Really fantastic company. Starting from getting quotes was the easiest process, bar none. Like most people, I was getting quotes from multiple companies for my interstate move from Boston to NYC. A quote from Lexel wasn't the cheapest but still was on more affordable side compared to many other quotes I've received. After messaging Ross on their website, I was able to have my quotes price matched to their competitors. From that point on, my fantastic experience with Lexel company began. Once I was able to confirm the price-matched quote, I was able to walk through my inventory once more with the representative. The process was overall seamless. I was given cash discount as well. After I started packing, I quickly realized that I had underestimated my list of inventories. When I messaged Ross, we were able to adjust the inventory with minimal price addition. I was amazed at the easy and painless process. I also loved how thorough the company was at making sure I felt supported during the interstate move process. They emailed me and called me to talk through the last minute logistics before the move begin. They were also able to accomodate the new building's COI requirements and documentations without any hesitation. On the day of the move, I was impressed with how the movers/driver called ahead to let me know the ETA an hour before their arrival. They also arrived on time and promptly started their work upon arrival. The movers were friendly and personable, while keeping things professional and respectful. They carefully wrapped my furnitures and carried them to the van. I felt good knowing my belongings are in good hands with Lexel movers! The move to the new place was seamless as well. They were communicative and kept us in the loop from move-out and move-in process. There was a little bit of miscommunication and misunderstanding on my part with the final bill, but after I reached out to Ross from Lexel, he was able to resolve the issue for me. All in all, I'm really pleased with my decision to go with Lexel for my interstate move. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for reliable, communicative, and professional moving company. read more

Lexel Moving - Movers Near Me - Waltham, Massachusetts

Overall, we had a great experience using Lexel because of the crew that was with us from pickup all the way to delivery from DC to Boston (Carlos and Jose). They were great guys, very accommodating and worked incredibly hard/quickly over the span of two days (during a crazy storm on the east coast) to make sure the move went smoothly. Would highly recommend requesting the two of them on your move. On a less positive note, I was disappointed in the communication from the company to let me know when the crew would be arriving in DC to begin the move. When we arrived in Boston, the moving company didn't reach out about who and when would be delivering the items. Luckily I was able to communicate directly with Carlos and the same crew was able do the dropoff as well. read more

We moved from 3- bedroom house to 2- bedroom one floor condo. Movers were preforming on high professional level beginning from confirmation, came on time, perfectly equipped, acting quickly but very efficiently. No loss or damage. Very polite and easy to communicate. Highly recommend this company! read more

I hired Lexel Moving based on the good reviews on Yelp. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. I was quoted about $475-$575 for 1 bedroom apartment, not including the $125 deposit. We were all good till every the final bill came of $1,300! This was almost 2.5x more than was I was quoted! The movers gave me some BS on "it took longer than expected". I gave Lexel all the items that needed to be moved. I paid $1,300 for less than a 10-mile move! I paid only $900 moving from NJ to Boston a little over a year ago. I kindly messaged Lexel on this issue that I wasn't happy about but was told that they will need to wait for the paperwork from the driver. Yet to hear back. I guess this will get their attention. read more

On time, friendly, no issues, appropriate cost, on time. Easy to communicate with. This was a move from Florida to Massachusetts.

Moving is always stressful, but working with Lexel you can be assured they will deliver on their promise of a on time and careful move. Somehow Lexel has become our family mover. They have completed 3 moved for me, 2 for my son and his fiancee ,one for my sister and one for my niece. In all those moves we only had one crushed lamp shade Ross is knowledgeable and available to make sure things are on schedule. The guys have ways been hard working and professional. I think their estimates are fair and competitive with other companies. Also they are pretty flexible with extra drop offs or pick up. I only hope we have fewer moves in the future but will always use Lexel. Casey read more

Great service by Lexel Moving. Stress free move from state to state. Arrived on time. Highly recommend If you are moving and want a stress free move. Price is very reasonable. If I could give 10 stars I would. read more

