The chicken was much sweeter than I expected, and the portion was noticeably small -- the sandwich felt hollow. On top of that, the chicken pieces that were included were tough and chewy, making it hard to enjoy. With multiple locations in the area, I was expecting better. They do have a wide variety of other dishes like pho and vermicelli bowls, but based on this first impression, I'm hesitant to try more of the menu. Service: Service was genuinely friendly. The staff greeted me right away, took my order quickly, and had my food ready faster than I expected -- great for a to-go visit. No issues here. Really shocked at my visit here. Thought this place was good before. Last time I visited, the wait time was excessive and they weren't even packed. And the prices are not worth it anymore. $17 not incurring tax and tip for shaken beef which is mostly rice and only a few pieces of beef. Very disappointing. My team and I had a big project to finish over the weekend so we all decided we would be working throughout the day until project got done. That means meals will be eaten while working. On friday night I ordered a Pho Ga thinking i will reheat the broth and everything will be ready to go. I asked for extra basil and it was written on my ticket. When I went to pick up my food I asked for the basil again and the guy insisted it was in the bag. I asked for sriacha, hoison and chilli sauce. "its all in there" he says. Stopped in for lunch and ordered a spring roll with pork and shrimp. I was informed there would be a slight upcharge for the shrimp, which I agreed to without asking how much. To my surprise, the bill showed a $5 upcharge--I was expecting just a couple of dollars. The spring rolls were fresh and tasted okay, but the pork was the issue. It was cool and had an unusual texture and flavor, though still passable. I also ordered a small beef combination pho. While it came with plenty of beef, the broth was lacking in flavor, which was disappointing. Overall, a $30 lunch I wasn't expecting, and unfortunately, I don't see myself returning. I'm not sure what's going on with this place but they need to get it together. The two new kids they have working the front counter don't know what they are doing. Nothing is labeled for take out and they just sit at look at you and expect you to open every box and figure it out yourself.. Absolutely fire pho spot. The broth tastes like it's been cooked the right way for hours -- rich, flavorful, and not watered down like a lot of places try to get away with. The meat was fresh, portions were solid, and everything came out hot and fast. Staff was super friendly and kept checking in without being annoying. Look the vermicelli bowls are good. Everything else is adequate. I only come in a pinch because it's close to work. The servers are nice. But I think the leadership/ownership is lacking. Below is a bowl of egg drop soup. If there is even a teaspoon (not even a tablespoon) of egg in here I would be amazed. I use to like coming to this restaurant until I had 2 bad experiences there with my man . The first time was when there was literally ANTS all over the booth we were sitting in , ON ME . The employee didn't want to refund us . He offered to sit us somewhere else but like be foreal this just ruined my appetite. He told us to "just pay for it" like give us the refund and move on . So ridiculous . I really like this place so I was disappointed but I gave it another try because maybe it was just a bad day idk. I went with my sister during lunch & I ordered egg rolls . I'm sorry to say, but I didn't enjoy my bowl of pho or the spring rolls. It might just be my personal preference, but the soup tasted watered down to me. As for the spring rolls, I found there were too many noodles and unexpected carrots, which wasn't what I anticipated.
