Also, they don't have the hidden charge of insurance or buying a proprietary lock. The place is clean and easy to use. The only semi-weird thing is that there are load bearing columns in the units that you need to work around for storing your stuff but that's to be expected in a retrofitted old factory building. I believe the space taken up by these columns is not counted in the square footage of the unit so it's no big deal unless you're trying to store some sort of giant item. Anyway, highly recommended!

He said I was accusing them of stealing money from me, which was not at all the case. I am just a customer making sure I was refunded the proper amount. He seemed to take this as a personal offense, raised his voice at me on the phone, and hung up on me. When I pointed out his rude behavior, he said that I "caught him on a bad day". I too am having a bad week; I evacuated from the fires in LA. That is not an excuse to treat someone so poorly, especially as a customer service person who is attempting to serve a customer. He also insisted we were only docked 2 days of the month for the prorate, but we calculated it and it was 4 days. It's not our fault they were delayed in closing out the unit. He implied that two days worth of money should not be a big deal, but to some people, including us, $30 is important.

I had a climate controlled inside unit because I stored beautiful antique oriental rugs from my parents estate amongst other beautiful items. ALL my rugs were destroyed because of water damage along with many boxes of gorgeous antiques. The rugs were all room size, some 11X14, none were small. They charge you for insurance yet they say they have absolutely nothing to do with the insurance end.... They added extra storage compartments on the inside of the of the interior so it is EXTREMELY difficult to get through and past other cars. I called their 800# in NY and she hung up on me. STAY AWAY!!!!!! FAR AWAY!!!!