The team arrived on time and started working immediately after browsing the stuff to pack. They were simply one of the best I ever met for moving. I had a lot of stuff even for two long containers to haul across the country and worried if they would not fit. Man o man, they packed the stuff so tightly that there was not even a hole for a finger! It was just like art. Their rate was lower than other established names as well. I would choose them again if I have to move and recommend Lexel for moving. read more

The moving company and movers can be summarized in three words: inexperienced, unprepared, and unprofessional. The move was from Taunton, MA to a self-storage unit in Cincinnati, OH. Having worked with moving companies in the past, I am familiar with what experienced work looks like and these movers lacked organization, quality and speed. There was no strategy for how things were moved or unpacked and I found myself having to play that role. Also, the movers seemed to have little knowledge about how to stack furniture or lay mirrors. Finally, there was no sense of urgency - despite the movers trying to cut corners and save time (by not wanting to unpack things) they moved slowly. In terms of being prepared - the movers brought with them a single end dolly. Had there not been dollies in the storage facility - it is likely we could have been there hours while they moved everything by hand. Last but not least the movers were unprofessional and I will illustrate this with three examples 1) They asked my father and I to start unpacking - had we not unpacked and moved items we would have likely had to add an hour to our time there. This is not so bad except that while we did this one of the movers spent all of his time folding and stacking blankets. 2) The movers resisted our ask to unpack the mirrors and furniture multiple times - it wasn't until I provided your direct orders via text that they said that they would unpack them 3) They left a piece of furniture in the storage unit that was not mine. I personally would not feel comfortable using this moving company even if I was there to fully supervise. All the furniture arrived in 1 piece; nothing broke in the moving & unpacking process. read more

Really good movers and handled a complicated move (multiple stops) very well. Called me the day before to confirm when they were arriving and offered a reasonable flat rate price. We had some minor damage to a couple of items, but they were very apologetic and promptly paid for a replacement. Alex Lendel, specifically, was very helpful throughout the move: from making sure all of our inventory was correct to dealing with the reimbursement. I am very happy that we chose to use Lexel and would recommend them in the future! EDIT: Not sure what Ross L. is referring to below me, as no "particle board" transported. Specifically, we had a sizable scratch on our TV (which was wrapped and packed by Lexel) and a few other item. Again, Lexel was generous in its reimbursement policy. read more

Lexel movers are the best movers we've ever had. We have moved five times in five years. We found Lexel two moves ago - and now we look no further. They're incredibly quick, efficient, and careful with furniture and belongings. On top of that, they're genuinely nice guys. I was especially impressed with Enrique, Elio, and Carlos this time around. They moved everything out of our 3 bedroom house AND moved everything into our new house in five hours total. That has to be some kind of record!! Ten out of ten stars! Highly recommend Lexel! read more

This was our third time using Lexel as movers and every time they are superb! We had Yeisen and Jose this past move; those two honestly deserve awards! They had an awesome attitude, were outrageously friendly, and most of all, cranked our move out super fast! We had a little hiccup with the freight elevator in the new apartment and they pivoted flawlessly and still got the truck unloaded in about an hour which floored us! They also started the move off by saying "We're going to get you through this as fast as possible" which as a consumer paying by the hour, I really appreciated! Can't recommend Lexel and it's crew enough! read more

Lexel Moving - Truck for a one-bedroom apartment. Fit into a pretty thin driveway easily. - Movers Near Me - Waltham, Massachusetts

Outstanding job moving me seamlessly from one apartment to another. Excellent communication, Nick called the day before and again the next morning to let me know when they'd arrive. Excellent work, used blankets to protect furniture and valuables. They worked hard and fast, and paid attention to every little detail. Excellent value for the money. read more

Nothing but good things to say about this company. I have used them several times over the past year to move heavy equipment racks up some extremely narrow stairs and each time there was not a scratch on the racks or stair rails. Alex is always a pleasure to deal with in setting up my appointments, he has always given me up front quotes and were much less than other companies. Nick and his crew, especially Enrique, were great to deal with and very knowledgeable on how to move things around. read more

