This is the second time I have used 3E movers and both times the crew arrived on time. The crew was professional and accomodating to the few requests I made. There was no damage to any of my belongings and nothing went 'missing', as had happened years ago with another moving company out of Acton. My furniture was fully wrapped with clean, quilted blankets, while other crew members moved items, , and the crew chief organized items being placed in the truck. Everyone had primary responsibilities and all crew members helped lift and carry. iIt was great witnessing such a hard working, disciplined team. read more

The day-to-day workers in this company are hardworking young men. The owners of this company are money grubbing heartless mongers. My 19yr old Son, who never took a day off prior, asked for a day off to say goodbye to his terminally grandfather in Boston (my Dad) ...who was the best Dad and Papa in the world (imo). Zach Ellis told him if he took the day off, he cant work there anymore and replied to him with text messages that made my skin curl. The text exchange, which I will share at a later date, is so offfensive that it made my mom (the widow) cry. How can anyone, business owner or otherwise, have this much greed and lack of human empathy. I have friends of mine that worked for the Ellis's years ago and it was a reputable business that cared about there employees and customers. Now it's a heartless money grubbing company that cares nothing about their employees or customers. I hope to I run into Zach Ellis and can share my sentiments in my own way with him. Zach- My name is Tom Cryan and I really hope we can meet in person some day soon. read more

3E Moving & Storage - Some of the furniture at 3E has put in storage for me. - Movers Near Me - North Chelmsford, Massachusetts

We hired them to move a sofa from a location out of town to our house the good: good prices The bad: below par communication between them and us. no notification that they were running late so we didn't even know if they were coming at all. We waited over a half hour before concluding that they weren't coming. The office was closed so we couldn't confirm that they would even show up. They arrived only minutes before we left and returned home read more

3E Moving was the best experience from start to finish. Such a great family-owned business that you can tell really prioritizes keeping the stress of their customers low. One of the owners/managers came to my home free of charge during the estimate process to get the most accurate quote and help with suggestions on packing & dismantling certain items. On the day, the van arrived ahead of schedule & they were so friendly, efficient, and helpful. Any snags I was worried about, they were 100% confident with & everything went seamlessly. I will absolutely use them again if/when there is a need. read more

3E handled a cross state move. Part of the service was storing our household goods for several weeks before our new home closed. The pre-pickup discussion was thorough and pleasant. The pickup was handled well. However the first sign of a problem was taking goods we explicitly told them were needed over the gap period. The move in was handled well and the crew was polite. Up until this point we were very pleased. It took us awhile to unpack so shame on us. We finally noticed that all of our good cookware was missing. The All-Clad and other commercial grade stuff. Easily $1500. The basic items did make it to the new place. This is just an observation; I'm not accusing anyone of anything. It took several calls to get a follow up. Finally we were told they didn't have it because it had been stored in a dedicated location that was completely emptied on the day of the move. We specifically packed those items carefully, some of which was passed down to us. They refused to meet the replacement value and were only willing to offer $400. No idea of it's whereabouts. Sad because the items have been used for everyday cooking and holidays for years. One note regarding any household move: We thought we were diligent by very carefully packing and clearly labeling all of the boxes. We highly recommend not only doing that but taking pics of each major item and each box opened and closed. Might have helped find it. read more

Moving is the worst! It's beyond stressful and so exhausting! 3E made moving so so easy. They are family owned and it truly shows; they actually care about their jobs/work (which is a rare find these days)! Nothing was damaged, they were on time, super personable, went above and beyond what was estimated (without complaint), and the entire staff was ON POINT. I have moved 13 times within the past 15 years; they were the best team to date. I hope I don't move in the near future but IF I do I will only hire 3E!!! Thanks team! P.S. my 5 year old Daughter has a bit of a crush on the team of movers, she keeps asking if they are coming back :) read more

3E Moves provided a good and professional service. However, their final price was significantly more than quoted--40% more. This, combined with a written recommendation in the quote for an additional 15% tip, made them an expensive choice. read more

Just hired 3E to move a huge armoire down 2 flights of steps. The entire experience was brilliant..phonecall returned quickly and by a very nice woman, estimate provided, work scheduled within 1day, movers arrived precisely on-time, were professional and friendly, listened to my requests, worked quickly, made no mistakes, and even asked about any cleanup. THIS IS THE COMPANY TO CALL! This is how old-school local businesses were run. This was worth every penny. read more

