I went in early this week and the staff was friendly and kind. I got a mani/pedi. The pedicure was enjoyable. The mani i got acrylic and I believe it could have been a better job, but I am not one to complain. I had to come home and file the sides down. The nails are very thick and they have texture on the nails like debris stuck on the polish. Again, the service was crappy. The chair was pushed up so far that my knees were practically in my chest. The chairs wouldn't move back anymore and that was all I could get. She cut up my feet and once again didn't do it right. I then got a manicure and she barely filed my nails and all I wanted to have done was to have them buffed. I went to check out and they charged me an additional five dollars to buff my nails. I didn't even use their nail polish and they charged me just to bust the nail. Hi, I wanted to reach out because I'm honestly really upset with the service I received. I specifically asked for my nails to be narrow and for minimal product, but the result was the exact opposite. On top of that, I told the tech I wanted to keep my natural nails, and they ended up completely ruining them. I've been here a couple of times and the last two have been somewhat disastrous. I recently went in for a mani/pedi (literally three days ago) and for the second time in a row - had a horrible experience. First - the tech was not happy that I wanted to change my dip color and was quite vocal about it. Second, she was not pleased that I didn't want them long (to do long, they charge more money). I wanted to soak off the tip and dip and replace it with just a dip overlay on my nails. Third - she cut my natural nails super short after I asked her NOT to, thus requiring me to put BACK on a tip for even a classy natural/short length. Adding insult to injury, I told her I wanted a natural shape (not too square - not too round) and she proceeds to shape them super square. When I asked her to correct it, she became further aggravated. I asked for the dip to not touch my cuticles and to not be too thick - all of which was done. Each time I expressed my concerns - she became agitated. So much so that she just WALKED away once she felt she was done! Ultimately, the shape is not right, the consistency is poor, and the vibe was disturbing. My pedicure - not at all what I paid for. The worst part is the shellac began falling off later that same day. The polish is on my skin and a tad messy in some areas. Now I'm left with nearly a $150 bill that I politely requested a refund or fix for and was denied! The young lady working the front counter - bless her rude heart - assured me that she would have the manager reach out to me (he - Bill(?) did not) because she didn't have anyone to fix the mess they made - nor was she able to refund my charge. I now need to go have this mess fixed and have wasted time and money. Do not recommend. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. This is a franchise I have been familiar with since high school and never had any issues with the Glenloch location. However, I came with my boyfriend to this location recently and will not be back. Amazing staff and service. The tech did a great job and everyone was super nice. The caveat is that my nails started to break within the first week. I glued the one back on because the shop is a hike from my house and didn't want to make a fuss. But over two days half of my manicure was off and I'm not a blue collar worker. I called the shop to let them know and they offered a discount on a fresh set. If you are okay with nails that last for a week, this is the place to go! But with what they charge, you can easily find a shop that provides service that last. read more

I used to go this location for close to 2yrs, but I no longer go there.. The best person that used do my nails there was Emily & Emily knew what I like & she did them well, I was always a satisfied customer, but she's no longer there & I've been trying to find her, idk if she quit & she went to another location & but they won't tell me where she went or maybe something happened to her, i hope she's okay. She was more than a person who did my nails, she was friend I had at the nail shop. I'm very introverted & little awkward maybe, lol, but she made me feel comfortable enough to talk to her, We're both GenX'ers, but we both look like we're not a day over 30, lol, we talked about our kids & I learned things about her too, it was a vibe went I went in there because she was the vibe, she took her time with me, I never felt rushed like you normally feel with other nail techs. I have gone twice since she's been gone & they have messed up my nails both times, the last time was atrocious that girl at the front knew they were messed up because she offered someone else to redo them when she looked at my hands, but I had somewhere I needed to go & I was pressed for time but I knew I was never going back again, now I gotta start all over to find a great nail person, I wish I asked Emily what was procedure she did to make dip powder stay on longer, I'm talking my nails looked great for damn near a month, she did an extra step for me that no other nail tech did, I wished I asked her, so I'll