Will not be back. My friend and I made appointments for mani/pedis a week prior and when we got there she waited for over half an hour to be helped. No one came to aknowledge her, it was pretty awkward. They also did not ask her what scent she wanted for her pedicure massage, they just gave her the same scent as me. I wanted a specialty manicure, all dip, all matte except one nail, one glittery, one star. I told the gentleman this several times. He made all matte and one glossy and was like ok done. I said no thats not what I asked for. He said he doesn't draw stars then laughed at me. I told him then find someone who does. Someone who I assume was the manager came over and drew not good stars on me and put the glitter on the nail I asked for also. At this point I was like ok whatever I just want to go. Then she proceeded to put glossy on all my nails and I was like noooooooo. So they had to take that off and make them matte again. Two more things to note...they did not social distance me, they put me right next to someone when I sat down, and also never once asked me to wash my hands. Come to find out, a manicure is not included when they do your nails. Every other place I've been they automatically do this. And my manicure is too thick. First and last time my friend and I will be back. I feel like there is a language barrier in play here, idk how else it could be this bad. read more

Super painful pedicure that ripped my skin so much I couldn't wear shoes after or the next day. Also, I told the lady doing my pedicure to cut my nails shorter three times. They are crooked, too. I just gave up and let her finish. It also took them over 1 1/2 hours to give me a shellac manicure and pedicure. I go every other week at another nail salon, but I thought I would try something new. Mindy took her time with my feet & I greatly appreciate coming & relaxing without feeling like they are rushing their staff. Both ladies were very sweet & nice. I highly recommend these two ladies if you would like to book appointments. I know next time I will be booking prior to coming just to make sure I can have both of these ladies again. Nails are ok. Had a few sets done here. I came back bc I had a decent experience with my first visit /set which were all matte black. (I'll post those too) I wouldn't come back for chrome nails though. Had them done 3 times here and every time they came out uneven or bubbly. No attention to detail. the foundation of the acrylic wasn't smooth completely from filing & buffing before applying the chrome so the mirror effect emphasized all of the imperfections My most recent visit I asked for short nails with corners and got one sloppy corner and the other side look rounded. I had to go home and file it myself bc even my boyfriend said it looked "stumpy". I didn't want to ask for corrections bc I had already been sitting there two hours and had other things to do. The first time I came here it was horrible. They didn't offer to clean my nails or shape them. Kevin went straight for the dip...smh. Once I realized he wasn't going to clean them, I asked and he said it would be an extra charge and didn't know if I wanted to pay for them.........First off I don't know of ANY salon who charges "extra" to clean my nails....second YOU CAN ASK! So of course he cleans my nails HALF way through being done.....no he did not take the dip off, yes there were HUGE bubbles in between layers and no he did not clean them correctly. So of course 6 days later I come back and he doesn't remember he did my nails so I reminded him after he was baffled at how bad my nails looked not even a week later. He said, "oh no, who did your nails?!" I said, "You." Lol so he went on to "fix" them. GIRL!! They were even worse. I gave up. Loved my toes so I came back a couple months later. This is the third time that I've gotten my nails and feet done here and it will be the last. My nails are uneven, lumpy acrylic and gel chipped on the second day and I am not rough with my hands. Also, the lady doing my nails argued with me about the shape I wanted the entire time. Las time I checked, the customer chooses the shape not the nail tech..? Also, my feet...I paid $60 for a pedicure and I still have dead skin around my toes and my heels look terrible. The man that did my feet barely took any dead skin off of the bottom of feet/heels. I'm only giving this place 2 stars because the ladies that worked on me were nice. Other than that their services pretty poor quality. To be transparent, I've only gotten my lashes done here. Not my nails. And even that, I cannot believe I trusted them working on my lashes because my real lashes were in such poor condition that it took 1.5 months for them to grow back (and this is because my lashes actually grow fast) so I wouldn't recommend coming here for lashes at all. I got their volume set, and when my (now) lash technician took the set off, she took a picture of the clumps of glued on pre set lashes that they used on me. I understand that I don't have as many lashes as most people and am asking for a volume set but this does not mean they should layer a bunch of clumps together. And the amount of glue being used made my eyelids itch cause it was rubbing up again it every time I blink. With the amount paid, you can find better quality and techniques elsewhere! read more

