I want to start off by saying that I really enjoy this nail salon the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I'm new to the area and when I first tried this place it was because it was extremely close to my house and they had an opening right away, which meant that my husband wouldn't be too long alone with our then new born baby. I got services done by two technicians prior to finding "my guy". Wen does an awesome job, I usually get shellac and the last time he recommended the "dip" which I absolutely loved because my nails are a bit on the thin side which cause them to break easily if they grow long, if I don't have them done. My nails have never broken off and the shellac and dip have never come off since getting them done by Wen. If your nails are in the thin side I would highly recommend the "dip". Also my cuticles grow very fast and Wen always does a fantastic job trimming them. Reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 is because I got a pedicure done last weekend and I was satisfied all the way up to when the technician painted my toe nails (it wasn't Wen doing my pedicure because he was booked with someone else) and I needed my toes done right away, it was very last minute. She missed spots on my nail and got nail polish on my skin each and every time, and my nails weren't filed correctly or enough. I will say though that I called 20 mns before closing and they accommodated me to come in, they were very busy that day which was why they accepted my walk in. They are really good about getting you in right away unless you want someone in specifically, but even then I think it's a pretty decent wait time. As far as price goes it is a pretty average prices. All in all I love Rayford Nails and will continue to come here. :) read more

I'm getting married the day after Thanksgiving and after months of planning, the last thing on my list was wedding nails...I went up here with no appointment and they were able to schedule me for later that evening, right before close! I was so overwhelmed from planning, I didn't want to even pick a color. I really didn't want to even think. Instead, I showed pictures of my dress and accessories, we pulled up pictures of unique wedding nails on Pinterest and I had FOUR ladies that basically became my fairy godmothers...at the very least, they are excellent wedding planners. :-) These ladies stayed late to make sure EVERYTHING was perfect. No reflexology. Want to make clear I did NOT receive services here. But wanted to share my experience. I was looking for reflexology and this pulled up in the search, since it is specifically tagged as a service they offer. Once there, reflexology was not on their menu of services. But that was fine, they had a "therapeutic" add-on. So I asked about it and he didn't understand what I meant. I pointed to the front window that said "foot massage" and he just pointed to the pedicure options, indicating that was the only services, still confused about what I was asking for. This may be a great place with great service, but they did not offer what was advertised. So I came to the Palace Nails Bar around the corner that was very clear they do not offer reflexology, but I'm getting a pedicure and drinking a Bahama Mama and eating slices of watermelon!! So friendly & great customer service. I'm from Louisiana and it's hard to let go of your old nail tech. They were super friendly from the very beginning. I actuallly do my own manicures in between. The owner did my nails & charged half bc I didn't need much work. Who else would do something like that? They explain everything while they work and explain their prices. Always in and out despite the amount of customers. They also do a great job on my hands and feet! read more

Meh. The staff is quiet and shy. Had a guy do my pedicure (not my first choice). Place seems clean-ish. They have a lot of color choices. Had to ask the man not to use the big cheese grater on my heels. I opted for the regular pedicure. That means I get a six minute massage (both feet/legs). He has a soft touch. Wish the pressure was a tad more aggressive. All in all, it's an okay place to get a pedicure. The price is okay, the staff is nice, overall the experience was 'meh'. I give this place 2.5 stars. I went early in the day and it seemed like everyone working there would rather have been somewhere else. Can't blame 'em. read more

I am new to the area and was looking for a new salon. This one was literally 5 minutes from my house and had good reviews so I decided to check it out. I went in for a mani/pedi. They give you a sheet that shows exactly what is included in the different options which is helpful. I decided on the basic mani/pedi which was listed at $35. The pedi was fine, nothing special. The mani was not so good. She didn't cut the cuticles instead she painted over them, she missed taking off some of the paint from my shellac and when I got home I noticed there was still paint on a couple of nails. One of the nails has bubbles on it which again I didn't notice until I got home. She didn't lotion or massage my hands which was always something that was done at any of my prior mani experiences. Everyone was friendly but I will probably not go back for a mani again. As of this morning - less than 24 hours later my nails have some chips. I am glad I did not opt for the shellac this time. I will probably keep trying other salons to find better quality. Side note: salon had funny smell. Not sure of it was coming from the salon or surrounding business but I did get a few a unpleasant whiffs. read more

I did the Deluxe Pedicure for $32 which was a normal pedi with hot wax for my feet and hot towels... Then I did a solar nail full set for $25 and eyebrow wax for $7. My daughter and I had our manicure and pedicure done yesterday. It was kind of last-minute and we need it done in 45 minutes. The lady upfront got us sit it right the way and was really understanding about our time crunch . The service was great and fast but at the same time we didn't felt like we were rushed out of the place.The other great future they give you warrantee for the shellac nails for two weeks, they will fix it if it's get messed up sooner. I never seen other nail salons do such thing . Overall we had a great experience and definitely will be back! read more

Mani pedi cost me $33 and a lot of pain. Was cut on two fingers while they filed. My polish was messed up and when asked to fix a finger the lady just wiped polish of my hand not even acknowledging the messed up polish. This was my 3rd time there and every time I've had issues with getting cut, lazy stylist or just sloppy work. Will not go again! read more

So glad that I finally found "my" nail salon! I have gotten my nails done from all the techs here and always loved the outcome. I never have any issue with nails breaking or coming off prematurely. They are able to do any shape of nails to perfection which has been an issue with previous nail salons that I have tried. I've been coming here for a few years with my girlfriend when visiting from Houston. We have never had issues and our pedis and shellac manis always come out great. Owner is very sweet. They are not overpriced and keep the place and items clean and disinfected. I'm not the biggest fan of doing gel nails on a pillow, on my lap, as I'm getting my feet worked on, trying not to screw up wet paint....feels like juggling, when I would like to relax and be attentive to the conversations with a friend. What a disappointment! I visited a month ago and was persuaded to get a pedicure and was very happy with pedi and acrylics. Today the pedi is horrible and the nails are just ok. The tech left me with uneven nails with sharp corners and it literally looks terrible. I asked for the same tech to do my nails as last time and was told I needed someone else to because she was busy.. The tech seemed like she was new and tried, but I would say I would not go back because again, uneven lengths forced my nails to end up shorter than I asked for. Nails are all they do, and as a licensed cosmetology teacher I believe I am skilled enough to say is ridiculous. read more

I do not recommend this place at all. I went in for a solar refill and was told it was $18. When I saw she was only re-doing the bottom I asked if the white part would be fixed and was then told it was $25 for the entire nail. Then I was told it was an extra $3 just to get them cut shorter. Then she hurt my thumb a few times under the nail. She also had to redo two of my nails because I told her the white tip was almost half of my nail. The end result was short, stubby solar nails. I originally went here because I was told a refill was $18 and I was extremely disappointed with the service. read more
