Used them twice and both times the experience was perfection because: - on time - courteous and professional - very careful with our belongings - a very fair price for the move. You can't miss with Bunker Hill read more

I hired Bunker Hill moving company for my recent move. I have to say they were excellent. Starting with the office staff scheduling and pricing the move to the day of the move, they were the most professional and hardworking. They worked so hard the day of the move and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this moving company. read more

Worked with Marcos and Marjoly to organize our move from MA to NH. They provided us with moving supplies (we moved in September and everything was sold out due to college moves so this really helped us out). When the big day came, it was seamless and very organized. They took a large house of furniture inside and outdoors and it fit perfectly in their truck. The moving team was top notch and very organized. I have utilized this company twice now in 12 years and each move went very well. My sister and her family have utilized them twice and also for their corporate office move. I would highly recommend Marcos and team for your moving needs. Price was fair and the team is wonderful to work with. Thank you! read more

We used Bunker Hill Moving twice at the end of May. Once for a move to storage, then a move to temporary home rental next town over while our house is getting rebuilt. Marcos helped with the scheduling and made sure the team of 3 (Ky, Raul and armando) was ready for both moves. They were quick but handled everything with care. Very accomodating, professional and made the move seamless and stressfree. Great service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend and will be using them again for when we move back. read more

I wish I could give them a million stars. That's how amazing they were. My husband and I moved after living in the same place for 40 years. We're the opposite of minimalists, so there was a LOT to pack and move. Five guys, two trucks. Marcos, the manager, came to the house to see what needed to be moved and provide an estimate. The guys showed up, and worked really hard for about 10 hours, in 90 degree heat. By the time we got to the new house, it was 11pm. They set up our bed and a few things we'd need overnight, and then returned the next morning to deliver everything else. Every one of these guys worked incredibly hard, and were so very nice. One thing that impressed me was that they had a leader, Raul, who coordinated everything and kept me informed of what was happening. I hate moving more than anything in life, but these folks made it not so horrible. I would absolutely recommend Bunker Hill Moving. read more

Really sweet guys who seem experienced. After a problem we couldnt anticipate they had to give up after really trying hard to get a too large cabinet through a tight pivot They admitted defeat and their boss though clearly frustrated decided not to charge me so I asked them to keep or sell the cabinet and tipped them for their trouble. I will definitely use this company again. They are reasonable and hard workers...very rare. Their price quote had been better than the competition. read more

Very easy to work with. Crew arrived exactly when they said they would. Friendly. Highly recommend Bunker Hill Moving.

A few years ago, I used this company to move to a different floor in my building. Now, circumstances have changed and I needed to get rid of furniture I no longer needed. So, my mom decided to take the dresser and bed off my hands, which was fine by me. I called Bunker Hill Moving because I was a past customer and my husband and I were satisfied with their services. I spoke to Martha and she was extremely helpful and answered all my questions and gave me a decent quote! Fast forward to day of the move and they moved everything out on time, and then I met them at my mom's place to help coordinate things. The box spring couldn't go up the stairs so they hoisted it up which helped a lot. Then the rest of the things were moved and that was that. They could have charged me for the hoist but they didn't which was generous (hoisting was unexpected and this was why). I tipped them pretty generously because of their services, professionalism and just amazing assistance with this task. I'd highly recommend!! read more

Very good company, gentle, concerning, dependable,I won't use any other than Bunker Hill Moving,

Excellent service. We had a complex move consisting of two days and four Bunker Hill movers. Antonio, Armando, Allan and Raul were phenomenal. They are hard working and professional. This was our third time using Bunker Hill and we were more than happy with these four guys! SSmith Weymouth read more

Bunker Hill Movers was recommended to me in July 2022 when I used them to move me from my seven room single home to a two bedroom apartment. That move was completed professionally, promptly, and carefully. So in January 2024 when I needed to have a heavy and bulky recliner moved from Milton to my apartment, I didn't hesitate to call Bunker Hill. From the first phone call with Enzo to moving day on January 9th, I experienced nothing but excellence. The two movers, Allan and Antonio actually arrived early to Milton and after removing two doors, carefully transported the chair from a second floor bedroom to the first floor via a "tricky" staircase. Upon arrival at my apartment building, Allan and Antonio not only delivered the chair but set it up so that I could use it immediately. Since I have a chronic back problem, the set up was greatly appreciated. All steps of the moving process were completed in a friendly, professional, and caring manner. I strongly recommend Bunker Hill for all moving jobs, large or small. Also, I was extremely pleased with the cost of the move and would always use Bunker Hill for any future moves. Under quoted me had to get a last minute truck charged me double the price. Broke priceless items on me. Never ever again.

Great service! Honest and reliable. Our move- out- of-state was easier because of the Bunker Hill team! Absolutely recommend!