I believe this is unlike any nail salon I've been in. I don't think anybody should go here to get there nails and feet done if u want the owner of the store yelling at u or her employees. And the price of shellac is outrageous,$18? Even when I said I didn't want it the technician put it on me anyways, and yet I still had to pay for it. I don't recommend this salon. I went for a face wax yesterday, the lady literally ripped my skin off. The last two times I went for a full set, they acted like I was invisible and the work looked like my 12 year old had done my nails. The only reason I went back is because it's the closest place to my apartment and I had a flat tire. My face still burns as if it was just now done!! My usual place is Herbal Nail Spa in Pasadena. It's a shame that I have to drive an hour each way to get great service. I'm high maintenance and spend several hundreds a month on my nails, toes and waxing etc. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I asked the lady if she can do this (showed her picture of what I normally get) and she said yes. I asked if she was sure and she said yes. The old lady left dye on my brows on for 25 minutes- first flaw. Dye should only be on for 7-10 minutes. When I expressed my sadness in her tinting she said there is nothing she can do. While the manager was somewhat empathetic, another person came and tried to fix what the lady messed up. This was the end result. The manager said she will give me a 10% discount. I used to love coming to this salon. I used the same technician, Sam every time. I always felt so comfortable and the staff was awesome. Sadly because of Covid and everything closing I couldn't come. Life happens and it's been three years. Two weeks ago I came in with my sister and granddaughter who was visiting from California. The salon is still beautiful, but this visit was far from the what it used to be!! The girl that did my pedicure was terrible. She was rude and barely even looked at me. She talked to everyone except me? Guess she didn't like me lol. I really could care less. The pedicure I got wasn't the cheapest one so I do expect to be treated like they care that I'm sitting in front of them. Of course that's how it should be whether you're spending $5 or $500. The lady was finished so fast it left me dumbfounded. She barely scrubbed my feet, and nor did she really use the tool to remove the cuticles around my toes. My massage was done half a,,,, as well!!! Not enjoyable at all! The girl that did my sister's feet was much younger and very friendly. I watched her interacting with my sister and all I could think was: I wish she was doing my pedicure. On to the full set of nails I had put on. The guy that did them, did do a fairly decent job. I was happy with them. What was irritating me was that the whole time he was doing my nails he barely said anything to me either. I'm like what the hell. I'm thinking that most people like me okay lol. At least enough to just smile. Then, "awkward as all heck" he and another lady got into an argument over how to paint my nails. I wanted to try something new, but they couldn't agree on the method. I usually don't write reviews but this experience left me very upset. This is the third time I come here and am told to wait for a very long time until someone attends me. I get that they get busy, but a nail visit shouldn't be two hours. I only came for a full-set, in which two different people worked on. Steven was working on my nails when the manager (Yumi, I believe. Though her Zelle name was Thi) assigned him to another customer and took over. She laughed about it but I didn't say anything as I just wanted to get my nails done. While she was working on my nails, there was Sarah, an employee. Sarah is a nice, young girl who is trying her best. They hired her because she speaks fluent English, which makes this business more accessible to many costumers. Despite the fact that they practically need her there and how much she has done for this business, it amazed me how the poor girl couldn't even take a break in peace because the manager, and I quote, told her, "You want to eat?? That's something you should've taken care of before coming to work. I'm going to have a talk to you once I'm done", all while pointing at her and working on my nails. She was speaking in a loud, rude tone in front of the customers, myself included, of course. She then proceeded to talk about Sarah to another employee, which was also mistreating Sarah. I don't know her name but this other employee was an older woman. Also, I had come into the store with a simple style in mind, which I even had a picture of. It was an oval/almond shape with a solid color, and a short length as well. Steven was doing a great job while he was working on my nails, but when the manager took over, she made my nails so pointy. I had shown her the same picture prior to starting on my nails so I'm not sure why she decided to take matters into her own hands. She had ruined the shape, and then got upset when I told her I was not liking how narrow they looked. I had been very patient and was speaking to her in a calm and respectful way. However, she yelled at me and told me that I was wrong and "should've known the names of the shapes" better because apparently there is a difference between oval and almond. I understand that, but I had shown her the picture and showed her that's exactly how I wanted them. I didn't even request a shape, I just wanted what was in the picture, which Steven understood but she didn't. Once she realized she was wrong, she continued working on my nails in a very rough manner. Not to mention the fact that half of my nails were slanted, very lifted from my actual nail, had different tones of purple because of how many times she had to fix them, and how she was responding to texts and emails and doing other things WHILE working on me. I spent $41 on nails that did not come out as promised, and an experience that I did not deserve. Very unprofessional, very disappointed, and not satisfied at all. read more

I have to update my review bc I just realized a big turn off while getting my nails done. I had previously gotten the powder dip which were great and lasted over 4 weeks. I decided to let my nails recover and just go with regular mani and polish. As I was dipping my nails in the bowl of cold water. Cold? My technician was rummaging through his drawer in which he pulled out his tools--cuticle cutter, pusher... etc. THIS is when I spotted something wrong. Are these tools sterilized? Every other place I've gone to, you see them opening the package of sterilized tools. But nope, he just threw his cuticle cutters back into his drawer when he was done with mine. Ew much? My nails were already brittle and with the powder dip on for so long, I wanted my nails to be super short so they wouldn't break. He looked at me funny and just cut it at a length he saw fit. Two of my nails have since cracked on the side :( bc of my brittle nails. Will be cutting the rest of my nails super short now. Disappointed. Time to look for a new place. read more

I've been going to this nail shop For three years and I've never had any issues until today (December 18th at 2:00 pm). The new receptionist was so lost and unhelpful. My husband and I went to the nail shop and asked for two pedicures and one full set, and immediately the receptionist looked at me with a blank stare. I asked her, "Is there an issue?" She replied, " Yes it's just that the men here don't like working on other men's feet." The funny thing is that was no problem before, because my husband had men there complete his pedicures before with no problem. That was total discrimination. What if they have transgender men or women in the future? Will they just turn them away as well? I also asked the receptionist when a woman will be available, and she said that they were all in the middle of a service. She didn't even give me an estimated time frame. I told her that we won't return, because of the unprofessionalism. So if you want to deal with a lost receptionist who has been there for about 6 months, then I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm currently a new customer at Viva Nail Spa which is 5 minutes away from Atlantis. So if you have a bad experience and you want a new place that is professional and doesn't discriminate; definitely go to Viva Nail Spa. read more

I came here for SNS and a pedicure after searching all over for a salon that does this service. I'm so thankful for Yumi and Diana for bringing my month old nails back to life! I ended up getting SNS with Mirror Powder on top! It is absolutely beautiful, and is my favorite as of right now! Yumi was patient and did an excellent job! I requested her after seeing all the amazing reviews! Diana performed my pedicure service, and the massage was so relaxing! She was very sweet and caring and was understanding when I changed my polish at the last minute! I love how meticulous she was with my toes and I will definitely request her again! The ambiance of this place is very clean, and relaxing. The mural on the wall gives you a feeling of being under the sea. They also have a wall of bubbles! He didn't really make any conversation in the process but wasn't rude about anything; just wasn't too talkative. My only complaint was that he seemed to rush.