know what to specifically ask for. OVERPRICED, POOR QUALITY NAILS, SERVICE THAT ALWAYS FAILS TO DELIVER- Ive tried this place several different times and, stupid me, shouldve stopped coming to this place the first time I received bad service. The first time I came, prob 2 years ago was great. After that, it was bad service, from the nail tech and poor quality nail service. I always attempted to try them again because Im in the area. I tried them again today because I had a coupon for my birthday. Helen did my pedi which she did great! Was very friendly, I asked for some things here and there and she always was great to me. I also had Hana do my manicure and she kept pressing me to do a refill which I just didnt want to do for my reasons. She kept pressing, pressing, pressing so I said Fine!... Midway I changed my mind because she wasnt doing a good job and I was worried that it was just gonna come out ugly and still have to pay alot.. Well I still paid alot.. Somehow a mani shellac and Pedi shellac came out to $120.... Anyways, When I changed my mind, she turned abrupt. She started being quick with my mani and just ' shortcut' the whole manicure process. I asked for almond and its more like coffin with sharp filing cuts around the edges..... But Like I said I came here ON my birthday and because I had a birthday coupon. In which I showed the receptionist which said that I couldn't use it cause its not for their location.. The message said "Nails of America SPRING" ... How am I suppose to know?? YOUR LOCATION IS IN SPRING and so are 2 other locations. I left it at that because Im not arguing with no one who has a "it-is-what-it-is" persona. Beware. read more

Honestly I usually come here to do my eyebrows and don't really have any complaints , it's not the best my eyebrows have ever looked but they don't look terrible . I came here to get a pedicure gel pedicure and highly disappointed $80 and my nail polish came off the next day?? That's INSANE gel pedicure usually last me AT LEAST 2 weeks this one didn't even last a day. Pissed is an understatement. I would not recommend this nail shop to anyone. I got my dip service on Saturday, October 7th. The service was fine, however the nails were slightly lumpy due to the powder being on my cuticle. I didn't complain as I thought that would be fixed during filing. It was not. When he finished filing my nails, I looked at the tips and asked if one of my nails had already cracked as it looked like the powder was cracking. He reassured me they weren't cracked and wouldn't crack as he had made the tips a little thicker with clear powder first. I leave the salon and go home, and the next day Sunday, October 8th while folding clothes, I notice two of my nails are chipped on my right hand. I called the salon and asked if I could have a refund as I was headed back to campus Sunday night and wouldn't be back in the area to get my nails fixed. Their receptionist informed there are no refunds on the services provided but they would be happy to fix my nails. I was fine with that. On my way to the salon I reached for my card in my wallet and another nail on my left hand cracked. When I arrived at the salon, the receptionist asked to see my nails to see what the issue was. She sat me down with a new nail tech named Tina who looked at my nails and told me that they were all going to chip within a day or two even if she fixed them. She then told me to tell the receptionist that she (Tina) was going to have to redo my entire set because they were all going to chip due to the powder being all over my cuticles and incorrectly shaped. The receptionist got the manager who came to talk to Tina to see what was wrong. Tina told him the problem and He told Tina to only redo the three nails that chipped. I then asked what the written refund policy was and told the manager that she (Tina) wouldn't have to redo my nails and work for free to correct someone else's mistake if they would just refund me my money. He (the manager) tells me that their policy is not to refund for service. I asked for a written copy of the refund policy, which he could not provide me with as he said it wasn't written down. He then tells me that Tina was no longer going to be able to service me because she had an appointment and that they would find another person to do my nails. I again requested a refund because I was not confident in the service I would receive at that point. He then said their refund policy changes at will and that they could only give me a gift certificate that expired in two days. Tina then offered to reshape and file all of my nails and redo the ones that had chipped. The manager was rude to both me and Tina as he was unhappy that she continued to finish my nail service. I thanked Tina profusely and apologized to her for the situation because it wasn't her fault. Fast forward to today (Tuesday, October 10th) my nails are chipped which I will post photos of below. Long story short, the customer service was terrible as was my nail service during my experience and the refund policy is not enforceable as it is not written or readily visible in the salon. So please don't be afraid to push the issue if a problem arises. read more
