Tried a new nail salon and overall good experience! I actually live about 30 minutes away and was referred by family since I was in the area. My pedicure was done by Cindy and she was great. She was very kind and even showed me the polish color beforehand to make sure I liked it before starting the pedicure, which I really appreciated. My nails were done by Jade. She wasn't the friendliest technician I've experienced, but I try to extend grace because everyone has off days & she may have just been tired. I originally wanted to try builder gel, but she made a recommendation and I ended up sticking with my usual overlay. One thing I did differently this visit was ask for a price breakdown and saved it for my next appointment. In the past, I've been very loyal to nail salons but noticed my total sometimes fluctuates between visits, so I'm trying to be more mindful of pricing moving forward. This was a really terrible experience for me. I'm so upset and just left. I worked with the nail tech Julie and she was beyond rude and didn't listen to what I asked of her for my manicure. I dealt with her rude personality because she was the best there at Sky Nails but she did a quick and crappy job on my dip today and was extremely rude. She then refused to do my pedicure because "her hands started hurting" out of the blue and she turned me over to a junior tech. I just had to leave. Why do I have to pay for someone to be abusive? Fairly disappointed on how the service went. Unfortunately, the mail tech didn't clean my nails well. There's polish all over my fingers and hand. There's fuzz and on the inside, left over white polish that wasn't removed for a French tip, polish over lapping. I also got a pedicure and it was very cringing. Terrible customer service. My nails looked nothing like the picture i showed them. I asked for marbled ombre and what i got just looked like ombre with kindergarten Scribble instead of gold flakes. I understand all marble wont look the same but this isnt even close. If you're unsatisfied with your nails (as i was) don't expect a refund because they wont give it to you. Instead, you'll be charged 50% off the original price to have them redone. I asked them to atleast file them more to get a decent coffin shape and they refused. To walk in for a simple design change and to have your favorite nail tech Tiffany complete it is alway great, but today she gave me the worse service ever with adhering to the customers request of trying to write a name neatly on a nail instead of the scribble that was there now.
