I booked an appointment with vi she is simply amazing, her and Anne I recently relocated to Texas from California and I felt so comfortable upon walking in, every one was welcoming. I'm really upset, and rarely write reviews. I have been coming here for 8 months now and have not had an issue until now. I told the gentleman that I thought the ring finger nail was sideways and was told that it was my finger, yet have never had such a sideways nail before. He then called his manager over who told me the same. She tried to tell me to look at her nails (which were short! And obviously not crooked). If I'm not happy and I tell you I'm not happy, you could offer to fix the issue instead I told the manager I did not agree and asked for it to be fix, to which they refused to EVEN ADDRESS! For $85.00 I am still upset. I will not be coming back, I will make sure my friends and other family members don't come here. If my husband can tell they are sideways, then they certainly are, let's be real. Now, if you don't care how sideways they put on your nails, then they do a fine job. But guess the customer fingers are just crooked, instead of providing good service. Strongly consider going elsewhere! I'm still heated about it hours later! Why!? Literally obsessed with my nails that Liam did. I went with my friend and we had such a good time laughing with the nail artists. Both of our artists were more than happy to provide us with full and amazing service (including some delicious mimosas!) even though they were pretty close to closing time and my friend and I both wanted basic girl Pinterest ideas but with some pizazz which we really appreciated and they executed flawlessly. I hate to leave this review because Tammy and the entire team were so sweet however, I can't help but to feel ripped off. I went to Vie on 9/25 to get dip on my fingernails removed and regular polish on my toes removed with a shellac add on/replacement for both. I called the salon on 9/24 and was told it would be much cheaper to just get add on services for both (cheaper than $32 for a new shellac manicure and $27+$15 for shellac pedicure). I didn't have an appointment and was so happy at how quickly they took me back. Tammy was so sweet but she seemed to be rushing my service. I don't like to spend hours at the nail salon but I would much rather my technician take a little longer for a better service that I'm paying for. I got to the front desk to check out and was told my total was $68. I didn't get a manicure or pedicure, just a dip removal and regular polish removal with shellac replacement. No massage or additional services were added on (I didn't even dip my feet in the water) but I was still charged the full amount for a manicure and pedicure. I asked the girl at the front desk and explained to her what I was told over the phone on 9/24 and she explained it away saying the dip removal is extra blah blah blah. Come 9/26 (the day after my service), I found a crack on one of my nails and bubbles on another. I am so upset at the quality of the service and can't help but to feel ripped off. I won't be back and won't be recommending the salon to others. The fact that I WAS a regular customer who spent over $130 every time I came here I'm very dismayed by this review that I have to leave. I came in to get my nails done on Saturday and the tech that I got was very much in a hurry he was pushing my hand around like he was irritated and/or didn't want to be there doing his job, not to mention he did my nails incorrectly. When I complained, which I don't usually do, I was told that I could come back the next day, the problem with that is I don't ever get my nails done and take them off the next day to get them done again because that process is quite painful. I typically wait until my nails have grown out Or has fallen off before I get them done again I spoke with the manager who gave me a gift certificate however the gift certificate had an expiration date of 7days. When I spoke to the manager I told him next time he should gauge his customers before throwing out the words policy to them. Every situation isn't always the same. I come there, I get my nails done, I tip and I leave. I'm very courteous, I'm not a mean person I'm actually very quiet. In this situation Mr. manager, next time what you should do is gauge the situation and think hmmm does my policy apply to this customer in this scenario? If not maybe there should be more wiggle based off the situation, because remember you've already taken the customers money. I'm the type of customer who doesn't get my nails redone in seven days, I get my nails redone when it's time for a full new set that's why I never mind paying for good service because I pay for what I want. In this case, I will never return to this location!! You lost a good and loyal customer and next time when I speak to you over the phone Mr. manager, please don't yell out your great reviews that you've had (he told me "go check Yelp, I've had 5 star reviews for the last 3 months) because I'm on yelp right now and you have a bad review from 20 days ago yeah and your streak definitely just ended with me. Ladies