I have been going to Plush Nail Bar since they were in the original smaller location in the Woodlands. Suri (and Rose, and Ivy and Linda) have always given me the best manicure, pedicure and massages. We all know what a gem Cindy has and how consistently welcome and taken care of you feel as soon as you walk in the door of Plush. But now she has truly hit it out of the park with the spa expansion. I have been wanting to try head spas since I first knew they existed but was hesitant because of my extensions (thank you @SalonHawthorne) - I sure didn't want to risk ruining them. When I heard that new spa at my Plush would have a hair spa, I was so excited. I knew I could count on them to be careful and take care of my investment. This last Saturday I had my first, and definitely not my last! It is such a delight to have someone wash your hair. And the scrub and massage make it even nicer. They blow dry you before you leave so you are not walking out with a wet head. To round out my visit I ended with one of their Reflexology massages. Ladies!! Do not walk but run to get one of these! The massage room is nice and gloriously dark with the softest robes ever. Nerissa gave me a fabulous massage and the best stretches. Every single piece of me relaxed. I never fully relax - if I get still enough to not think about work my brain starts running through all the other things I need to get done. But not this time. I am surprised I was not snoring. I did not feel like a customer I felt seen. Sounds cliche but it was really nice that they sang me happy birthday and gave me a gift. I really enjoy visiting here! I live 45 mins away but really take the time out from my busy work schedule to get my lashes done with my favorite lash tech, Na! She always squeezes me in, and I love coming right when they open! The ladies at the receptionist desks are so welcoming and super sweet! They really try to get to know me each time I visit, and I love how simple it is to check in with the system they use! Na always takes care of my lash services. It's definitely difficult to find someone I truly trust and love with my lashes, but Na always gives me the best lash experience I could ask for. She's so delicate with her hands, and really take in my feedback when I inform her of my concerns from my last set or session. She often modifies and improves from last session. I just left Plush after having a pedicure with Jenny and my nails done by Alice. It was fabulous. I wasn't really sure exactly what I wanted but Alice was super knowledgeable and helped me decide. She did a fabulous job on my nails and was also super fun to talk to and kind. I felt like I had made a friend by the end of it. Jenny also did a really good job on my pedicure. I did just a basic pedicure this time... Some places in the past would do the very bare minimum whenever I got a basic pedicure, but I didn't feel that way with Jenny at all. I went to Plush nail bar after a friend recommended it. Her nails looked fantastic and as a teacher I wanted my nails done for the first day back. I spent well over $100 getting a mani, pedi and neck massage. The pedicure was amazing, but my dip manicure started chipping after 1 day. I have never had this happen with dip powder in the past. I reached out to the salon via instagram and I called. I never heard back and ultimately had to have the dip taken off so I wasn't walking around the first day, meeting parents with chipped nails. Let me share something with you all! Those other reviews claiming that people are rude or that the waits are long simply aren't accurate. I called ahead and walked in within an hour, facing barely a five-minute wait. Honestly, those reviewers must be a bit impatient. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Jessica. She's incredibly friendly! Since she answers the phones, it's clear those reviews are off the mark. It seems like some of the unhappy reviewers might need a little personality check. Tiffany is absolutely amazing with nails! As someone who cares deeply about shape, it's crucial for me, and Tiffany ensured I was delighted with every step of my full set with shellac. I adore the shape, and "Bubble Bath" is always my go-to color. Annie took care of my pedicure and acrylic toes with shellac, and she's just as fantastic as Tiffany, especially when it comes to toes (I'd totally trust her with my nails too if needed). Just like Tiffany, she was so attentive, keeping me informed throughout the process and making sure everything was exactly what I wanted. Both Tiffany and Annie are wonderful conversationalists--I asked a million questions and had them in stitches! This was my first visit, but it felt like I had known them forever, haha. I travel 30 minutes to go to this nail bar because it is THE BEST I have been to. Any time I have gotten gel or acrylic set of nails, they break after a week. Getting my nails done here, they last almost a minimum of a month!! The staff is super friendly and will get you serviced as soon as they can. They are open to ideas and listen to any concerns you may have as well. You have a bad broken nail halfway through you nail, they make sure they are super careful refilling your nails so they don't hurt you. They are also very fun people. They definitely like to have their parties. Once I was the last one having my nails finished and they were starting a karaoke party!! They also have a cute bar and bring you a menu right when you come in. Sometimes they are out of ingredients, but they try to make whatever drink you'd like - alcoholic or not. We came in at 5:00 and they told us it would be a 15 minute wait. We walk out at 5:45 WITHOUT our nails done and with 45 minutes WASTED. We stood there and kept asking the cashier when we would get the service and she continuously told us "Soon" until we got frustrated and contacted the manager. She came up tu us and started apologizing, saying that it would be a very long wait. We complained about waiting fir a long time and she only said "I'm sorry but a lot of costumers where in line in front of you." I truly think that everyone in that facility ignores the people waiting in line and truly do not care what that person does with their time. They are way too busy and are not accommodating to it. My biggest pet peeve is being rushed while at the nail salon. I feel as though nail technicians and owners forget that the nail salon, or any salon for that matter is supposed to be a relaxing, peaceful experience, but typical "Asian" mentality is to get customers in and out of the salon while trying to be efficient and still provide quality, beautiful nail service. This is where they fail miserably! I will say, salons have their good days and bad days, just like anywhere else...but nonetheless, I HATE BEING RUSHED! With that being said... My sister decided to treat me to a mani/pedi for my birthday, and I was excited to sit down and enjoy a chair massage, drink my mimosa, and