretty good deal in comparison to other cafes in the area. They have a coffee club where you pay $40 a month for free drinks (coffee or tea based), 10% of items like cocktails, food and wine. Plus you are able to use their wifi in their space which has a funky plush aesthetic. Definitely good for people who need a place to work. It is an interesting way of using this space in the morning.
