They didn't have any discounts to offer, but the value of the spaces I rented was well worth it. I had also rented U-Haul trucks when they used to have them. They don't have them anymore, but my experience with their trucks was seamless and easy. I was able to get all my stuff moved in and the truck returned in one day. This Storage Facility is the best one I have ever been the customer of.

The building was secure and there were cameras everywhere. Driving around it and parking were easy, and the units are relatively easy to find. The GM, Laura, gave me a tour and helped me pick the right size unit for me (a smaller one). Laura also made sure I had no trouble getting in the building with my personal security code. Signing the agreement was quick and easy and Laura was patient and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. I'll update this again after my lease term is up, but I don't anticipate any problems based on what I saw.

ALL my rugs were destroyed because of water damage along with many boxes of gorgeous antiques. The rugs were all room size, some 11X14, none were small. They charge you for insurance yet they say they have absolutely nothing to do with the insurance end.... They added extra storage compartments on the inside of the of the interior so it is EXTREMELY difficult to get through and past other cars. I called their 800# in NY and she hung up on me. STAY AWAY!!!!!! FAR AWAY!!!!

I had looked at several other storage facilities in the area when I was selling my house and moving into an apartment and needed to store some of my stuff. 10x Self Storage beat all of the rest that I looked at. The manager that I first met with was excellent and and explained the whole process to me who hadn't rented a unit previously. The facility is easily accessible and conveniently situated with lots of parking. It is climate controlled and the inside access is great as opposed to other facilities which only had access from the outdoors and were not climate controlled. The building is kept very clean which I appreciated.

Previously, I was at a competitor. I had a small 5x10 unit, outdoor access, not climate controlled, and part-time attendant. I went there because it was close, and they had a "first month free" offer. I never actually got that free month, and they raised my rates twice in a six month period by a large amount. At first, it was $85/month, then two months in it was raised to $133/mo; then I got a notice in November that it would be raised to $180/mo right before Christmas. I decided it was time to move out and find some place better. I got a unit at 10x Self Storage on Pullman Street. The unit was 10x10 (actually a little bigger), indoor, and climate controlled. At $175/mo, it was a tad cheaper than my previous unit with way more benefits. They offered 50% off for the first three months, and actually stuck by the offer (unlike the previous place that never gave me the promised free month). I used the 10x10 for a year, then downsized to a smaller 5x5 unit at $59/mo before moving out (I no longer needed extra storage). I really appreciate a company that doesn't bait-and-switch, and that doesn't get you into a unit only to jack your rates up. I found 10x to be an honest business, top quality, and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them, and would also use their facilities again.

The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice. This was the easiest storage rental I've had. Having moved around a lot in the past and now having to manage storing a bunch of stuff for an estate, I was happy to get set up with a unit here. Marcy was very easy-going and friendly and walked me through everything. It all made sense and it was nice to get a discount on a couple of months rent with a deal they had. The only negative is sometimes you have to go looking for one of the carts they offer. That's not a ding on them, though. Some people just hoard the carts to load things up on and never put them back in the place they got them from. Just like people who end their sentences with prepositions, you have to tolerate people being people sometimes.

They did go a little past the time quoted but that is to be expected especially since we were located on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Although I wasn't happy with the extra $500 in charge I paid it because I can tell they worked hard- My husband didn't want me to pay them since he also helped them a bit with moving items but it would have added an extra few hours so I am glad he did. In any case, I found the movers to be professional. Anything they pulled apart they put back together. My two stars are not for those guys but for the issues that resulted afterward. Since they did drop my treadmill and another item and damaged my floor they offered to fix it since they have a flooring company. Vanessa was a bear to deal with from sending fake information to canceling appts or not following up until the last minute if at all. First, she showed up with markers to colour the floor then she sent someone who insisted the damage was from heat then she sent another person who told me he can't change the flooring and if he switched it out it would be made worse and he doesn't know what to do. She then emails me and said he felt humiliated by me which is NOT what he stated. If you need to move- use another company as the customer service from the office is terrible.