HIGHLY recommend 3E Moving & Storage. Moving is always stressful, but this crew was beyond amazing. From the first phone call to the time they moved the last item into our new place, we had complete confidence in 3E. They provided an accurate and reasonable quote, they were professional from start to finish, they were on-time on the morning of the move, and completed the move from Nashua, NH to Marlborough, MA within the time given. All of our furniture and belongings were treated with the utmost care and delivered without any problems. A friend recommended 3E to us and we will absolutely pass on that same recommendation to others. read more

The movies of this company very very good. The two gentlemen that I had were fantastic. Hard workers no breaks, which I encouraged, never seem to stop working they were gentle on the furniture and I would definitely use them again. read more

The team is hardworking, fast and knowledgeable about white glove packing. They were also very friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed, however, in them failing to be upfront and transparent about not disposing paint when I made a point of needing that help in the estimate appointment and later in pointing out the paint on move day. After the first day of packing, the paint hadn't been touched. When I called the office, I was told that they couldn't take it and acted like I should know that. Fortunately, on the day of my move the Devens, MA hazardous disposal was open which only happens twice a month. But what a stressful hustle piled on to the stress of moving. Also, after they left, I noticed a good number of things left behind like a picture and vacuum cleaner behind doors, things in the draws, etc. read more

Very attentive to our needs and easy to work with. There was one casualty a pane of glass in a small curio cabinet which was replaced in a week. Over all very pleased with their service. read more

I'm not sure how to respond to the manager's response except to say 1) it took her more than 4 years to respond and 2) I don't think she even read the review saying that it wasn't fair to give a one star review when we didn't use their service. The one star was based entirely on their pricing for a very small half hour job that involved walking about 20 steps and no stairs. There is no way we would use their service based on their pricing. read more

Unbelievable service. The guys that came did an unbelievable job. They were extremely professional and completed the job quickly and not a scratch on anything. Asked me where I wanted things placed in new residence and could not believe how fast and efficient they were. Stay tuned I have more work for you soon. Thanks 3E.... 3E moved us from Westford to southern NH last week. They showed up exactly when they said they would, with 5 strong guys and two big trucks, which was just what they'd estimated they'd need. For our 4 bedroom house, it took them about 9 hours. They were careful with everything, and we had no breakage. Before they left, they walked through the house with us to be sure all the furniture and heavy stuff was where we wanted it. And the final bill was slightly below the bottom end of their estimate. We were really delighted with how careful they were, how friendly and professional. Happy to refer them to anyone who's planning a move. read more

Mike, Zach, and the entire team at 3E made the stressful process of moving a whole lot easier. The crew showed up the day before the move, on time, and loaded up the house in about 3 hours. The next day, after our signing, they had the truck unloaded, furniture set up, and the job finished in about 3 hours. The cost, including overnight storage, was hundreds less than the other estimates we got. My family was very happy with the service we recieved from 3E and would reccomend them to anyone who needs movers. read more

Moving is stressful and 3E Moving & Storage made it so I didn't worry for one minute when dealing with a move from Lawrence to Andover. They came and gave me an in person quote and included everything on the estimate that I could possible need. I had everything packed and ready for them. They arrived on time and finished faster than expected. I am so excited to be in my new space and the Ellis family did a great job. read more

Recently, we moved and used 3E Moving and Storage located in North Chelmsford. They were timely and efficient in the packing and unloading. However, the packing damaged 7 of 8 hand painted plates from an antique set of porcelain china. The owners were made aware of their value and I requested that they be packed with extra care. Mike assured us that he would personally be responsible for the packing and that this was not to be a concern. As we moved this service twice in the past with no issue, we assumed that the move would be without damage. As we unpacked the plates, there were chips and large pieces missing from the rims of the plates. We emailed pictures, called and tried to find a good solution to the repair/restoration of the damaged plates. We have yet to receive a phone call or email to respond to our communications. I was told by the office staff that I needed extra insurance to cover the damage to the valuable plates. No one mentioned that when I asked for the special attention during packing. The office staff added that what was covered was about $.20 per plate. The cost of restoring the plates is about $1500. We were told that someone would be in contact with us shortly to discuss the situation. We have been waiting for over two months. Both my husband and myself have tried to contact and discuss the situation without any response or communication. If you are moving valuables, I would use another company that stands behind their service. read more

