I had looked at several other storage facilities in the area when I was selling my house and moving into an apartment and needed to store some of my stuff. 10x Self Storage beat all of the rest that I looked at. The manager that I first met with was excellent and and explained the whole process to me who hadn't rented a unit previously. The facility is easily accessible and conveniently situated with lots of parking. It is climate controlled and the inside access is great as opposed to other facilities which only had access from the outdoors and were not climate controlled. The building is kept very clean which I appreciated.

Previously, I was at a competitor. I had a small 5x10 unit, outdoor access, not climate controlled, and part-time attendant. I went there because it was close, and they had a "first month free" offer. I never actually got that free month, and they raised my rates twice in a six month period by a large amount. At first, it was $85/month, then two months in it was raised to $133/mo; then I got a notice in November that it would be raised to $180/mo right before Christmas. I decided it was time to move out and find some place better. I got a unit at 10x Self Storage on Pullman Street. The unit was 10x10 (actually a little bigger), indoor, and climate controlled. At $175/mo, it was a tad cheaper than my previous unit with way more benefits. They offered 50% off for the first three months, and actually stuck by the offer (unlike the previous place that never gave me the promised free month). I used the 10x10 for a year, then downsized to a smaller 5x5 unit at $59/mo before moving out (I no longer needed extra storage). I really appreciate a company that doesn't bait-and-switch, and that doesn't get you into a unit only to jack your rates up. I found 10x to be an honest business, top quality, and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them, and would also use their facilities again.

This was the easiest storage rental I've had. Having moved around a lot in the past and now having to manage storing a bunch of stuff for an estate, I was happy to get set up with a unit here. Marcy was very easy-going and friendly and walked me through everything. It all made sense and it was nice to get a discount on a couple of months rent with a deal they had. The only negative is sometimes you have to go looking for one of the carts they offer. That's not a ding on them, though. Some people just hoard the carts to load things up on and never put them back in the place they got them from. Just like people who end their sentences with prepositions, you have to tolerate people being people sometimes.

The lady at the desk yelled at her and said she could help at the moment that it would be awhile. No time frame. I then went in to assist. I barely put my foot in the door, lady yelled " I won't be able to help you now" I asked how long. She replied maybe an hour or so. Her tone was awful and very rude. I reminded her we were going to be paying customers. A better approach would of been for her to politely let us know it could be an hour before we were even spoken to. Needless to say we took our business a friendly storage facility in Hudson MA. Please train staff that customers are the reason she has a job. Treating one with disrespect does not work. Thank you! I absolutely DO NOT recommend this storage unit to anyone. Poor customer service, my belongings…read morecame out MOLDY from a climate controlled unit, and they increased the price $10 a month shortly after I moved my stuff in. Moving my belongings out of this storage unit, I found that much of it was moldy. I want to make it clear that NOTHING was moldy before it went into the storage unit. It was in storage for 11 months. I was told that this was a climate controlled unit (which is why I chose it), so I am baffled as to how so much mold grew on my belongings. Shortly after I moved in, the company increased my rent by $10 a month. Doing this so soon after I moved in really makes it seem like they give you a more reasonable rate at move-in, but then increase the prices as soon as your stuff is in there and would be a pain to move to another facility. Lastly, when I moved in the woman in the office told me that the outside door (that leads into the hallway where my unit was) was always unlocked and so she did not give me a key (I was given the impression that keys were not issued since the door was to remain unlocked). When I went to get my belongings, I called ahead to let them know and to make sure that the door would be unlocked (I had gone once to check on my belongings and was unable to get in because the door was locked). The woman on the phone told me that I was given a key when I moved in and that the office was closed the next day so no one could help me. When I assured her that I was never issued a key, she told me that I may have just forgotten that I was given one and that it would cost me $25 for a replacement. I am 100% certain that I was never issued a key for this door, but the storage unit office insisted on blaming this on me and refused to offer me any type of solution. Because of this, we had to reschedule our movers that were supposed to arrive the next day. If you are looking for a fair company that cares about their customers and a safe place to keep your belongings, stay far away from this storage unit.

Mozart Movers were top-notch! I initially did some moving…read morecompanies comparisons, and ultimately decided on Mozart as the background office staff was informative, courteous, professional and timely, and they answered all of my questions, that is a feat in itself. The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice. I am storing my beautiful RV in their back parking area which is paved and well lit. I have only stored her in a covered heated garage in the past,so I am nervous about outside storage. We had to keep his stuff in storage for 3 months. The facility is outside of the City limits and easy to get to. Its a very quiet location and very large in size. Cost was reasonable, and much cheaper than the city competition. Has plenty of carts to move your stuff into an elevator. Has great pull-in garage area for unloading. Staff was very friendly and all transaction management is web based. A1 in my book.
