Unfortunately this location is just consistently not good. I return due to the convenience of the location, but after my last visit I will not be coming back. My noodles in my pho were hard (clearly old/sitting out), and the broth is consistently lacking flavor. The service and people working there are very kind, so two stars for that. read more

Food: I ordered the chicken Bánh mì and the deep-fried shrimp rolls to go. The shrimp rolls were hot, crispy, and made a good appetizer. The chicken Bánh mì, however, fell short. The chicken was much sweeter than I expected, and the portion was noticeably small -- the sandwich felt hollow. On top of that, the chicken pieces that were included were tough and chewy, making it hard to enjoy. With multiple locations in the area, I was expecting better. They do have a wide variety of other dishes like pho and vermicelli bowls, but based on this first impression, I'm hesitant to try more of the menu. Service: Service was genuinely friendly. The staff greeted me right away, took my order quickly, and had my food ready faster than I expected -- great for a to-go visit. No issues here. Atmosphere: The restaurant is large, open, and casual -- a comfortable space for a sit-down meal. The dining area looked clean, and the layout makes it easy to dine in groups or grab a quick solo meal. Friendly service we tried the gyoza and the Bahn Mi pork. Really good. Crunchy bread good ratio of meat to pickled veggies. The ambiance was upscale casual and very pretty love the decorations and lots of space for big parties a lunch rush or even a cute little date night. One of the better bahn mi places out here (there's none in the town we live in ) so it's a real treat to try something delicious ! read more

Really shocked at my visit here. Thought this place was good before. Last time I visited, the wait time was excessive and they weren't even packed. And the prices are not worth it anymore. $17 not incurring tax and tip for shaken beef which is mostly rice and only a few pieces of beef. Very disappointing. The Pho, 4500 Dale Road, Suite D, In Modesto, had 14 violations during an inspection on Aug. 19, which was the result of a complaint. Four of the violations were major. The complaint alleged the meatballs did not look as expected and tasted spoiled. Packages of meatballs were defrosting on a shelf in the middle of the kitchen (improper thawing method). Potentially hazardous foods were being fried in bulk and placed on a shelf at room temperature. The facility lacked adequate hot-holding equipment. A tray of cooked chicken on a table had an internal temperature of 52 degrees (must be 135 degrees or higher). Food handlers were unable to adequately wash and dry their hands due to the lack of single-use paper towels. Shrimp was thawing in the ware-washing sink. Employees were rinsing their hands at this same sink. A container of milk was stored in one ice machine and a bottle of syrup was stored in another. Ice in both machines is meant for drinks. A cook top that is not under the mechanical ventilation hood was being used to cook noodles, and a countertop fryer not under the mechanical ventilation hood was being used to fry egg rolls. The walls and ceiling above the fryer were coated in grease. Several not-food-grade containers were being used to hold food. One container lacked a lid and another had a damaged lid. A ceiling panel was missing in the kitchen. Food handler cards for most employees and a food safety certificate were not available. The permit to operate was not posted in public view. My team and I had a big project to finish over the weekend so we all decided we would be working throughout the day until project got done. That means meals will be eaten while working. On friday night I ordered a Pho Ga thinking i will reheat the broth and everything will be ready to go. I asked for extra basil and it was written on my ticket. When I went to pick up my food I asked for the basil again and the guy insisted it was in the bag. I asked for sriacha, hoison and chilli sauce. "its all in there" he says. When the time comes to heat up the food I discover theres no sauce and no basil. He put in bean sprouts instead. I had to step away from our project to get food that day. To my surprise, the bill showed a $5 upcharge--I was expecting just a couple of dollars. The spring rolls were fresh and tasted okay, but the pork was the issue. It was cool and had an unusual texture and flavor, though still passable. I also ordered a small beef combination pho. While it came with plenty of beef, the broth was lacking in flavor, which was disappointing. Overall, a $30 lunch I wasn't expecting, and unfortunately, I don't see myself returning. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and there were plenty of seats. Pho, Chicken wings, and fried rice... the pho was okay could've done better with providing the extras like bean sprouts and limes but they only gave cilantro and onion.. i ordered fried rice and received white rice.. the wings were so disappointing. i have pictures!! called a bunch of times as well to see if i can get at least my fried rice but i wish i could just cancel it from my card but i paid with applepay so i cant but i definitely deserve a refund. your lucky to receive two stars. read more

Nothing is labeled for take out and they just sit at look at you and expect you to open every box and figure it out yourself.. We came here around 7:30 on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant had a lot of open seating. The waitress was attentive and brought us waters right away. We ordered 2 #4s (filet and meatballs), one small and one large. Food took five min max. Even with the small, they were generous with the meat. The noodles were ok, nothing special. I use to like coming to this restaurant until I had 2 bad experiences there with my man . The first time was when there was literally ANTS all over the booth we were sitting in , ON ME . The employee didn't want to refund us . He offered to sit us somewhere else but like be foreal this just ruined my appetite. He told us to "just pay for it" like give us the refund and move on . So ridiculous . I really like this place so I was disappointed but I gave it another try because maybe it was just a bad day idk. I went with my sister during lunch & I ordered egg rolls .