my advice, DO NOT GO HERE‼‼ we're giving these guys way too much money and they don't appreciate us. I set an appointment with Deedee, but when I arrived, they told me she was on vacation which was very disappointing. They could have notified me when I set my appointment. They had someone else do my nails and I am not satisfied with them. She did not give me the shape or length I asked for and still charged me for long length nails. She barely cleaned the powder dust off my nails, she just polished over it. The colors came out ok, but this is not what I asked for. My nails are not equally cut. Unfortunately your reply to a customer complaint only confirms your awful customer service. Bad customer service, the place looks super dirty and I had the worst shellac manicure ever. The first time they did it I ended up with a super ugly and thick shellac coat that started chipping the next day. I went back and they blame it in the color I choose so they did it again with another color and the same thing happened. I went back to show them what was happening and no one will take responsibility for the awful job and cheap products they use. So this review is based off of two experiences, the first for the nails I wore on my wedding and then a new set of acrylics that I got three weeks later. The man who did my nails the first time, I believe his name was Don, he was incredible! Did an amazing job and I loved my nails. Would give that visit a 5 star rating but my last visit was the complete opposite. My nails had gotten a bit too long for me to manage and I kept getting the caught on things so I wanted a shorter set. The lady who did my nails the second time complained everytime I asked her to cut them a little shorter. Overall she maybe took two tiny snips and told me I was making them too short. I eventually didn't care to argue thinking that because I wanted a different shape it would be okay. But the shape was supposed to be almond and was uneven in almost all my nails. Some where very round and others more pointy. At the end she also filed around the outside of the nails which made them look rough and unfinished. The color didn't even go down halfway on the sides which the filing didn't help. Additionally she made the appointment very uncomfortable. She was coughing a lot which I didn't mind since allergens are high but then she told me it was from the fumes and she was probably gonna die from them. This place is amazing!! DeeDee did amazing on my sister's nails, however Vincent(I think that's his name? It's the tall guy, ik his name started with a V) did AWFUL on my nails. We got our nails done not long ago and my sister's nails (beautiful pink marble squares done by deedee) are still holding strong, looks STUNNING, meanwhile my nails (stiletto matte black) that were done by Vincent were lumpy, had bubbles, uneven, and one broke off THE NEXT DAY!!! Super flimsy, very fragile, not done properly. Now, they are ALL broken off. I go here regularly and they're amazing, but next time I'll make sure I DONT let Vincent do my nails, and neither should you. He did a half a$$ job. very awful. And I wasted money for flimsy nails. I got a deluxe pedicure... it seems like pretty basic . I did not like how they massage your leg... they massage your bones and it hurts . Also... if you pay with card... it's extra fee. Horrible experience. Came here because of the reviews and had the worst experience. The receptionist is rude like another reviewer stated. I wanted a very short full set with a french design and they tried charging 94$! 94$ for a short full set with tips. They wanted 35$ for a FRENCH design alone & they want to charge for everything including charging for a SQUARE shape. The only time you charge 35$ for french tip alone is when you are using powder for the french tip! Not gel! Since when do you get charged a fee for shaping a square set that is SHORT? You charge for special shapes not a regular shape. Chloe was rude with a nasty attitude & tried charging me again for take off after showing me the price AFTER applying tips and then started talking crap in her language like people dont have google translate in 2024. Nope. I will drive the hour to see my nail tech that i always go to. Chloe also applied my nails CROOKED and she was going to leave it that way i had to tell her twice to fix it. Foundation and application is everything and i prefer nail techs that are perfectionist like my normal nail tech not people that are lazy. She was going to fix it by adding extra powder on the side. I don't like writing reviews, but this place NEEDS one. Today I went to this nail salon. I live pretty close by. This is NOT my regular spot. I usually go to TNT nails in the woodlands or nails of America if my girl is there. But today I decided to go here honestly just simply because I just didn't wanna talk or "be social" pretty much. I wanted to go and get my stuff done have my headphones in etc. I go in ask the MANAGER for "someone who is good with detail" with an explanation. I've been there one time before I ask for the MANGER for the lady previously ( he said she was on vacation) she came in