8.11.23 This review is for my service on 8.2.23. I was waiting to see if my nails lift, crack or peel off. And they still look good! All I can say is WOW. First this place is cozy. Real cozy and real busy! I did not make an appointment but will definitely make one the next time. There was a least 12-15 people on here when I arrived. That's a lot of people for the size of the salon. Lily did my nails. I always get a cuticle treatment when I get my nails done. Lily did a wonderful job on my nails and cuticles. I will definitely go back.
Chloe did my nails, Kim did my toes! Both ladies amazing!!! Kim got my ingrown and was so kind about it. She didn't full on dig, little at a time and would ask if i was ok and wanted more out. She was so sweet. Just moved here from CA! In CA, gel X is huge! In CA it's common and very known, YES you can get a fill with gel x. Front desk gal looked at me like I was stupid and says "no, it's gel x" I said ya I know, I'm not new to it. Been getting gel X for 2 years WITH fills. Bless Chloe's heart.... She says let's try it. Guess what? 8 days later my nails still are perfect! She took a chance and I was so grateful. Only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is because the front desk girl needs to be a little nicer. They also have sooooooo many amazing colors and brands to choose from.
Not always the best idea to drop in unannounced at the local mail salon but this shop was more than ready for us. Well equipped and well managed, we were seated minutes after arrival. My technician, Jennifer, is a pro handling ingrown nails with skill and working with the most ticklish of feet. Manicures up front are handled well with focus and artistry. Snacks and drinks, including cocktails are complimentary during your visit.
I am kind of a freak when it comes to nails. I went to the Nail Kitchen, and this is the first time I have been impressed with my nails in years. Chloe is fantastic. She was so fast and knew exactly what she was doing. I am very pleased, and will be back.
This was my second visit to the Nail Kitchen and the service there is unmatched! The staff there are prompt, friendly, accommodating, and so understanding! The establishment is clean, everything is to standards and beyond! The space itself is a bit narrow, I have a touch of claustrophobia and noticed it, but honestly, once they get to work you won't notice. Henry and Andy took excellent care of me, I felt pampered and considered. I nearly fell asleep in the chair! I had a car accident years ago that affects my mobility a bit and they were accommodating and understanding. I highly recommend both the business and Henry and Andy!
It's a small place and they were packed. I had my mother with me who is not very healthy. It took maybe 8 minutes till we are in our chairs. Very accommodating. Did i say they have drinks-they do. Even a menu with specialty drinks. Overall it was a great great experience
Went here for the first time today. I arrived with no appointment and was in a rush. Passing through for a wedding. They were amazing! In and out in an hour! Complimentary drinks! The receptionist refilled my wine when empty. She's so nice. The nail tech did an amazing job! Ask for Sam!
My spouse and I got pedicures and I got a gel manicure. Customer service was good but when it came down to get my gel polish the color wasn't the one I choose. I had chosen a nude. Olor and the guy came back with the right number but the color was a light purple not a nude color. So I had him get an off white color. Three days later it started to chip. Then a few days later others started to chip by the 6th day I had at least 6 nails chipped. I couldn't go in on the seventh day since I was coming in back from out of town late at night even though they gave me a guarantee card. As for my pedicure on of my toes started to chip as well. I had went in since it had great reviews even though I have so many other nail salons closer to me. I also didn't like how I had some cuticles that weren't cleaned up very good. I wouldn't go here again for as much as I paid. I don't recommend this place.
We have been coming here for a few months now and for the last two visits they have done an extremely poor job on my daughter's nails they charged her $90 for nails that started to lift with in a week or so and began to break so she was unhappy and decided to express to them how she felt and let them know how she was cut by the nail tech in the process of getting her nails done and wanted to just get the nails removed at this point so the pictures are how they decided to send my daughter out of their shop looking!! When I spoke to the unprofessional young lady with the noise ring and 11 inch nails she began to argue with me instead of hearing me out and when i asked her do you rather make things right or have a review with this image of her nails that you guys did coming out of you guys shop she stated she didn't care!! So here are the pictures!!! ***UPDATE***In Response of the manager- One the pictures clearly show no shape no oil on her hands!! For a manager to make an excuse for a rude employee and poor customer service is unacceptable!
I was looking for a new nail salon so of course I went to Yelp for help. I browsed several nail salons, read reviews and looked a pics so I decided to try the nail kitchen. I had something in mind that I wanted to try so I called and made an appointment. From the moment I stepped in the doors everyone greeted me with a smile, the atmosphere was amazing the music set the mood and the drinks offered are real drinks not your watered down drinks. All of the nail technicians are good at what they do I had Tony I asked and he delivered he did an awesome job and I love my nails. I've found my new spot and so happy that I chose the nail kitchen you guys are the bomb.com.
I have been going to this place for probably a good three years, and I can genuinely say it is so hit or miss every time I go. Depending on who you get, your nails are going to look amazing, or kind of bad. They're usually really great about acrylics, ESPECIALLY when Vanessa does them. Like, the last time I came, best nails I've probably ever gotten, this time they do not look that great, and it genuinely makes me want to cry. The staff is always so kind and make an effort to greet you when you come in. But genuinely some of the staff just needs more experience. Like, I have come in for a pedicure a few times, and repeatedly got the same lady, and she continued to only paint half of my toenail, even after pointing it out. And the guy that I just went to, as sweet as he was, left me with hairs in top coat and some polish on the side of my nails. and it's especially unsettling when you're paying as much as you are, to leave like that. also, beware because they will try and upsell you. Another time. I went to get my graduation nails done and just wanted the lady to backfill with nude powder and put some pearls on them. I was charged $80. 40$ for a refill and 40$ for the pearls, but to add flame to the fire, that day I was on a time crunch and tried to tell the lady not to do them, and she persistently pushed on doing them because it would "only take a few minutes." (I also didn't know it would be 40 extra dollars at that point) so I agreed, but I ended up being stuck there for roughly and extra half an hour, and missed something i was supposed to be at. Again, I will rave about how amazing the attitude of the staff is but, that simply cannot make up for the fact that some people just need more experience for the prices they are charging. In conclusion, it's a fantastic place to get acrylics, but that's really it. I really love this place but I'm starting to get fed up. ----------------------------------------------------- In response to Vanessa- I have no issue with the way y'all conduct matching technicians to clients. I understand the process and it makes complete sense. I understand that when I come in as a walk in, I risk being put with someone who is not going to completely be on the same page as me. And my issue is not with the prices themselves but the quality I get from paying those prices. My frustration is this * My graduation nails were done May 2023, it was a nude backfill (same color) with added pearls (4 pearls per finger). My memory of the exact price of each part of the service may be off but my total regardless was still 80$. And in the middle of my service I told my technician to hold off on the pearls and just paint a top coat and let me go. But, she persisted and pushed me to get the extra detailing even though I already explained I was on a time crunch. I only agreed because she explained in exact words "it would only take a few minutes" and I was not made aware at any point (until check out) that putting them on my nails would add an extra $30+ to my service. In the end, it took significantly longer than I was told and it was not a brand new set so I'm upset that I was basically charged the price of it being one. * I did talk to Alexis this morning, and she was helpful in informing me of the policies. But, that's not changing the fact that my technician genuinely just didn't do a good job on my nails in the first place. He was a very sweet guy with good customer service but, I watched him literally paint fibers back into my nails like it was not an issue. On top of the fact that he could not do basic nail art that I asked for at the beginning of my service. I originally asked for plain black gel with white stars on my ring fingers. He tried twice but each time it came out unproportional and I asked him to just leave the plain gel so he wiped the designs off with the same towel that was consistently getting fibers in my nails. And then to leave and 3 hours later and have a nail, that was completely bare for 2 days consecutively, break. Made me feel even more upset about my service. It felt unprofessional and overall it was just not a good experience. And I was hoping to have an accommodation that felt fair. And even though I did get an accommodation that followed the policies, it still didn't feel like I was given good quality. *update* I got my nails redone at another salon. When the other tech drilled the "fixed" gel mani off, he said it wasn't cured. I'm done, and i'm not coming back here. Sad to see one the places I have stood by for so long screw me over.
This business is SUPER busy and I can't stress that enough. Make an appointment on FB super easy they respond quick. I also had the classic pedi 23.00 which was awesome! As long as you have an appointment they seem to get you right in. I was very happy with my girl her name was Ann I will go back!

