This is my second night here, and I arrived a little earlier at 7…read more It's slightly less noisy without the DJ. I still think this place should stick to sports or being a smoke venue for those wanting a chill place to shoot dice or whatever. The service was better, with the waitress being taller and more mature than the previous night. The food came out quicker and was less greasy and smelly. Overall, I think this place needs some consulting on how to appeal to more customers in and out of Flatlands/Canarsie. It is located right outside the station, after all.

The drinks are good; I had the blue lagoon, the Tokyo tea, and a rum punch. My bf had the jungle bird, which was also good. There's a happy hour from 5-7 and $1 wings all night. I ordered the garlic parmesean and the sweet teriyaki wings. The wings were overdone and fried too hard. The garlic parmasean needed to be tossed in more garlic mixed in butter for the taste. There was a live singer and we thought he was there every Thursday but it turns out he was there for the party; he was good and we enjoyed the vibe. Mondays and Fridays are karaoke, and Sundays is Jazz night, we were told by Lena. They played good music after the live singer left. I will definitely go back now that i have somewhere i can hang near by. And I look forward to Jazz night on Sunday.

We were a party of 2 and a table with 3 sat down and then 2 people at the bar. There was no reason that our chicken egg rolls and the rest of the food took forever to come out. The server even warned us that the food takes long . They need to get that part under control. The dj came and set up . Great play list a little bit of everything r&b, hip hop, reggae soca etc... but the volume was way to loud. The place was shaking and vibrating. We came during happy hour. The drinks were ok. Food temps were good but just lacked a bit of flavor, although I must say the curry goat was decent. The Decor is nice . Yet the place just feels unprepared not ready yet to service the public.

Rum punch- yuck Loaded fries- passable…read moreAtmosphere- not welcoming We walked in to only 2 other people there which was fine since we typically enjoy a spot that we can "take over". Sat at the bar watching the bartender deep in a conversation on the phone. Waited and waited and eventually was able to order our drinks. I got a rum punch and refused to take another sip. My friend took mine and I went with a passion fruit margarita which was ok. Idk what rum they put in the premade rum punch but please revise that. The fries were disappointing as well. Fries were extremely oily and just not great. I can't see myself returning

I knew it was not meant to be as soon as we walked in. We arrived at 6:45 PM and was told they would have to find us a table (there were several empty tables that were large enough to accommodate). We stood for 7 minutes before a gentleman came and sat us down. The table was bare, the only thing on the table was table cloth. It took approximately 25 minutes for someone to come and take our order. I didn't know that they had a live band and it was too loud for such a small place. The Menu had a fix price for $65 per person. The person who finally came to take orders sat at our table and cross of many items that were not available. It took another half an hour for someone to come place water at the table and gave us eating utensils. According to the menu, each of us would start our meal with a salad. The salad never came. We asked for a drink menu, we were told that they had nothing really to drink. We each order an appetizer from the menu, they brought us one plate with items on it. Mistakes were made in everything that we ordered to eat and others near us had the same issue. The original server that took all the food orders never came back to our table. The service was horrible. This was an embarrassing Mother's Day dinner. At the end, they presented me with a bill for $458. I will never return and I suggest that if any of you are considering going to this restaurant, don't bother. I would have been better off going to order food at Kal's Bakery & Restaurant and go home to eat. It would have cost me $17-$30 and would not have spent 3 hours being frustrated and embarrassed to have taken my mother, sister and other family members there.

One word to describe the experience here: SHAMEFUL…read more Unfortunately, 0 stars are not an option for reviews. DO NOT COME HERE!!! DO NOT BOOK ANY CATERING EVENTS HERE! The owner and manager knowingly triple booked the space and refused to do the right thing. A contract was signed two months ago for a high school graduation dinner for 50 people; two days before the event when the owner was aware there was conflict, he asked if my cousin could push back her event 'til 7pm. After speaking to the other two event coordinators, I was told that their events were only scheduled and booked by the owner Two weeks ago (both the baby shower and a health event). Again, the owner knew this was the case and did not make himself present or discuss the situation with my cousin or the health coordinator his mistake. The baby shower which was booked two weeks ago was scheduled from 2-8pm; and the health event was scheduled from 5-9. Upon the arrival of our family, we were flabbergasted by the fact that not only was the first event still taking place, but it was not scheduled to end until 8pm. Despite knowing all of this the owner still requested all parties to remit full payment though he knew he was already in breach of his contract with my cousin. Tonight, not only did he make himself unavailable or be present to diffuse the situation; he also had no managers on hand to troubleshoot the situation. Several calls to the owner went unanswered. He finally had a young staff member relay a message that he will call my cousin (several hours after this event was supposed to start) to "see what he can do". Over an hour later and he never responded. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Spare yourself the headache and frustration. Do not come here. Final time of space availability after set-up was 9pm - followed by the serving of tepid/borderline cold food.

I had Henny n coke but a lot of people we're ordering the rum punch which looked really yummy. They serve food. But it's a simple menu. Salad options. Wings that can be tossed in an array of sauces, french fries. Typical bar food. And they have some other entree selections. On weekends it's great for music and dancing. A great mix of soca, reggae, and a lot of the hits. When I went the age limit was 23 and older to get in. I went on a Sunday. They have a few TV's on the wall but they had it on MTV. A little weird. Watching 90s rock music videos without the sound. Lots of head banging, hair flips, and baggy pants. It was pretty empty yesterday. We ordered the wings with a mango sauce and fries. Fries were okay. Tasty. Nothing special. But the wing sauce was sweet with a little heat. I wasn't really a fan of it. I think I would've preferred buffalo or jerk, or just plain old fried but what got me was that the chicken was undercooked. I was biting into the drumstick and the chicken was kind of rubbery which is a no no. It definitely needed more time in the fryer. I don't mess with undercooked chicken. I'd definitely go back there again for the great music, dancing with friends and strong and moderately priced drinks.

I was scared and did not feel comfortable at all! Now, fast-forward. I've recently been back at the beginning of September for my friend's surprise bday party. I was literally in shock to how Tracks has cleaned itself up. It was a complete makeover. It actually reminded me of Fisheye, down the road. The new decor is of New Yorker Chic with ghetto fabulous twinged in it. I say ghetto, for the fact that there was something weird going on in the back near the bathrooms. It was like the ceiling dropped 5 feet so they could add an upstairs area. Nonetheless, I was impressed from what my first true experience was. Since this place is in the neighborhood, I can see it as my new home bar. Sometimes it just gets tiring going into the city to get a drink. I can just walk a few minutes and enjoy. PS there mac and cheese were on point. It was a bit on the salty side, but I was a happy camper, for $3, hell yes!
