I am pretty disappointed to write this review. I came in last Sunday (7/24) with my daughter for a kids mani/pedi and a shellac mani/pedi for me. They were pretty busy- but we had an appointment and had to wait for a little while, which is really not a big deal. My daughter was enjoying her experience and my pedi was great. But then my manicure came and was horrible. I reached out on Facebook because I didn't want to post a bad review but just got "thanks for letting us know". I am not sure if there is new management?? But this place used to be great and really took pride in their work. For the price my shellac mani should last more than a week but with how messy it was walking out I knew it wouldn't last. The first time I came here it was great. It has gotten progressively worse, every time I've come. This was my fourth and final time coming. Just paid $45 for a gel fill and $60 for an organic pedicure. Neither was good but the full was the worst. On the pedicure, I did not get my full massage. You're supposed to get 15 min foot and 5 min shoulder. I don't like the shoulder massage and told the tech I didn't want it. Every other time they've tacked that 5 minutes on to my foot massage for a total of 20 minutes. Not today. Today, I didn't even get the full 15 min. I got about 10 minutes. Also, I only got one coat of polish. I asked if I'd get two coats. The tech said "yes" , then put the topcoat on. I can only assume she thought she did two coats. However, she only did one. I can see my nail bed through the polish. The $45 full is the messiest I've ever seen. My nails are all uneven and all a different shape even though I asked her to even my nails out and I showed her a picture of the shape. There is polish all over my nail beds and on my fingers. This is gel polish. I had to ask her to redo one of them because it was so bad. I'm just dealing with the rest. I won't be back. It's too expensive for shoddy work. 2nd visit, easily made appt. w/ Nicole for a new set, to include soaking off my current nails. I got there a few minutes early, waited maybe 5 min. before I saw Nicole and she waved me over. I had a picture of what I wanted to try...I'm still trying to find a shape I like. She immediately got to work, but only did a fill. Not sure why and I was a little pressed for time, so I went with it. I love this shape and Nicole did a great job! Her attention to detail on the shaping is great, I enjoyed watching her work! But... There are a few things that miss the mark.... First visit, completely changed the shape, although she fixed it. Then my accent nail on one hand didn't get the top coat, so the metallic polish rubbed off within hours. Second visit, no new set as scheduled. All of these are little things that really don't bother me, but add up. Especially when a fill costs 65 bucks with a 10.00 tip! That seems high to me actually, now that I think about it....hmmmm. I wanted to change my color a couple times, since it wasn't the exact shade of evergreen i wanted. I'm not happy at all. I went and had a new set less than a month ago. Earlier this week One of my nails cracked and I went and had it fixed and asked them to check and repair any other problems. It was only the one nail that needed repair. Now that nail is cracked in the same place and I have a crack in my thumb. I'm not hard on my nails. This is ridiculous. Update: I received a generic response and I replied, but there was no follow up with communication. Obviously they don't value their customers. Attached are photos of the cracks in my nails at spot where the tips are glued on. The set was improperly put on. I asked for a proper apex to support the nail. The solar was unevenly applied and the repairs that I paid for weren't done properly. Also their tech didn't even file my nails correctly. They are uneven. I went to another salon in the area and my toe polish was chipping and my powder full set was falling apart. So it's time for a new nail salon and I found myself here based on reviews. I called to ask if there was a wait. The gentleman on the phone said there was not but they were getting a lot of walk-ins. The location was busy but it's an organized busy. I didn't see colors that matched but Tammy showed me a swatch that had powder, gel and regular. I only do regular on my toes. Tammy did not insist on that I get gel on my toes like I read on other reviews. Which is great because a that's a hard no for me. The price for a deluxe pedicure is $35 which includes a stone massage. The signature pedicure is $27. They also have more expensive pedicures. Ann did my nails and she is a sweet. The technicians actually remember how I prefer my nails to be done. I can fall asleep and wake up and my nails are just the way I like them every time. It reminds me of a very quaint social club, where the regulars get together there and chat and mingle. I've networked and made some wonderful friends there. They even serve complimentary beverages Juice, Wine or real cocktails. My favorite is the 'margarita with watermelon chunks'. The bar tender is great! so REMEMBER to tip her, she earns her tips for sure. They host parties also. No worries! the decor is fabulous! your friends will love it! This salon is always busy but never compromises quality work for expedient service. I've seen several technicians here and all have been very professional and skilled. I absolutely love to see Van at the front desk as soon as I walk in. She always remembers me, greets me with a smile and address me by name. Drink service is a must. They have a nice menu of services and beverages (adult and child friendly) and always serve a small portion of fresh, seasonal fruits. Never been to a nail salon like this before. But let me get to the nails!!! I recommend them all but I have to sing the praises of Louis and Jason, specifically. Jason is methodical and relaxing when doing the best pedicures. I drove 30 minute out of my way to come to this place before my flight because it had good reviews. When I arrived, the guy doing my toe nails whips out an electric drill to grind my old gel off. I have never seen this done before.. looked around and they were doing the same thing to the girl next to me. I have extremely thin toe nails and this was such an unnecessary step. I didn't realize the repercussions of this until afterwards when I got home. The electric drill drilled through my entire nail and caused it to split at the nail bed. I am probably now going to have an extremely painful ingrown toenail which I will have to go to a doctor to remove. I will never go here again. This nail salon needs to take the time and do it right and soak peoples gel off their nails like every other salon. Not to mention when I kept saying ouch.. the guy just kept going back at it. I was not relaxed at all during my pedicure. I definitely feel as though this is refund worthy.
