Everything was delicious I'm telling y'all! The wait was a little long but well worth it! I got the bbq pork Bahn mi, taro boba, baby egg rolls, taro buns and sesame balls. They were all delicious. I recommend getting the taro boba and the bbq pork Bahn mi! I might even come back and try out the beef or chicken Bahn mi! We moved to Central Valley from the Bay Area. We were so excited to see Vietnamese sandwich shop went there got a variety of sandwiches and other Vietnamese items was very disappointed. This spot has been around for so long that I am ashamed to have just come recently. However, I am glad I finally got to try it because they for sure have another local customer here! First off is the location. It isn't on the hottest part of Modesto. Off of Orangeburg Ave and Carver Rd right next to the gas station. The parking got me very confused as I pulled in and there is not a lot of parking. Make sure to come when there isn't a busy rush like lunchtime! Secondly is the inside. It is smaller than I thought. They have a little corner for snacks and a freezer full of foods. And low and behold, the spot to order. Their menu isn't very vast so don't expect a crazy of Vietnamese cuisines. They got their standard appetizers, some soups, and of course the banh mi sandwiches. The banh mi is a delicacy in Vietnam that can be eaten any time of day. Le Saigon have a great selection of sandwiches and I for sure struggled to choose which one I wanted. For me, I decided to get the #4, BBQ Pork. It was super delicious! They pack a TON of meat in here. There was a great amount of the pickled veggies and the sauce. I had to knockdown a star because I wish they added liver pate to it. Also, the sandwiches are quite small here compared to other typical Vietnamese sandwiches. I could probably eat three of them in one sitting to get my filling. For the price I would expect at least a decent size sandwich. But overall, it was still tasty. Would come back to try other sandwiches! read more

Had a bad experience buying their bahn mi sandwich here. The meat tastes old and smelled off. I try not to order here again for the bahn mi based on this first impression and will be my last even after considering how tempting it is to give them a second chance. I just couldn't eat the sandwich they made for me anymore. I spit out my first bite which I could not swallow due to the smell. I rather take the drive to viet noodle for future Vietnamese sandwich cravings they actually put meat in their sandwiches for $6.50 the egg rolls are not that delicious for the trip to lee's. The young lady behind the counter was very attentive and very nice - excellent service. The place is on the small size and very clean. So not a great place to eat for groups but if it is you and a few friends - there are some tables to sit at. The food here is very tasty and fresh. I had a bbq pork sandwich. I asked for extra jalapeños as I like spicy food. The bread was fresh and perfect with a crunchy crust with a soft interior. The Bbq pork was tender and had a touch of sweetness to counter the heat of the jalapeño slices. I love Vietnamese sandwiches because besides the tasty meat is the fresh and flavorful veggies in it. I loved the sandwich and the fresh flavors that burst into your mouth when eating one of these. The bbq pork sandwich I had here was perfect - I highly recommended this place if you like Vietnamese or southeast Asian flavors. I used to love this place for their sandwiches, egg rolls and shakes. But today's visit was a disappointing one. The prices have gone up dramatically (almost doubled), it's the pandemic, produces are expensive, I totally understand. The service is interesting, after I ordered on the phone, I asked for a total to bring cash, I was told "I am not at the register, I don't have a total". This customer service person didn't read my order back to confirm, when I went to pick up my order, they only got 3 out of my 4 sandwiches, I had to reorder the 4th sandwich. Finally, when my order was ready, I asked if everything is in it, he said "Yes". After a 50 min drive home, I found out that my Fried Banana is missing which I have paid for. I called the store back to tell them to check the orders before giving to the customers. They said "Ok". If a take-out place charges as much as a restaurant does, then step up to provide a better customer service. AT LEAST, GET THE ORDER RIGHT. I was really craving some bomb ass Bahn Mi and I found this place on Yelp. Never heard or knew of this place before but thought we could give it a try. This place was lind of difficult to find because the GPS was trying to take me through a back alley which I thought it was weird. The business only had 2 parking in the front of the business, we had to park in the back of the business close to the alleyway. After we entered the business, we reviewed the menu and ordered 4 cold cut bahn mi sandwiches with extra meat and extra paté. We were informed it would takr about 10 minutes so we waited inside and looked around. This place had a small little section where they sold asian cooking ingredietns. They didnt really have a dining area where you can sit and enjoy your food. They have a table lined up around the wall with some chairs. We figured its a business for order and pick up. Our order was ready, we grabbed it then left. We couldn't wait to sink our teeths into our sandwiches, the smell and the thought of how good it was made my mouth watered. As soon as we got home, I unraveled my sandwich. WOW!! The sandwich was huge. It was packed with all the veggie fixings, there was extra meat and extra paté like I ordered. Most places that I have gone to in the past have failed me when I ordered extra things, but not Le Saigon. The bread was fresh, toasted perfectly, it had the nice crunch, and it was soft on the inside. My boyfriend and my two boys enjoyed it. I wish I had taken photos before we consumed it all at one sitting. This place is a gem, a little hole in the wall. I will definitely travel to this place again when Im craving a yummy Bahn Mi.