later!!! Actually the lady that fix my toes are trying to do her best to fix the shellac. Remember me from the last time and said that that was the lady that did my nails and that's what I thought! Majority of the ladies were super Duper sweet. There are a few of them that we're hanging out with younger guys that were kind of in a little gossipy. I felt like they were talking about me kind of situation, but most of them were helpful. I just think the way that the younger ones handled that would not be the way I would run my business. In fact, when I went to pay at the end, the MALE MANAGER told ME that I should look for somewhere else to go?!?. Like what? He also waited until I got to the door and said it in front a lobby full of people after I just spent $140 on nails that look horrible and four hours of my time. Like trust me I wasn't coming back, but I never raise my voice. I never cussed. I never did anything inappropriate. So buzzard. Idk literally the only thing I said that could be upsetting was I didn't want to pay for the shellac on my nails because it does not look good and the guy was really really rude. I will pay for the dip and all that but I didn't get a full manicure and my nails don't look good. Even more this experience was just crap. I end up getting two separate people and went downhill pretty quickly from there. The guy that approach to do my nails as I am in the pedicure chair is not very welcoming or friendly already. But again not there to socialize so I don't really care just do my nails and go. Well as I'm trying to decide between a nude and a pink I have a bruise on my big toe so I need some thing I have a little bit of coverage. Typically the nail person helps you find that color eventually a girl did come over and put three on her hand and I pick the first one. It's beautiful I love the color, the application and the process of getting to this color was unnecessary. I only wrote this review to say if you've made it this far, and you really don't know what people are going through so maybe just be nice. These guys made me feel completely uncomfortable. Like someone sitting right next to you just not able to control their face. They're not saying stuff, but kind of a yanking my hand or turning my finger roughly, he was clearly rushing and he even dropped the dip powder ALL over the floor (which let me tell you added to his attitude) he was even ignoring the pedi lady. Visibly angry. I don't think that's appropriate for any work place or any body that handles customer service regardless of what it is. I've always given mercy and grace I understand language barrier's, which is why I explained I would pay for the repaint of my paint of my nails, tip the etc. but it just seemed like everything. I said it was a conflict with the manager. Today I just simply planned on getting my nails done for my son Mason's heavenly birthday. All 3 of my babies are in Heaven. 2yrs. 4yrs. 10yrs. Mason birthday is on the 7th. I wanted to add baby blue designs. I couldn't decide between blue or pink. Absolutely I wanted help finding a good color and instead of getting help I felt like I was the biggest burden to them and I shouldn't have stayed. I should've left. This may be all over the place but whatever I'm done spending anymore time on this. There's just no excuse. Today humanity sucked a little. Be kind. Slow down. Listen. Dec. 2020 - I got a toe nail fungus under several of my toe nails from this place. The toe nail clippers did not appear to have been sanitized after the previous use. The lady pulled them out of a container with a bunch of other stuff and they didn't look clean at all. She then put the toe nail clippers back in the same container after using on me (never cleaned them), then went over to the next person to start their pedicure. So here I am 2 weeks later with toe nail fungus from their dirty nail salon. When paying I asked the lady if she could break a $20 so I could leave a tip for her (she did my manicure) and for the lady that did my pedicure. She gave me $18 back instead of $20. It was completely obvious what she was doing. I watched her count the money and take the $2 out of the pile before giving it to me. This was no accident. When I made her aware of the situation, she then tried to short me again, this time she only gave me $19 back. The guy who appeared to be the manager was standing there the entire time and watched the whole thing and said nothing. It's obvious they do this little routine often. The guy who appeared to be the manager was clearly very ill. He coughed the entire time, his eyes were glassy, his face was pale, he looked and sounded very sick. His mask was pulled down and not over his mouth and nose completely, mostly due to his excessive coughing and runny nose. During a Covid outbreak, one would think he'd stay at home. It was clear the employees were trying to avoid him. He had no care for the health and safety of the customers nor his employees. I wouldn't be surprised if several people who attended this nail salon in Dec. 2020 got Covid from this guy. This was only my second time at this nail salon and it will be my last.
