They don't have Essie or OPI nail polish. Whatever cheap nail polish they used on my toes chipped the following day. The nail polish on my toes usually lasts a month. I think they do this to force you to pay more for shellac. A waste of time and money. read more

I really wanted to like this nail salon. My nail tech was very nice and did a good job -- that's honestly the only reason I hesitated to leave this review. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn't live up to expectations. The salon advertises a full bar, but I wasn't offered anything to drink -- not even water. I don't drink alcohol, but it still would've been nice to be offered something, especially since that's one of their main features. There was also a 20% off coupon listed online and displayed on the counter. When I asked about it, the woman at the front desk told me they were no longer honoring the promotion. She said she didn't know why the signs were still up or why it was still on the website. During checkout, she seemed more focused on her phone than on helping customers. My card didn't go through the first time, and she barely looked up to assist. I ended up just using tap on my phone to pay and get out of there. It's disappointing because the salon looks nice and my tech was great, but the customer service at the front desk was unprofessional and inattentive. Sadly, I won't be returning. read more

The tech was good with application & shaping, however I let her know during the refill appointment that I had a nail lifting/not bonded to the acrylic. It obviously was not corrected bc a few days later, less than a week, my nail on my right ring finger turned dark brown. I removed the full set w acetone then soaked my finger in alcohol & the nail then turned green. It is still green but growing out. I probably won't return. Since I moved to Houston this is the only nail salon I have used. Last week on Tuesday I went to get a pedicure. The employee assigned to do my pedicure decided to rip-off/yank the protective skin on the side of my big toe nails. She pulled it off all in one strip. I am fighting off an infection. I did not get her name but can tell you she has tattooed eyebrows. read more

Well, I made an appointment and got my pedicure going, dip nails halfway done and the manager pulled my nail tech to another customer. Number 1, my time is valuable and nail salons are a dime a dozen. Number 2, your staffing is not my problem. Which I'm assuming caused this issue. Number 3, this is supposed to be relaxing. My nails look good...but the experience wasn't as great. I was plane out lied to about the price. I called days in advance to get an estimate for my nails and i was told $55, with a 20% discount. However, when I paid, I was told the shape, length, and style were all extra, but I got a basic shape and short nails. Then, I didn't get the full 20% discount they offer on weekdays (which they have hanging on banners around the store). This salon is very clean and the people, especially Laura's hand painted designs are great. They also got us sat down quickly. My 2 grandkids and I loved it and I would recommend it for a fun outing. I was not happy with my experience first of all I waited an hour to have my nails done when she said 20 min. the nail tech I had was ok & did her best.. she did cut my cuticles twice. I payed $82 WITH a 10% discount because she cut me twice for this set that has MANY flaws, I wouldn't have complained if this set were $40. the money is not worth it for this set, I was literally baffled at their prices because I have NEVER payed $82 for JUST a full set alone??? like I'm baffled I expect way more for $82 maybe even a hand massage. Don't spend your money in such a cheap service. First, i went to get my pedicure done, and i chose the deluxe pedicure which was $39.... They asked me if i want shellac and i said yes. 1 star for the beautiful, new salon look. Lots of potential BUT they need some help. VERY few techs and customers on a Saturday afternoon should have been the red flag for me, but I wanted to give them a chance plus I had driven all the way over there. I paid $49 for a (basic) deluxe pedi and my feet look almost as bad as they did when I walked in. I would go into major detail as to why I will never return and was so ready to run out of there to another salon mid pedi, but I don't have enough time or space to write it all. I should not feel shamed to show my feet right now but I do. Though embarrassing, I will add a pic just to show you all exactly how my feet looked moments after paying a lot of money to get them "professionally" done. I encourage you to zoom in. Feet/toes are dry, ashy, dusty, and crusty with a very very very bad paint job. Even my bf said "I thought you went to the salon to get your feet done?" :-( read more

Been here a few times for mani pedi. Not returning. Tried different nail techs and NONE of them do a good job. They're rough and careless. When filing, they file my skin along with my nails. Last time, the woman cut and filed my nails so short, she almost hit the flesh under my nail. Looks awful. Worse: she mangled my toe. She trimmed around the toe nail SO MUCH that the next day, it was raw and inflamed and swollen. Took 7 days to heal. I limped around for a week. Pushy: from the moment I sat down the woman tried to upsell me on services. Offered me multiple other services and wouldn't let up. Then she constantly pushed me to review the salon. I didn't want to but she wouldn't take no for an answer. Kept badgering me for 30 minutes. Even asked to check the posted review. The whole experience was SO STRESSFUL. I fled from there afterward. If you want a decent, relaxing nail job, go anywhere else. Nail salons are a dime a dozen. Find one with properly trained techs who respect their customers. read more

10/10 recommend this establishment. Tea, my nail expert, listens to what I want and responds in kind. Her work is always lovely and she does beautiful nail art as well. The nail tech didn't even finish my set she forgot to add polish and with the oil and lotion I didn't notice til I got home. John at Vie nail & spa is hands down AMAZING!!!!! I don't like when nail techs ask me questions. I get enough of that throughout my daily job. I dropped by on a Friday around noon, and I did not have much of a wait. This location had less customers, so it was a nice quiet, relaxing experience - the music was the only sound I could hear really. I went in for a pedicure, and Dee did a fantastic job. for starters: this plain, single color, mid length set cost me $80. that was including the $10 extra charge for cutting my cuticles that took one minute to do. the width, shape and length are all inconsistent...they would be too thick as well but thankfully he filed them down four times and only made me bleed once. technique was awful. acrylic was so runny when applied that it nearly ran off the side of my nail and onto my skin. my nails are not this wide and i asked for almond shape...lol. aside from the physical nails themselves, the nail tech was passive aggressive. at one point, there was some miscommunication with what i wanted done on my nails. when i brought up that i did not want french tip but instead the whole nail to be red, he visibly looked annoyed and replied "at least i get to leave early now." will not be back other than to get these removed or fixed. last pic is what my nails usually look like!!! read more

I went to the Gosling location for a set of acrylic overlays and pedicure. The salon is visually appealing. First service was pedicure and the tech cut my pinky toe with the foot file badly enough that it bled during my entire service and required gauze and a bandage. My overlays are on my natural nails and I only needed 1 tip, it was put on crooked. Unfortunate because the 3rd tech that finished my finger nails did an adequate job. read more
