I have rented storage units in the "city" and pulling a 10-ton truck in to load in and load out is a nightmare. While filming in a warehouse in Wilmington I noticed this facility being built. At the end of the year I decided to go check it out since it was time to put the kit to bed until February. It was awesome. Easy to get into. And the manager is so amicable and accommodating. She understood that having multiple units near one another was ideal for our load in and explained the facility rules of operation/billing/access clearly. The little supply shop was great, too, when we discovered our padlocks were too big. And that we'd run out of shrink wrap. I've suggested this facility to two other stylists and everyone has been thrilled with their experience. Glad to find someplace easy to access and with a small business approach to customer service.

I was surprised when Jenna G told me to use an email and then I would be in touch with a manager......This was odd because USStorage has all my information. It would appear that this is just a "legalize" way of doing nothing. I was very clear about my situation. USStorage would have tapes of all calls to the service center. The Middleton Building is completely NEW and that there was problems with mice, just tells me that the building is not well kept. They didn't have any discounts to offer, but the value of the spaces I rented was well worth it. I had also rented U-Haul trucks when they used to have them. They don't have them anymore, but my experience with their trucks was seamless and easy. I was able to get all my stuff moved in and the truck returned in one day. This Storage Facility is the best one I have ever been the customer of.

The building was secure and there were cameras everywhere. Driving around it and parking were easy, and the units are relatively easy to find. The GM, Laura, gave me a tour and helped me pick the right size unit for me (a smaller one). Laura also made sure I had no trouble getting in the building with my personal security code. Signing the agreement was quick and easy and Laura was patient and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. I'll update this again after my lease term is up, but I don't anticipate any problems based on what I saw.

There was no damage to any of my belongings and nothing went 'missing', as had happened years ago with another moving company out of Acton. My furniture was fully wrapped with clean, quilted blankets, while other crew members moved items, , and the crew chief organized items being placed in the truck. My 19yr old Son, who never took a day off prior, asked for a day off to say goodbye to his terminally grandfather in Boston (my Dad) ...who was the best Dad and Papa in the world (imo). Zach Ellis told him if he took the day off, he cant work there anymore and replied to him with text messages that made my skin curl. The text exchange, which I will share at a later date, is so offfensive that it made my mom (the widow) cry. How can anyone, business owner or otherwise, have this much greed and lack of human empathy. I have friends of mine that worked for the Ellis's years ago and it was a reputable business that cared about there employees and customers. Now it's a heartless money grubbing company that cares nothing about their employees or customers. I hope to I run into Zach Ellis and can share my sentiments in my own way with him.
