Climate control claim is misleading. During the summer, I t's too hot and humid inside. During the winter it's too cold. It's a bit overpriced, and also considering their operating hours are so narrow. It's almost like bankers hours. You almost have to takeoff work just so you can access your locker. WE are taking apart my childhood home because my mother passed away and the house is being sold. We will need to store a lot of things in the meantime, so I looked at online reviews to select a self storage unit. This location of Stor-U-Self has great reviews and is not far from my house, so I booked a unit online. Right away I got a call from Dennis, introducing himself, thanking me for signing up, and asking did I need any advice. Very friendly professional vibe. A day later my husband told me that a location closer to my mother's house would serve us better, since we would need to make many round trips to drop off the items. I called Dennis and I was wondering if he would take a cancelation fee from me. He was as helpful as could be, and said he would refund all my money and I should expect to get a receipt in my inbox to that effect. And so I did. I have been renting outside containers for storing my baby, ( 2007 Mustang convertible ) since Nov. 2012. My seasonal renting usually runs 6 months ( November thru April ) . My containers have always been very clean and dry. I enjoy talking and spending time with Gino and Kellie especially when we're talking about our dogs. This place is great. Learning from my prior experience of hiring a mover without reviewing the Yelp review, I checked out Stor-U-Self Storages review. They seemed very good! So I drove on over and was greeted by Gino (you might have read about him in prior reviews). He is as friendly as advertised! We took a tour of the facility and Gino showed me some various sized of the spaces they had available. Gino suggested a space based on my description of the items that I would be storing. I thought the space might be too small, so he showed me the next size up. I again thought it would be too small (10X10) Gino says "I would love to take your money for a bigger spot, but I really don't think you will need it." So instead of encouraging me to pay more for a bigger space, he gave me his honest opinion. He also told me that if I should need a larger space one would be available for me on the day of my move. He walked me through the procedure, prices, insurance. He also informed me of a roof issue they recently had resolved. The staff at Stor-u-self was courteous, friendly answered all of my ridiculous questions. The facility is clean, well lit, easily accessible for the movers and conveniently located. We had a good experience with our 10X20 rental for the past 12 months. The facility is clean and climate was well managed. We stored most of the contents of our house while in transition there and everything came out in the same condition it went in. Very safe, clean and secure. My wife rented a Penske truck in the 25 st conn, woburn ma. When we return the truck on time, the person who was working on the schedule is too busy asking to leave the key on the counter because everything was right. I asked to pick up the receipt and even said that passase it later because I was too busy, I returned the next day to pick up the receipt was received by another person very rude. When I started to check the receipt I noticed multiple charges extra: more like an extra day of insurance and Charging ridiculous $ 40 for gasoline. This and a steal because I delivered the truck to the tank at the same limit that the marker showed when we took. In the office the person who was there, they return the insurance fee, but they claimed that gasoline was falatndo even after I call the central office to complain about the service in the office of woburn ma.