I have been both someone who's moved a few times over the past 10-12 years, as well as a Realtor, who's been in a position to recommend this wonderful family owned business. 3E has consistently provided excellent service, arrive when they say they will, the guys who do the move are pleasant, hard working, and leave the house clean and neat. They don't even complain when asked to rearrange a piece of furniture or two! I've recommended them to as many clients that I could, and NEVER had a complaint, which was vastly different from the experiences that my other sellers or buyers had, when working with other moving companies that they chose. Their prices are extremely reasonable... Will continue to recommend whenever I get the chance. read more

I find it very annoying when you ask a moving company like 3E, that supposedly has a great repuation and you get quotes that are so far out of line with reality it makes one wonder how they remain in business. Recently I requested a quote for moving a refrigerator from my kitchen to my basement. I did get a prompt and courteous reply but the pricing was so outrageous, I had to listen to their voicemail twice to make sure I heard it correctly. $500.00 for maybe 15-20 minutes of work. Really??? If 3E Movers don't want to do small jobs or move heavy appliances, then they should just say so and not overprice their quotes to force good repeat customers to seek alternatives. In the end, I found one of their local competitors to do the job for less than half their price, and the results were perfect! read more

We have used this moving company three times in the past three months. They were pretty consistent for service, speed, on time arrival and politeness and professionalism of employees. The cost was consistent with the estimate - ultimately they only charge for the actual hours so the two smaller moves were less than the estimate. We did send several items to storage so I can't speak to that just yet, but each move was seamless and relatively easy. Our neighbors recommended this company based on their experience and I'm so glad they did. Rather than relying on reviews I got a firsthand recommendation. read more

We used 3E twice in the last 6 months to move from Virginia into storage, and out of storage once we finally found a home. I highly recommend 3E to everyone I talk to. The team packed us up in VA, and did it so fast it blew us away. Most importantly, having just unpacked the last box, not a single item was broken or damaged. Way better than if I had packed us! The 3E teams were professional, prompt, and listened to all of the instructions I had for our stuff. In moving us in to our new home, they took the time to make sure all the big furniture pieces were where we wanted them and took the extra, incredibly considerate step of showing up w felt furniture pads and making sure they were placed on big items before setting them down. We are so thankful to 3E, and recommend them to all our friends and family. read more

3E were amazing. The day we moved, they arrived on time and in 90 mins they had loaded the van. The three young guys were terrific. Our things were in storage for 9 months. Absolutely no damage. The unloading into our new place also took 90 mins. and they had to carry a Peleton bike and a Clavinova to the second floor. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Their price was also very reasonable and the whole company was just so easy to work with. read more

Great team of resources to address your move. They were efficient , quick and professional. We highly recommend them.

These movers are amazing! I can't recommend them highly enough. I had to do my move in 2 parts, with the first move going from the house I sold to their storage facility, and then a month later having them move my furniture from storage into my new home. Price was very reasonable for the move and for monthly storage fees, and the men are very polite. They did such a good job - no damage to furniture or homes. They are very gentle with everything and very quick, too. They don't complain, and they were happy to move my furniture a couple of times in my house if I didn't like the location of it when it was first moved in. Make sure you tip them well - they deserve it! They were also flexible on the move time, which was important to me. They might fill up fast, so book them as soon as you know the date you are moving. read more

Where to begin with Mike Ellis and his family...3E moved us out of our home into a local storage facility and associated apartment in 2016 both quickly and professionally....sadly on short notice a few short years later Mike and his family helped move my wife's mother's personal effects from assisted living also into storage upon her passing....and lastly this past week Mike and his family moved my wife and I from New Hampshire to North Carolina.....yes we shopped for price estimates and maybe we paid a tiny bit more for 3E but at the end of the day the service and support we received from Mike, Zach, Matt and Kate along with their team of movers Frankie, Stephen, Keith, Rob, Brad and others helped make our multiple moves very smooth and very uneventful...we had no damage during any of our moves and the courtesy that was afforded my wife and I was greatly appreciated..I have told 3E they can use me as a reference any time. Thank you Mike and the 3E Team ! read more

If I could give them six stars, I would. I was moving from North Andover to Chelmsford and got three quotes. Theirs was the most fair. The movers were friendly and finished faster than expected. This was the least stressful part of our move and I can't recommend 3E highly enough. read more