spend time conversing with my sister, but oh no, the minute we went to the shellac/gel color station, we were already being rushed. My sister and I were standing there for maybe 1-2 minutes, and someone was already walking by and escorting us to our chair...I hadn't picked out any colors yet, or a design, and then not even a full minute had gone by and they were already starting on my pedicure AND manicure at the same time. One of the staff members came by and asked me if I wanted anything to drink, so I asked for a mimosa...she brought it, but the lady who was doing my manicure could care less about giving me a breather to take a sip of my mimosa. She had my hands held up the entire time for manicure, and I literally had like one sip at the very end. Not only that, I didn't even get a chance to start the massage chair, so I didn't enjoy a massage either. Pedicure was rushed as well. Rather than letting me enjoy the pedicure, it felt like a step by step process, happened way too quickly. He was basically like "leg up, leg down, put your feet here..." I could tell he was rushing, and judging by the way my toes were painted, it was clear that he didn't take his time. Let's just say my sister's toes were painted much more precise than mine. Disappointing to say the least. Once my shellac mani was done, I noticed that the tops of my nails were bumpy and not smooth. I found it strange, because typically when you get shellac or gel, it's very smooth after they do the last "test" step of wiping the nails over with acetone. So I asked my nail lady to take a look, and she seemed very frustrated and annoyed. Which made me annoyed. THEN, both my sister's technician and my technician offered us both a complimentary neck/shoulder massage, but it LITERALLY lasted only a minute. I mean, c'mon, if you're only going to do it for a minute, don't bother offering it to customers at all. It's not worth it. My nail technician was careless - I forgot to mention that when she was removing my old shellac, she doused the cotton pad with acetone, so much that each finger was literally dripping with acetone...instead of knowing how much to put so that it doesn't drip down outside of the aluminum foil, she doused it with acetone and didn't even bother to wipe it for me. The pedicure guy had to finally wipe it for me. I mean RIDICULOUS! My sister's nail technician was an older lady. Always the older ladies who are less skilled and inconsistent, because she cut my sister in two places! Unacceptable in my opinion. However, her pedicure guy did an amazing job and painted her toes perfectly! Ambiance was decent, however, most nail salons take extra measures these days to not allow their salon to smell of acetone so strongly, by implementing better ventilation or using higher quality products so that it doesn't create chemical smells - but I noticed as soon as I walked in that the chemicals and acetone smelled really strong. Especially with COVID-19, many establishments are taking extra measures to ensure better ventilation at their stores and salons. All in all, what a huge disappointment. From being rushed right from the beginning, to my sister getting cut in two places, to my nail technician clearly showing her frustration and irritated feelings and letting us see that, are all so unprofessional. We will most likely not be returning any time soon. The cherry on top - the bill came out to $145 for two mani/pedi's (basic level)...and if we're going to pay that much, we expect at the bare minimum for our nails and toes to be painted well. read more

I waited a week to leave my review, and I'll explain why. It was my first time to this salon, I was gifted a gift card, and I was excited to be able to book with Ivy because I've read great reviews about her. When I got there, Ms Lee was very nice and got me situated while I waited. Ten mins later, she asked if someone else could take me because Ivy was busy. I didn't really mind, and asked that she find someone who is good at dip nails. However, Tammy rushed through my nail prep (I didn't have anything on them), butchered my cuticles, and shaped my nails like something out of Dr Seuss. I asked for square. I got... something unrecognizable. My nails were a mess, she didn't even clean them up. In fact, she told me that I can go home and clean them there. I was too shocked to say anything, I just wanted to pay and go home. I was so upset. The gentleman at the front desk insisted on getting Ms Lee, despite my objection. To her credit, she was mortified at my nails and wouldn't let me pay. She wanted to find someone to fix it, but at that point I just wanted to get home. Besides, my nails were ruined, really short, misshaped, and my cuticles were all cut up and bleeding. I waited to leave the review, because Ms Lee promised me that she would call me back "next week" (aka last week) to schedule an appointment to fix my nails. I never heard from her or anyone there. Some people might think that because they didn't let me pay, I shouldn't be upset... but I am. My friend paid for the gift card. My nails look atrocious after just a week, the "matte" coat is peeling off, the sides are breaking and lifting up, and the shape looks somehow worse. I now have a gift card I can't use, because I can't bring myself to go back there. I was bumped from Ivy's schedule because I'm not a regular, and they didn't call me back to fix it. It's pretty upsetting. Ms Lee seemed so kind and helpful, I trusted her to keep her word. I think that's what makes me so sad and disappointed. Sunday was my second time having lash extensions done here. I previously had them done for a vacation I went on. walking into my appointment I understood I was gonna have to pay for a full set because my lashes have been in the water most of the time. However, I came in Sunday and requested a refill leaving my appointment. I have been extremely dissatisfied with the service I received, my lashes have so much glue on them as well as they're falling out and huge clumps. I have been brushing my lashes. And cleaning them like normal. Using the lash brush they gave me. Yes she did take her time, however, I am very upset that I just paid for practically a full set on Sunday and it's now Tuesday and my lashes look like I haven't even gotten a refill. If you value your time, do not bother even trying with this place. This was my second time here, having made an appointment both times. They overbook the salon and leave you sitting in a chair waiting and waiting. I suppose they do not understand what an appointment means. There are not enough nail technicians working for the amount of clients they are trying to accommodate. If you have several hours to kill and don't mind sitting around this might be the place for you. I use my time to be productive. If i knew it was busy I would've preferred coming in later so I didn't like that I was Lied to. I got short acrylics and was told it's $100.
