I recently moved back to Houston after living in Garden Grove, CA for the past five years. I came in today for a new set of builder gel with cat eye, which totaled $92. I don't mind paying that price when my nails come out great. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. The technician (I believe his name was Steven, based on the name on the UV lamp) cut multiple fingers with the drill during the service. I left with sore cuticles and small cuts, which is disappointing. This made my time in the chair very uncomfortable. I understand that staff can change, but my experience here was incredibly disappointing. I came in asking to have my nails--done at another salon--simply cut down and reshaped so I could type more easily. Instead of a polite explanation or concern, the male receptionist responded in a rude and aggressive manner. He went on and on about not wanting to be held accountable for work done elsewhere and assumed I would blame them if something went wrong. I made it clear I wasn't looking for perfection--just a simple cut down--but he continued to escalate the situation unnecessarily. The young woman at the desk had already kindly offered to help me and find a tech, but she was clearly flustered after his reaction. Came in today it was a 30 min wait , the front girl told us to wait. Three customers came in a couple with their daughter ? Right away served them drinks and several during this time. Also my mother's pedicure looked horrible The lady who did it was rough and rude. Thank god Alex did her nails and he pretty much re did her feet and added a nail ( also suggested it because her big toe nail was short ) . I had my nails done with Tea and she's AMAZING! I have been coming here for quite a while and haven't really met someone with such good attitude, very friendly & outgoing and just made my experience amazing! If it wasn't for Alex and Tea I'd be super annoyed with this visit due to lack of customer service from front desk, and the ladies who did my mother & I pedicure. The one who did mines was nice but very much rushing ( it was busy I understand but I'm also a paying customer) and the older lady who did my mothers toes I wish I would've taken a picture to show how awful they looked. I came in as a walk-in customer. I decided to try a new place closer to me than my regular nail salon. When you first walk in, you're welcomed by a plethora of nail color choices as the dividing wall. Dip and powder choices are to your left at the bar area. While choosing a color, Jessica offered me a drink - water, soda, wine, mimosa. I opted for a mimosa, which was served in a champagne flute glass. Jessica brought it to me as I was seated in the massage chair for a pedicure. Before the pedicure started, the nail tech gave me a menu pricing and asked me which one I wanted. I went with the basic classic spa pedicure, which was $26. I loved that they used individually packaged nail tools for pedicures. The eucalyptus cream felt nice and cooling as she massaged my legs. They got very busy with walk-in customers and 1-2 people who made appointments. I almost felt like she rushed the pedicure toward the end, but it still looked nice. I waited about 10 minutes before a nail tech was able to do my dip powder manicure. Other customers sat waiting with their feet dipped in the pedicure chair, while my same tech finished my manicure. I did notice that they changed their water to make it warm again, so that's a nice gesture for waiting. Lonnie did my dip powder manicure beautifully. I had shellac gel on my nails, so she had to remove the polish first with the electric tool. She was very careful to go through near my cuticles/skin everytime she had to use it. My soft white color choice came out nice, and she kept my rounded square nail shape. I just wished that for $40, they'd also include the basic manicure of cleaning up the cuticles. Overall, my experience was great. My total was about $60-65 for a dip powder manicure and classic spa pedicure. I got 10% off for checking in on Yelp. I love that you get a stamp for each visit, and when you get to your 12th visit, you get $15 off. If my dip powder doesn't crack like the other place I usually go to, I'll come here again for a manicure but this time with an appointment! I prefer the spa pedicure at my usual place due to pricing, quality, service, and more comfortable massage chairs. read more

I use to loooooooove this place. Not so much anymore. I went in today for my usual pedicure and eyebrow wax. My pedicure looks like my 8 year old niece did it and my eyebrows are horrible. I've been coming here for about 2 years now. I literally drove 40 min to this salon because I no longer live in the area. It was a total waste of time and money. On top of that, the lady that did my pedicure and eyebrows would call out the price of every service and repeat the price while she's doing the service.