I was quoted a great price compared to other companies, when I canceled with the other movers due to over pricing they told me I would be hit with hidden fees or crazy quota of hours. I am pleased to say they were straight forward and no hidden cost. The guys were efficient and help me pack and loaded my car for me. I didn't need a full move out and they accommodated my specific needs. I would use them again as they are flexible and accommodating. read more

Working with LEXEL Moving & Storage from start to finish made our move so easy. Not only were they professional, they were honest, hard working, and pleasure to be with throughout the day. We highly recommend using them if you're looking for a moving company. read more

Very professional people who always are responsive with any questions before the move. I needed COI with name of apartment building- they provided that within 24 hrs of request, before the move. The movers arrived late but were quick to empty the apartment and load the stuff, so I was free to stick to my plans. I moved from Boston to NYC. My stuff was delivered to me the next day- as scheduled. Price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Lexel Moving. read more

We were quoted $2,200-2,500 for a 100 mile move. This was the best price we could get with a last minute move so we booked this company. Somehow, they GROSSLY underestimated the time the move would take, and we ended up paying $5,500 in the end...for a one bedroom apartment. We were also charged ridiculous fees, including the travel time to and from the warehouse which they over-stated as an hour over the actual travel time it should have taken them (we were paying $400 an hour so that was just an extra $400 gone), and they taped up every single box and piece of furniture that we owned so much that it was near impossible to rip off...and we were charged for every roll of tape they used. By the way, they also used an entire roll of tape just to keep a door open. This company took advantage of us and nickel and dimed us for every little thing, and I would warn anyone who is looking to move in the Boston area to look elsewhere, because this company is a scam. read more

I haven't moved in 35 years and had to relocate my elderly Aunt. Was told many times that companies can't just give you a flat rate and can hike rates due to traffic time or mileage differences. Needless to say I was very skeptical. But I was very pleased with their on time arrival and quick loading There was an added charge for emissions but it was only $19 so was able to pay cash which gave me additional savings. Ended up being SO much cheaper than other companies They however are not good at email replies (possibly because I was obnoxious lol). But phone calls were efficiently answered. Our move went incredibly smoothly, thanks to the hard work of Lexel's team. Nick and his crew were so efficient; the move took 2 hours less than we had anticipated. They made sure everything ended up exactly where we wanted it. I still can't believe the crew managed to move our enormous bookshelf without having to disassemble it - I've moved with that thing 8 times, and every single time it has had to come apart and get put back together, adding hours to the time necessary. They were very careful with all of our belongings, even the fragile and heavy items. They had to navigate up a fairly narrow stairwell and managed to do so without so much as a scuff on the paint. I *hope* we don't have to move again any time soon, but we definitely wound book with Lexel again and will be enthusiastically referring all of our friends. read more

Doing a move to NYC, the pickup crew were efficient and Carlos in particular was helpful. EDIT: The experience I had with Lexel upon delivery of my furniture was so poor that I've been compelled to edit my review. Serge was the main mover who coordinated and facilitated the delivery of my furniture and the experience interacting with him was not pleasant at all. He and the crew refused to assemble a new bed of mine, despite my confirmation with the booking office that it was possible. To make matters worse, he was initially reluctant to even assemble the original bed that they moved, claiming he "did not have the tools." Keep in mind - disassembly and reassembly of all furniture is included with each move but the movers refused to honor this. The next day I was issued a $100 partial refund to the cost of my move to account for no assembly, but did not receive so much of an apology or admission of bad conduct from Ross, speaking to the poor customer service. I would not recommend Lexel for future movers. read more

This was my first time hiring movers, and it was such a great experience. They were extremely kind, hardworking, and responsive. Our apartment was more full than they anticipated, but they were excellent sports about it and worked quickly (though the cost of moving out was still was over the estimate due to additional time). They handled our belongings with care despire having such busy schedules on the days of our move. If you're willing to pay a bit more for a great moving experience, then I would recommend using Lexel! read more

