I wanted to add a quick review on Kelly in the front office as she has been extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating during the time I have been storing at this facility. The facility is very clean with multiple entrances on three sides (dollies and carts are placed at each entrance). If you go after hours there are security keypads and security cameras. The prices are reasonable and it's conveniently located right off route 95 and is located on Boston Road (3A) in Burlington Center. I highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for safe and secure storage. read more

Amy was very helpful - I needed to switch unit to wider rather than deeper (same dimensions) - she showed me a few different units between both buildings helping find right fit for my needs - she also took time to explain contract/obligations, answer all my questions & discounted 2nd month rent - despite negative reviews about raised rates, she assured me no rate increase prior to 9 mos (plan very short term rental) I vetted storage facilities in city & burbs - this facility has excellent customer service, competitive rates (lower than any facility I found) & convenient, easily accessible location I also spoke with another female employee regarding reservation who was very helpful - unfortunately, I didn't catch her name I am very new to this facility but my experience so far is excellent read more

(Original Review from 11/5, 2 Stars) Warning to those of your doing your research on local storage facilities, as Judy S. mentioned in an earlier review, Storage Unlimited offers low teaser rates to prospective online customers and then once you have signed a contract and moved in all your things, they jack up your rent a few months later. I'd give them a one star review if it weren't for the local employees who were very helpful and courteous, and the fact that the facilities are in fact clean and modern. That said, it's extremely frustrating to have your rate increased a few months after you move in. The owners obviously know that a tenant likely won't endure the hassle of moving all of their belongings to a new facility as a result of paying an additional $20-$30 per month. They essentially are deceiving and robbing their current customers. Sad! Update, 11/10/2017: I was contacted by the manager of this facility (not corporate headquarters) who was disappointed to hear about my negative experience but also grateful for the compliment embedded within the review. She informed me that my rate would not be increasing until next May (one year after move-in) and was very willing to help with any other concerns I had. As a result, I've increased my rating and am including this update. Going forward, I hope that corporate re-considers these types of short term rent increases, will provide tenants with a much more advance notice (maybe 3 months instead of 1 month), and will wait until a tenant has been renting for at least a year before enacting a rent increase. read more

I have used this storage facility before, and am currently using them as well along with some other storage facilities in Arlington and Lowell. However this location has had a price increase of 21% month on month in a 6 month period. I was told that if there was an increase that it would be a 3-4% increase. Now I get told by the office manager that that is standard rate. How convenient. read more

This is an easy to get to Storage place in the quaint town of Burlington right near the town center. I'm amazed by the size and units that are available and at more than reasonable price. There are three entrances to this place with the one facing the road the main one where the office is. The office has plenty of packing and moving supplies for sale should anybody need it. I found the staff very pleasant to work with and they thoroughly explained the units and charges as well as policies. Keypads make entry to the place secure after hours and there are flat cart dollys readily available to help move stuff around. A large elevator makes getting between the two floors easy and there are cameras through out the facility. read more

I was put at ease as soon as I met Kelly and Stephanie who work the front office. They are extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. The facility is very clean. It's on one level with entrances on three sides (with dollies and carts at each entrance). If you go after hours there are security keypads to let you in, as well as security cameras. They also allow you to borrow a truck should you need it. The prices are reasonable and it's conveniently located right off Boston Road (3A) in Burlington. The manager at the Brighton UHaul is in serious need of customer service training. He took a simple issue and escalated it to a shouting match. He repeatedly talked over me, interrupted me, eventually yelling at me and walking off. If this was a regular occurrence for me, one might consider that I was the problem. I cannot recall a similarly negative customer experience in my life. I find U-Haul locations to be generally understaffed, and overly busy. I have experienced that U-Haul check in/out and payment systems can be slow and glitchy, both online and in person. It makes sense that the customer and employee can become frazzled as a result. That would be a good reason for U-Haul to provide customer service training to their employees, and hire and promote calm respectful problem solvers. The manager at this Brighton MA location was aggressive. I will not return there. I hope he receives help. U-Haul's near monopoly in the trailer rental business is unhealthy. They need competition to stimulate a greater respect for the customer. read more

We needed some storage for some scooters over the winter and chose this place because it was near by our business. I only needed it for a few months but was very happy with the whole experience. When signing up it was quick, easy, and pleasant. Anytime I needed to access my unit I would pull right up to the side door and just put my code in to get in. I cleaned my unit out a few days before the end of the month and then called to cancel. I was told the rep from the local unit would contact me because I was suppose to submit a 10 day vacate notice. Kelly from Storage Unlimited called me right back and said I was all set she had already went and swept out my unit and I wouldn't be charged again. Another convenient option was the automatic billing to my credit card each month and then I would receive and email confirmation. read more

I began using Storage Unlimited over 10 years ago and kept all my business equipment in a large 20x20 unit. It was extremely accessible on the first floor near the front door and just couldn't be easier to get to. The place is clean and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. When my daughter needed a unit for a couple of months, she was also able to get a unit easily and again the front desk staff made the process easy and there was a discount involved because I had a unit there myself. Anyways, I like that the units are temperature controlled and that you can get in and out using a code even if the office is closed. I've used other storage places int the past and this one had a much greater value for the money. read more

I began using storage here two years ago. I have a 10 by 20 unit. While happy with the facility, I am moving to another one, as my rate has been increased by $38.00 a month in just two years. They offer breaks to new customers at the expense of their current loyal customers. By the way, the $38 per month increase brings my rent $8-$20 more per month than any other place in the area. Also, once, my credit card changed and I forgot to give them the new one, so since I was 7 days overdue from the date I usually pay, I was charged a ridiculous fee of I believe around 35.00! And I dropped over there last week and the side door was completely blocked with no notice. Anyway, sad to have to leave but they are not loyal to customers. read more