This is a MUST choose company!!!! Don't even waste your time with other company's. I moved cross country from AZ to MA and chose a nightmare of a moving company. Long story short I told them not to bother having a bootleg crew on delivery. That I would take care of the labor. I called about 5-6 companies on a Fri afternoon looking for a crew to unload a semi truck on Mon afternoon. I was fortunate enough to have Kate at 3E get me all set up on the fly! She arranged for a crew of 6 to be at my house after the guys already had a full days work. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was night and day to the companies I had already spoke too. After already spending an arm and a leg on a company to bring my stuff East, I wasn't able to pay top dollar for another crew, albeit being my decision to do so. Their price was extremely competitive and had a ton of value being that they were able to provide 6 guys. Other companies were offering 2-3 for that day. Zach, the foreman showed up precisely as previously discussed and was INSTRUMENTAL in assisting me with a totally irrational driver of the semi my goods were on. This driver wanted us to unload 12,000lbs of goods across a street with a double yellow line! He could of easily pulled down the side street next to my house but refused saying he thought he would get a ticket. Zach was amazingly professional in convincing this irrational driver, parking on the side street was a much more reasonable plan..........that took almost 45min! Bravo Zach! The remaining 5 guys showed up like ninja's in the night once Zach apparently gave them the green light that we were finally ready. (I was VERY appreciative as most of you customer know movers charge by the hour!). These guys took a walk though the house to get a layout of the rooms and in 1:30min that semi was empty! I have never seen such amazing movers in my life. They were careful, thoughtful, a pleasure to be around and extremely fast! All of my stuff was on its appropriate level........including the garage there are 4 levels to the house. I honestly didn't know a company like this existed. They are clearly run with such great leadership from the top and it has spilled all the way down the food chain. They made what started as a nightmare move, something that was very stress free and gave us such a sense of relief. Thank you 3E for being something that most companies aren't.......a complete package! Please save yourself the time and aggravation of multiple quotes and let 3E take care of you. I would recommend these guys to anyone in a heartbeat. I'm renting for a year or 2 and will make 1 call when I move again. read more

We worked with a elderly friend who downsized from a home of 53 years and moved to a 55+ development. From the initial estimate by Mike to the packing and move itself, 3E Moving was exceptional. The packing crew was both sensitive to the situation and efficient in getting things packed up. The movers were on time, professional and had the truck loaded and then off-loaded in short order. What had been a dreaded chore became a pleasant memory. Having a family move a family home was such a win-win. Great job all of you! Thank you so much! read more

I would give 3E more stars if I could. The crew at 3E is phenomenal - extremely fast, friendly, very efficient, and well organized. They took every bit of stress out of the moving process and made it so much easier. Everything from getting the initial quote, to booking, packing and unloading was seamless. The move itself could not have gone smoother. The crew arrived on time, carefully wrapped our furniture, and worked incredibly fast. Everything was put in place with care, none of our belongings were damaged, and the crew was incredibly helpful and accommodating while we decided where certain boxes and furniture should go. I can't say enough about how awesome it was working with 3E and would recommend them to anyone. We're planning on moving again in 6 months and we'll definitely be calling 3E again. read more

3E Moving & Storage - Furniture doesn't fit up the stairs? No problem!!! :-) - Movers Near Me - North Chelmsford, Massachusetts

I had a terrific experience with 3E and absolutely recommend them, especially for people moving between Boston and New York. I moved last June on short notice after receiving a job offer, and they were the only company that would agree to move me. I was nervous about moving because I have a lot of fragile furniture including artwork, marble, and a large mirror, and had not moved in 6 years, but they took care of everything. It was easy to get in touch with them and communicate. Mike is an excellent leader. If I ever move again in New England they would be my first choice. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my recent experience. From start to finish the move went smoothly; I couldn't have asked for anything more. The 4 gentlemen were friendly, professional and treated our possession with great care. The final cost was less than the estimate, which was an added bonus. I, along with all my family members who helped to unpack and put things away all agreed that we would definitely recommend 3E to our friends/family. read more

Have used several moving companies both in the US and abroad and can honestly say that these guys are the best. We had 3 separate moves last weekend into 1 house and they nailed it. Put myself and my wife at ease from the outset, everything was packaged carefully and diligently. Everything was placed in the rooms it was labeled for and they even worked through reassembling some furniture for us. Cant rate these guys high enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any and all, would use them for any moving that we needed to do in the future also.