We called Bunker Hill Moving for a relatively small moving job. We had our basement floor done over and we had emptied it of all basement items ourselves. It was awful! So we called around to see who we could hire to bring all our basement stuff back downstairs after the floor was finished. Bunker Hill Moving's price was competitive and the office staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The movers were available to come the day after I called. They were attentive, careful and efficient. We would not hesitate to use their services again. Good rate, excellent work. So glad we found them! read more

By far the best moving company I've used. Was quoted at 7 hours for a 2 bed apartment moving to a single family home. They did it in 4. Carefully wrapped the furniture, super gentle with the boxes. Killer job. They are cheaper than Gentle Giant and some of the bigger name moving companies, and guarantee that they do just as good or better of a job. Can't speak highly enough of these guys. read more

I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. If you are moving look no further than Bunker Hill Moving company. They made our move so easy, the boys were awesome, and nothing was a problem. They were so efficient, and they got furniture upstairs that we wouldn't have. They made it work, if they couldn't, it was not going to work. Very reasonably price. Worth every penny and some! read more

Bunker Hill Moving - Movers Near Me - Quincy, Massachusetts

The best overall moving company for price, professional, reliable, honest. Do not hire just Amy mover as most work through brokers and they take a cut. I have moved 3 times in the past 12 years and this time we moved from Woburn, MA to Florida with Bunker Hill. I cannot say enough about this family owned small business. First of all, Marco the owner knows his stuff he answered all our questions and delivered as promised. The total fees were disclosed up front and compared to other companies we saved money and everything went smoothly. I had problems before with out her moving companies such as many things broken and worst of all I my initial quote ended being thousands more for a "local move" we are very busy unpacking although I had to write a review because I feel so grateful to Bunker Hill Moving. read more

I definitely recommend Bunker Hill Moving. They made the worst experience of my life both bearable, and handled it with ease. They are amazingly compassionate and empathetic. I have witnessed some of the Best Customer Service I have EVER seen in my 42 yrs on this earth. In fact I used them twice! Once for the worst experience, and next for the best experience of my life. Not only were they compassionate, I felt like they deserved to witness both me in despair, and me on the other side of things. To the staff at Bunker Hill Moving I applaud you!!! Keep up the great work. I gave you 5 stars, because you will ALWAYS be the stars of my life. Thank you again!!!! Sincerely, Tia L. Young read more

I loved working with Bunker Hill Moving Company. Small business at it's best! They moved my stuff from Quincy to Sarasota Florida. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They took great care to wrap and cover all my furniture. They also saved me a lot of money by adding my belongings to another family also moving to Florida. Thank you Bunker Hill; you're awesome! read more

First time using movers and it was an excellent experience! The three guys who showed up to my house were professional polite and hard working. They didn't even blink an eye when construction at the end of my street caused a parking issue they just figured it out and got it done. Special thanks to the Quincy police for stopping the work and letting them get out to the main road! I paid a little more than the estimate and it wasn't cheap $700 before I tipped them but it was a tough third floor to third floor move and they did not slack off at all. They were gentle with all of my stuff in fact a screw fell out of one of my items and they were trying so hard to put it back like they thought the broke it and i was like guys its cool that falls out all the time. Highly recommend them. Martha in the office is so friendly and helpful! read more

Marcos and his team are very professional. They are clean, detailed, packed all our furniture very carefully, and moved us into our new home with no hiccups. The movers set up all our furniture, beds, bunk beds. The move went so smoothly. We even came under the estimated amount of hours for Moving!!!!! The movers did such a wonderful job, we hired them a week later to move our two storage units. Again, excellent work by the entire team!!! read more

Bunker hill made my move so much easier than past ones!! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because my pick up time was delayed 3 times, it was August 31st in Boston, but I had to call every 2 hours or so to ask when they would be there. When they arrived they worked so quickly and helped cut costs by using materials I had on hand. Everything was delivered promptly the next day and the move was less expensive than I anticipated. I would 100% use them again! read more

I just hire Bunker Hill Moving to relocate my apartment within the Allston area to Newton. They provided me with an on site moving quote that includes all the services I needed, the moving plan and a flat rate. The move took one day as planed and the moving crew were great, fast and very professional. That save great amount of stress. I didn't have to be involved in the move process from the start to the completion of the move. They were very friendly and confident (which is important when your belongings are in their hands), also they are fully insured that means, peace of mind for me. I will be very happy to reccomend them to my friends. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Bunker Hill Movers. They were friendly, helpful and always on time. My move was from Boston to Ft Myers Fl. Everything went great. They delivered all my furniture with no problems right on time. Thank you for a wonderful move read more

