In my effort to find a new nail salon, I decided to give this one a try because I only had a few hours before I needed to attend an event and needed a pedicure. When I looked at the pictures it looked like it would have enough technicians and seats for me to get in and get out. My tech was Michael and he was thorough and polite. When I wasn't initially offered a drink, he was able to get me one. I liked that they had a variety of clients and treatment services - I saw everything from mothers & daughters, married couples, singles, and one woman had a full spa treatment with masks, massages, etc. while I was there. I was relaxed just looking at her techs in action. I had been in the yard that day so my nails were haggard so I actually got a manicure as well. I warned Michael that I am prone to bleeding so he took extreme care when clipping my cuticles and I appreciated that. He also removed all the dirt from my nails which wasn't easy. And when I accidentally bumped my nails, he quickly fixed it for me and gave me plenty of time to dry them before I left to avoid another incident. I wasn't thrilled with the selection at the front of the store and was trying to find a bottle that I thought could sustain a pedicure and manicure - he assured me there was enough and it was. I am very disappointed in this nail salon. They write in their own tips. DO NOT COME HERE. I heard that this place was discriminatory, but my family convinced me to give it a try. I came in and the decor looked lovely. The staff was nice and helpful. I came in for a pedicure and they continually asked if I wanted a full set. I do my own nails, but when I don't I go to a nail tech. I shouldn't have to explain that to an employee, no should be enough. I wanted to get the classic pedicure, but they harassed me until I upgraded the pedicure. After 5 different employees asked me, I gave in. I got white shellac for my toes and the pedicure actually felt good. My grandmother also got a pedicure and a manicure. They laughed and pointed at my grandmother when we walked in. They were pointing at her while speaking Vietnamese, which was very offensive. Overall, I was going to give them a 3 star review. My pedicure came to $69, which I paid in cash. My grandmother's total was $87 and she paid with her card. We didn't realize it until the next day, but we noticed she was overcharged. The bill was $87 and the lady wrote in $87 on the tip. My grandmother's card was charged a total of $174. She tried to contact them, but they said they did not remember her even though she was there yesterday. Very unprofessional. I came in for an acrylic dipped coffin-shaped full set and the technician initially told me she couldn't do it. Frustrating at first, because I've gotten it before. After going back and forth to seek understanding about why she couldn't do it, I finally understood it depends on the length. Since I wanted a shorter (looks long to me) full set, she was able to use dip powder after all. Whew! From there things went smoothly and I was happy with how my nails came out. I booked an appointment the day before and was glad to get in with Amy. I was running late due to an accident on I45 & 610, but Chloe was so nice and told me to just call when I'm 15-20 mins away. I was only 5 mins. late. Amy was double booked, but I didn't mind waiting. I got to chat with Amy's client about working in schools and FaceTime. I wasn't in a hurry. Chloe was attentive and made sure I was ok and often asked if I wanted a beverage. I've been looking for a nail salon with dried flowers since my best friend showed me hers that she got done in the Cypress area. My go-to salon near me in The Heights (Milano) didn't have that. Naturally, I Pinterested something to show Amy. My nails came out so beautiful with the ombré and dried flowers. I would definitely book another appointment with Amy. She's patient, detailed, and an artist in her craft. Chloe mentioned she may only have 5 clients/day because of that. There's a 7-day policy if your nail gets ruined, and you want to get it fixed. One drawback is the credit card fee of $1.50. Carry cash if you don't want that fee. Restrooms are so clean, and there's plenty of parking. read more

DONT BOTHER TO GO HERE!! When I got there I requested a pedicure, a soak off, overlay, and a kids pedicure. so the front person call somebody from the back to take us back to start on our pedicures. Once we sit down the same person in the front comes back and asked my son to move out the chair because those chairs are for customers only mine. I requested a pedicure for him that bothered me. So someone starts on mine and they start talking among each other in their language, but I'm not dumb. My nails are long in the inside and I tell him no not to cut my nails because I'm doing a soak off because I'm getting over late and trying to communicate back-and-forth, there's another person getting ready to do my son's feet mind you this person took five minutes on my son's pedicure that pissed me off because they only wash his feet and do clear polish. Like what the fuck you didn't you did a half ass job. I've been to other places that I actually soak their feet and if it was extra money, they could've just asked me and I would've said OK that pissed me off so this man cut all my nails so I couldn't even get an overlay. I told him to stop and just soak my nails and he just got mad and left and left me with those foils on my finger. I didn't wanna make a scene because I have my son with me so the only thing I just started bawling like my tears just came out because I was so upset. I definitely recommend Cricket for your nails. I got an overlay on my real nails and she made it look like my own not acrylic. Love them!! On the down side it's a little warm in the shop the a/c could be set a little cooler and the pricing on having your toes polished with gel polish was a little high for my liking.
