I had a complex move...I could only move my bedroom & bathroom items into my new condo, as it was being renovated at the time. Bunker Hill Moving put the rest of my furniture/belongings into storage for 2 months. In the meantime, I decided I didn't have room for some of my furniture, so I didn't want it delivered. Plus, I had a refrigerator I wanted delivered to someone in Whitman, MA. On my original moving day, the crew was very professional, handled everything with care and wrapped the delicate items so they would not break during loading, transport or unloading....they did an exceptional job in this regard! On my 2nd move day, they came to my condo, picked up the refrigerator and delivered it with great care. They loaded the truck at the storage facility and delivered it, again with great care, not only for my belongings, but also for the doorways & walls that had recently been painted...Nothing got damaged or scratched. They reassembled all tables, bookcases, and furniture very carefully and precisely. They laid down my rug and arranged the furniture per my request. They carefully stacked the boxes with my packed items....Everything Was Handled With Care!! I also asked them to rearrange the bedroom furniture, which they gladly did. They offered to do anything I needed. They took the items I didn't want and stored them until I could get a charitable organization to pick them up. I spoke with Martha several times and she is an Absolute Joy to work with...very accommodating, professional and detail-oriented...she made sure everything was executed properly. Moving a small business is always a stressful time in the office. Marta and Marcos were efficient, kind and helpful every step of the way. We called around to a few different companies and after speaking to Martha during the first call she told me she could send Marcos over within the hour to get a feel for what we needed accomplished. Marcos arrived in 15 minutes and was professional and knowledgeable beyond our hopes. He walked through the entire office with us and gave us a fair, reasonable and honest quote that very day. The move in date had to be moved a week out from the date agreed upon due to delays at our new office space and Martha and Marcos handled this hiccup flawlessly. On the day of the move the crew arrived on time and ready to work. They emptied a two floor office full of heavy desks, filing cabinets, and credenzas like only professional movers could. They took special care of fragile items including the copier and fax machine. Upon arrival at the new office space they unpacked the truck and moved the large awkward pieces of furniture carefully into the space without denting, damaging and rubbing anything in the newly constructed space. BEST AND STRESS FREE EXPERIANCE !!! Couple months ago I needed a moving company. I did what most people do and did research on line and also used YELP. Narrowed it down to two companies and after speaking with both of them I zeroed down on BHM. Two reasons for that... First, just like with every first phone call experience the person on the other side shapes your opinion rather quickly and with that said Martha is by far one of my best customer experience!!! Second their price was best offer I heard that day on the phone... But all the good stuff was far from over.. After smoothing out the details with Martha over the phone - setting up day and time for appraisal, fee etc... I had the pleasure to welcome Marco in our home to do a check list and inventory of all the furniture that had to be moved.. We are talking of 3 bedroom house with bunch of basement and attic junk to go with all the legit stuff. Marco was on point and in control of everything from minute one till the last box was moved in our new home. I was faced with a problem that I had to move a little more quickly than I had anticipated and had to book movers in just a few days. I spoke with Martha and although they were were booked up for a morning move on the day that I needed, she arranged for an additional truck and crew to run so that we could make it happen. I was shocked and so thankful that she was able to set that up for me. Martha was professional, friendly, and helpful in setting up the scheduled move and immediately sent me a quote after we first spoke. On the day of the move Marcos and his crew arrived promptly on schedule and tirelessly got to work. They were so careful with every item and yet so quick about what they did. Each member of the crew was extremely conscientious, hardworking, and had a great attitude. I imagine that being a professional mover is a tough job and it would be easy to have a negative attitude. This is an easy review to write -- 5 stars says it all ! Joanie in the office was attentive and professional and took the time to review every item so that she could give her best estimate. Joanie also followed up after the move. Excellent customer service! Marcos and his team were terrific. They are extremely careful with wrapping and padding each and every treasured possession and work efficiently. In fact, they are so detail-oriented that Marcos noticed I had left curtain brackets on the wall - he immediately got his drill and removed them for me. I had mis-estimated the # of wardrobe boxes I needed, but there were extras in the truck. They packed them for me (I had to do it myself on my last move with another company!). When we arrived at my new home, Marcos and his team took the time to come in and assess the space and ask where I wanted the furniture to be placed. Bunker Hill Moving is by far and away the most honest, trustworthy and diligent mover I have ever encountered, despite not using them for my most recent move. During a recent move I was required by my employer to use one of its "preferred international vendors" for a local move into storage. Their fee quote was outrageous, more than $5,000 what other national movers charge. At the recommendation of a friend I called Martha at Bunker Hill. While they could not accommodate my schedule due to the move being last minute, Martha reviewed my estimate and gave me advice on negotiating a lower fee from the other carrier. Martha was relentless in trying to make things work. And she wanted to ensure I was getting the best deal, despite ultimately not using their company!! She was very transparent about their services and pricing. That kind of service is unheard of in this day and age. I will absolutely use them when I take my household goods out of storage. I'm a bit delayed in writing this, but my move with Bunker Hill Moving in April was amazingly easy. This was my first time hiring movers after several moves on my own, and it was definitely a great experience! I had spoken with 4 or 5 companies in the area and Bunker Hill Moving was by far the most responsive, friendly and affordable of them all. The crew arrived at the early end of the time estimate I'd been given, which is something you always hope for but don't always get with other companies. I had two rooms worth of furniture and about 20 boxes, and they wrapped, loaded and unloaded it all in just about two hours. I was expecting to be moving in all morning, but by 11am, I was already unpacking boxes because the crew was so efficient. Not only were they incredibly efficient, but they were also very friendly, courteous and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the move. Antonio, Raul and Armando are the BEST!!!! In 5 and a half hours they moved a lifetime's worth of furniture and belongings into my new house. All three men were friendly, professional, and fast. It was a difficult move with heavy boxes, large and heavy pieces of furniture, difficult access points, and three flights of stairs in each location. But despite that, every single thing arrived without so much as a scratch, drop, ding, scrape, or nick. This team could not have been more helpful or good-tempered. And even though they managed to complete the move sooner than I would have thought possible, they never cut corners or compromised on quality. Prior to arrival, I was a nervous wreck not having everything prepared which was the kitchen table and couch wrapped up.