Simply put, they did an excellent job and if you are looking for a moving company that you can trust and will get your things to you without delay and without damage then they're your company. After pouring over dozens of options for my move, I was to the end of my rope with all the calls, all the estimates and all the information I had to digest. In the end, I realized after reading blog after blog on moving that the most important factor in choosing a mover is how well others fared before you. Price is secondary, when you're looking to choose a mover that will ensure the safe delivery of all of your belongings. I chose Bunker Hill Moving not because they were the cheapest, but because they had quite the reputation with 5 stars across the board on Yelp and of course, they met the criteria for professional movers, having all the permits and insurance and so on. My first contact with Bunker Hill Moving was exceptionally better than with other movers I spoke with. Joanie was the first person I spoke with over the phone and she was incredibly accommodating with my dates and my requests. I discussed with her my specific needs and she was more than willing to work with me to accommodate them. Additionally, when I indicated that the estimate for my move was over my budget, she asked Marcos, the gentleman coordinating our move to speak with me and help to make our move fall within our budget. From the very beginning dealing with this company I felt like they were honest and friendly, and not smarmy and shady, like some of the others with whom I spoke. Finally, on our move day things took a turn for the worse for Bunker Hill - their truck broke down. Rather than delay my move however (our new residence would have charged us $500 - $800 for the delay in moving-in), they circled their wagons, found a way to move my things and deliver them on time despite not having access to their own moving van. Moreover, despite the setback Marcos came for work with a smile on his face and pleasant quality about him that most people don't have when they're not hauling my furniture down from a 4th floor walk-up. I had such a positive experience with Bunker Hill Moving that I will not only recommend them to friends seeking movers in the future, but insist they go with them because they are just that good. And if you're looking to hire a moving company I insist you go with them too! read more

Without question the best movers you could possibly hire. I've used them three times in the last two months and the service was exceptional each time. Prompt, courteous and no hidden fees. You simply sit back and enjoy. Truly a surprise in these times of subpar customer service! read more

Great customer service and reasonably priced! My parents used them and highly recommended that I use them when I moved into my current apartment 14 months ago. That was a great experience, very quick and professional. I just called to book my next move for June and Martha remembered my family from our multiple moves last year. She is very kind, funny, and a joy to work with. Looking forward to working with them again! 6/30/17: Just finished my final move for a while (hopefully) and, as always, just blown away by their service. Great guys, incredibly careful with your stuff, and fast! Can't say enough great things. read more

We used Bunker Hill for our move from Cambridge to Somerville. Right from the start Joanie was extremely nice, professional and accommodating over the phone. Joanie and Mario came by to estimate the amount of stuff we had and how long it would take them to move it all. On the day itself Mario and his crew arrived on the agreed upon time and got to work immediately. We had packed our boxes ourselves and had everything ready to go. They wrapped all our furniture in professional moving blankets and made sure nothing got damaged. Within a couple of hours they had the truck loaded and were ready to go. After a quick lunch and a 15 minute drive the truck was in front of our new house. Again, within a couple of hours all our things were in the rooms we wanted them in and they were done. It was a great experience and very uneventful, that sounds boring, but that's what you want from a move. I would definitely recommend them, they were simply fantastic! read more

Bunker Hill Moving Company is simply amazing! From the very beginning they were great with customer service and professionalism. My hubby and I moved from Quincy to Savin Hill, Dorchester and I called a few places for estimates. Not only were Carol and Martha helpful, they were also very knowledgeable and friendly helping me get all set up for our move. Then came the day of the move and WOW the 3 men that came, Marcos, Sig and ___ (can't remember sadly) were seriously incredible!!!!! They were fast, professional, friendly, helpful, efficient, clear, accommodating, and most of all creative in terms of getting our furniture into our 2nd floor condo. And let me say that the sectional was NOT easy to get in - our hallway was too small so they had to send it through a window! Oh and since they were efficient the whole thing was extremely extremely reasonable in terms of price! Overall, I have deep appreciation for BHM and I am very happy to give them a glowing review! I highly recommend them to any friends and family and to the Yelp community!! read more

Love these people.. Have used them twice to move my daughter. Not only are their prices great, but Martha in the office is fantastic... She worked with me changing the time of the move 3 times. I was in quite the bind the other day; I had a 350lbs safe I had to move up some tight stairs. After trying to get it up the stairs myself with a dolly I decided there has to be a better way. I sat staring at the safe blocking the door to my house and called Bunker Hill. They couldn't have been more accommodating, they sent a 2 man team to my house while I was at work and handled everything quickly and neatly. The whole process was easy and hassle free. Can't thank them enough! read more

I would give Bunker Hill Moving 5 stars because Obama's crew was fast, hard working, and efficient but they damaged some of my furniture during the move. If the crew was aware of the damage they could have told me as I am an understanding guy. I did send an email to the office manager to bring it to their attention and as of 2 weeks after the move I have not received a response. I would use Bunker Hill Moving again. read more

Recently we moved from Quincy to Hingham, It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Bunker Hill . They were courteous , polite and respectful of our personal effects .