The movers are friendly and very efficient at their job. They provide mattress packing and some other packing if needed. Very easy to work with. Set up with the company was very easy and the communication with the company was great. I had the A+ crew, in my opinion, John, Mario and Alexes, for a move in May. They were professional throughout a difficult move which entailed moving my apartment and a storage unit to my new abode. This was the first time my wife and I used a moving company to move from the Boston area to Brooklyn. The furniture pick-up crew arrived exactly on-time (!) and did a quick, careful and efficient job loading the truck with all of our belongings. They paid attention to our fragile items, disassembled our bed frame -- they even removed the TV mount from the wall, saving me some time -- and were very friendly throughout the afternoon. On the delivery end, a different crew arrived in Brooklyn (again, on-time) and carefully unloaded the truck and placed items in corresponding areas for easy unpacking. They worked quickly and effectively, even in the 85+ degree heat. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Lexel Moving and would highly recommend their services! read more

Setting up my move was easy and the move itself went amazingly well until I received my bill. I was charged WAY more than my original quote, almost a $250 difference, even after asking MULTIPLE times and being reassured MULTIPLE times that the estimate included all taxes and fees. After speaking with them they were able to make some price adjustment which went a LONG way to making things right. It was still more than what I had originally anticipated but it definitely helped in making things right. read more

Very good service ! They did a small move for me (studio/one bedroom) very efficient and amicable. 2 guys did the work, they were very quick and helpful, asked me where to put each boxes when moving in, removing the protection from the mattress... The issue is that they got stuck in traffic when coming to my place so the price can quickly go up if you are moving during traffic pic hours...For actually 45 minutes of actually charging/decharging, you can pay to 3 hours or more. Try moving weekdays, during non pic hours !! read more

Based on the impressive packing and moving services from Lexel I felt compelled to write a review sharing my experience. Thank you Pedro for your positivity and professionalism! I would not hesitate to use Lexel again. Before the move: Alex was very responsive and answered all of my (many) questions throughout the whole quote estimate process. The pricing structure was simple and transparent. I opted for full packing services for a long-distance move. --Packing/loading day: Pedro and his crew packed my entire apartment thoroughly and with care, using appropriate box types based on the contents. --Delivery day: Pedro and his crew tackled an extremely difficult delivery (3rd floor walkup with very tight hallways and doors) again with professionalism and no complaints, even though the narrow spaces were very difficult and made the job last longer than anticipated. They also made furniture reassembly (table and Ikea bedframe) look like a piece of cake compared to what I would have done. --The final cost came out to be basically the quoted price - no surprises. I reached out to about 7 other moving services and no one was able to match Lexel's quote in terms of amount and simplicity/predictability. --Follow-up: I appreciated that Christina called proactively to ask how the move went. Some advice for future customers: (1) Budget extra time - the job took significantly more time than the estimated 3-hour time window on both days even though I was very detailed in my initial Inventory list. This is understandable given the full packing service I opted for, my tricky delivery apartment space, and all the guesswork that goes into the time estimates. (2) Be prepared - read the company policy and fine print to understand what you're on the hook for moving yourself ahead of time. Having water bottles and snacks/food ready for the crew can't hurt! read more

We would not recommend Lexel Moving. Movers were suppose to arrive between 12-3 for pickup in Boston for move in to New York next day. 3:30pm, we are told they are delayed and will come at 6:00pm. It is now 6:30 pm and we have not heard from the movers. We made multiple calls for updates. We have not heard back. Phone is either busy or goes to voicemail. Unclear if prior reviews are real or not. Unreliable service does not match raving reviews. AVOID and look for other movers. Update-1 It is now 710pm, still have not heard from Lexel. Looking for another mover to help out last minute. Update- 2 8pm- finally someone called who said they will come at 9-9:30pm.
