Love love love this place. I live in LA but when I come to Houston I go there every time. Kristina Is better than anyone that I have used in Los Angeles. I had a diamond fall off and she replaced it quickly and for free even while she had another client that she was working on. She is by appointment only, she's usually very busy but she's worth the wait. All you have to do is call and schedule with her. The prices are fair and it's a family run business. read more

The pedicure by T is amazing and the family is friendly (a little pushy) but that's about it. I got a full set and they started lifting 4 days later. I went against my better judgement so I'm partially to blame. If you need a pedicure I highly recommend but do not get your nails done! read more

Worst experience ever. They were very rude and I was unable to pick a color for my set so I went with just white tip. It wasn't a tip, half of my nail was white and every single nail was filed crooked. She also cut me and put some blue liquid on it and laugh when I said ouch. She also burned me a few times when she was buffing my nails with the buffer. Then they fell off a week later. I would not waste your money here. read more

I went to this location because of the last comments and I was very disappointed. The lady that did my pedi couldn't speak any English and had to ask another employee for help every time I talked to her. She dug in my cuticles and made me bleed. Then the other tech came to do my gel polish and I showed her the pic of what I wanted which I'll post what I wanted and what I got. No where near what I wanted. The tech that was supped to paint my nails started cutting my cuticles more. It was getting painful the she made me bleed more and put some blue stuff on it and said it be ok. Today is the day after an when I walk my toes are so sore. I am praying I don't get an infection. Also I paid $38 for a spa pedi and I was expecting hot towel wraps and rock massage because that what I've always gotten in every other solan nope all I got was the pedi then some lotion rubbed on my legs. Ugh this was such a waist of money and time. Here I am going to my fathers funeral and I am regretting spending the money on trying to relax because now I'm even more stressed. read more

When I moved to spring many years ago I went to several places before I walked into Le Monde Nails & I have been a customer since. Everyone is so friendly after a while you feel like family. For many years I got the acrylic nails done and now I do shellac my daughter also refuses to go anywhere else to get her eyebrows done. I have never left unsatisfied with the work they do or the customer service. I am constantly asked where I get my nails done and I am always happy to refer them to La Monde. read more

Price not cheap with a rush serivce and nails done just not professional enough. I very much regret to spend lots of money there on my nails. Staffs are just behave ok but not very polite. read more

I moved to this area from Atascocita about two months ago and I am in utter shock at the lack of professional, clean, pampering nail salons. I read positive reviews and decided to try LaMonde. Looks nice enough upon arrival and my mom and I had high hopes this would be our new place, seeing as we have been driving back 30 minutes to our normal place. Lack of options when it comes to polish colors but they have a good amount of options for shellac. Massage chairs were nice, nail techs were not. Not only are they incredibly short and rude when speaking to customers but they acted as though they were inconvenienced by our being there. I told them I didn't like my cuticles to be cut, only pushed back. Their reply was "well what DO you want?" I told them I wanted a manicure... but no cuticles cut. She said "I know." Okay then. I wasn't given a hand or arm massage either! That's a routine part of any manicure. As for the pedicure, I asked for one of their higher priced pedicures with extra massage and what I got the lowest price pedicure, 1 minute massage on each leg and a snarky "ask first if you want special" when I asked why my pedicure lasted only ten minutes. They used the cheese grater on my feet and were clipping skin around my toes that was painful (and also illegal. I am a licensed cosmetologist and it is unlawful to use these tools on living skin.) Asked them to stop, no response. Still kept going. No hot towel, no relaxing massage, no hot wax... At the checkout I gave them my debit card and when I went to sign and (reluctantly) add a tip, the lady said "you don't sign for debit card." And rolled her eyes. Please note there is not a sign saying that tips should be added onto the cards prior to running them. I didn't have cash. So no tip for the rude ladies at La Monde nails. I would rather drive 30 minutes for excellent service at the same price. Better luck with your other returning customers who I guess don't know good service because of this area. If I could give a negative star I would , I hate confrontation and I'm never rude but when I walked in and asked for a full set and pedicure one of the workers shuck her head in disappointment and said no we can do only one and I was embarrassed because of her attitude after me asking nicely , point is even if I walked in at 6:20 it's customer service I felt so embarrassed. I work at a bank and we take customers to the last seconded and yes including opening accounts at the last seconded. Never ever been embarrassed before but I guess there's a first for everything ! Do not ever go to this nail salon! I went last weekend with a friend so that I could treat them to some pampering for their upcoming birthday. I regret that I ever went. After reading some of the comments on this same page of people that were unhappy about the service that was given, I could really relate, because the same thing happened to me. I told them the service that I want and do NOT cut my cuticles. The response I got was as another woman said, "It's ok baby, just relax". How can I relax when you are butchering my friend and I?!! That was this past Saturday and my friend and I's feet and hands are still sore! I told my friend that these folks must think we are coalminers or we have been running through rocks or something because they are very rough. Beware of this place. If you have a sick fetish of being mutilated and cut, because both my friend and I were bleeding when we left, this is the place for you. This was by no means even close to being a relaxing experience. This experience was very upsetting to me, not only because my friend and I were mutilated, but this was a birthday gift. Got my nails done just recently and I have to say, Wendy, even though she can have a bit of an attitude, did an amazing job. She shaped them so my fingers seemed slimmer (which is rare since my fingers are like sausages) and they came out very smooth. I've been to a few places where the acrylic base is lumpy. The prices are very good. $25 was the outcome (I got a regular square shape which is just $22 but I got matte so it was an extra $3) and my sisters total was also $25 (she got a coffin shape and a regular glossy topcoat so no extra charges on hers). This place would've received a solid 5 if it wasn't for the long wait (this was on a weekend but they are kinda on short staff considering they're are only 4 people there and 2 do pedicures) and one comment Wendy made, she made a somewhat rude remark on how I wanted matte on white (I only wanted matte because I'm a nail bitter and the shininess make me want to pick at them yet when they're matte I find they stay on longer). Overall she did an amazing job. My sister had Christina and seemed in awe by how great she did (considering our normal place is $10 more and never meets our expectations). This place is great and I'll most likely come again for a refill! read more

My first visit to Le Monde Nails was about 2 weeks ago with my daughter, we both got Mani/Pedi, the staff was very nice, so I decided to go back so I made an appointment on a saturday and the lady that sits at the desk started my mani and I asked her to square my nails and she could clip them if she needed to, well she did just that, so I kept thinking when is she going to file them and get rid of these pointy corners, well she didn't, so off to the chairs for my pedi, so I asked her could she shape my nails up and make the corners a lil softer, she SIGHED, so I said I can do it while you work on my pedi, she said " whatever makes you happy" So I shaped my nails and did a pretty good job, she then said "you happy" and I said VERY. On to the pedi, it was going goood until I realized that I had a split or chip on my big toe, I noticed it because the polish wasn't smooth so I asked her was that a chip,she said "yes" and continued to polish over it. Now I usually don't put up with such terrible service and I can't tell you why i did, But I will NEVER EVER go back. someone else mention the tools not being sterilized, I dont recall seeing the tools come out of a package just out of a drawer.
