This would have been fine however we checked in five minutes before our appointment time and waited 20 minutes past it before we were seated. Which I don't mind waiting, but I should not be inconvenienced because the service requested was minimal. The manager is going to ruin this place. If he's not being rude, he's rushing the techs to finish a service that they are working on. Not sure why he's in charge. This was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience on a calm Sunday afternoon. If you expect to have an appointment time honored here at this establishment you will unfortunately be very disappointed. When I arrived for my appointment I was seated in a chair and told the technician I had an appointment with would be right over as the technician was "finishing up" with another customer. So I thought! However, I was left waiting for 40 minutes past my appointment time. During this period, a male staff member showed a feigned interest periodically checking to see what scent of rub I'd like, adjusted equipment and said the technician would be right over; but these actions appeared to be an attempt of a distraction rather than a genuine effort to address the extensive delay. This occurred twice as the male staff member was simply going through the motions with superficial empathy trying to distract from the fact I'd now been there 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. It was only when I decided to politely collect my personal belongings to leave that the technician rushed over to approach me, offer an apology and asked me to stay. She was now "ready" for my appointment. Completely unacceptable, so I departed. At no point during my wait was I offered an explanation, an apology, or any form of compensation. Either would have been appreciated. As a customer, I value your business's time and respectfully expect the same courtesy in return. Had I arrived 40 minutes late, I know my appointment would not have been honored. A little professional courtesy goes a long way. I trust you will take this feedback seriously to ensure future customers do not experience similar disappointing and unprofessional services from your business. I have been a loyal customer to your business for 2 years. Upon checking out today I noticed I was not being billed for all the services I received and immediately let the front desk lady know prior to paying my bill. A lady that I assume was the manager proceeded to talk to the lady that did my toes in a language that I did not understand and raised my bill from $98 to $129. I noticed it was off as it should have only been $16 more for the shoulder massage but I proceeded to pay anyway. After paying I checked my receipt and noticed that I was charged for both gel and cat eye, I went back and explained the lady that I believe was the manager that I only received the cat eye and not the gel, she proceeded to tell me that those 2 fees goes together, I questioned her as this was never disclosed to me and I thought I was only paying for either the gel or cat eye as they are different services. I came here with an appointment and was not started until over half an hour later. The person working on my pedicure was in a rush, and pretending to remove cuticle, without even touching my toenails. I asked her to clean on the sides, she started pulling upwards, causing me a lot of pain. It stopped hurting when she stopped pulling, several hours later, now, it is swollen and hurting a lot! I chose regular polish to give my nails a break from the gel/shellac. She didn't file my nails and painted on top of the creases. I can see the rugged toenails painted, with lighter shades on the corners (I am pretty sure she only did one layer). When I got home, my heels were so rough, I could still see the tissue not having been removed. I went back to the place, the person in charge could not, for the love of God, understand or acknowledge what I was asking. He just offered to fix it. I was appreciative of that, until I noticed I was kept waiting for a while on a day I wasn't counting on having to go back in. I decided to leave, I let him know in a very polite way. I am proud of myself for having kept it together, but it does make me mad that I didn't get a simple pedicure done right from the beginning. I have been going to salon for 2 years. Usually have a good experience and nails look nice. While getting the pedicure the nail tech clipped my nail way too far back. It started bleeding and she put something on it and just apologized. When i got home i cleaned it really good. When I woke up the next morning it was painful to touch and looked horrible. I went to-the dr and they said it was infected. Prescribed me po abx and topical abx. I went to the salon afterwards and spoke to one of the men that i thought ran things. Showed him my toe and he took a picture of it. He said he will have the manager call me back. The next day manager called me back and he just kept apologizing and telling me they can fix my color of my nails. Told him the color is not the problem. Its my affected toe. i cant wear closed toe shoes right now which means i cant work. I told him his nail tech needs to be reeducated on not to go so deep on the side of nail. He just kept appolgizing and told me to bring my doctors bill in. I told him i showed the orher guy my prescriptions of the abx. He just appolgized. I dont know what I expected for being a loyal customer. but definitely more. Maybe at least a refund on my nails. This is my last time coming here! I've been here many times and I've had some issues in the past. I've given them multiple chances. Today my experience was by far the worst. The customer service here is terrible...at least it is for Black women. I noticed a huge difference in how I was treated (poorly) in comparison to their non-black customers. I was not greeted by my pedicure technician, Randy, not offered anything to drink, and my manicure tech, Thu, arrived late. However, other customers around me were immediately offered beverages and their nail techs arrived on time. Plus, my manicurist, Thu, cut me twice, made me bleed and my cuticles are still sore. This is not my first time having an issue with Thu, I caught her giving my nasty glares on another occasion that I was at this salon. When I brought this up to the managers, Duc and Sophia, they did nothing to make this situation right. Sophia did not bother to apologize and when I told her that I had a bad experience she was dismissive and clearly did not care. Duc provided excuses such as "Sorry, we were really busy" which is unacceptable. If they were SO busy, why did other customers receive drinks and better customer service than I did? They gave another excuse that they girl at the front counter is new but she managed to get drinks to everyone else except me. If you screw up, apologize and try to make things right, don't give me excuses. Your managers failed at this. As a black woman, the way I was treated here was deplorable. I was excited to see Bellacio open across the street from my home. I came here a few times for a full set or refill and also for a pedicure. The services left me underwhelmed. Each time my nails did not come out the way I had anticipated. Every time I asked for a particular shape or color, I was told why it wouldn't work, but when I would go to another salon they were able to accommodate my requests. The inside is pretty and they have plenty of chairs and nail stations but I feel like the services and the experience is severely lacking. read more