I called to set up an appointment and the receptionist, Janee, was so nice and helpful. I walked into the location and was greeted and told to sign. The receptionist came in at a later time and handed me the color options. Chloe was so kind and welcoming, and made me feel right at home. I originally wanted a shellac color, but decided on pink and white, and my nails came out exactly as I wanted! I would definitely come back. After finishing my nails, and noting the price, I additionally asked for a shellac color change on my toes. My toes were painted by Andy. I am pleased by everything I received. My nails and toenails lasted for a month, and I have had no issues with them. I cannot wait to go back! read more

Pro: Andy!!! These 4 stars are for freaking Andy! If you need a pedicure, please go see Andy - he actually did the massage that came with my pedicure and it was soothing for a teacher that stands up often. The owner (the husband) was very nice, courteous, and welcoming and did my "soak-off" in record time. Con: My nails were average at best - not worth $85 (but to be fair a small portion of that was for my soak-off). read more

Again, my girl Moon has done it again. All these techs are really good, not to take any credit for how well they work but once i have my tech I like to keep coming back to her as she knows exactly how I like them and her technique just works for me and unlike other places my nail growth after 4 weeks still looks great. Service requested: fill. Quality: 8/10. Vibe: 7/10. Drove about 25 minutes to this salon & upon arrival I was greeted by the two front desk ladies. They got me checked in and seated. I had a 3pm appointment with Nina that I scheduled online and arrived around 2:35/2:40. I assumed that by saying I had an appointment they would be able to see my appointment was with Nina. This was my first time here and I was recommended to see Mia or Nina. Being that I have never been here I didn't know who was who. I was sat down and began getting my nails done by whom I assumed was Nina. About 10 minutes into the service Nina comes to the front around 3:02 and asks the front desk if her 3pm appt was there, I was sat right by the desk and overheard and said I was there to see Nina and it turned out I was sat down to be worked on by Vanessa. I felt terrible as I was planning on seeing how Nina works on fills but being that the service had been started Vanessa finished my fill. We decided on a basic design and although the work is good, my pinky was cut a bit in the process. It does hurt more that a couple hours have passed but it will heal. Overall, the front desk worker - I forget her name - not Alexis but the other one was so sweet and was making clients drinks, she also makes sure everyone is seated in a timely manner. I opted for a peach ice tea which was not too sweet and at a perfect temperature. It is extremely tight in this salon but the girls and their energetic personalities help the time move quickly. Overall before a $10 tip, it was $80.50 for an acrylic fill with plain pink base and gemstones to mimic stars. read more

My daughter and I were customers from the beginning and absolutely love Vanessa and her extremely talented team of technicians. Sadly we moved during COVID and have yet to find a salon that measures up to The Nail Kitchen. Last weekend I decided I would take the 2.5 hour drive to have my nails done and I have received nothing but compliments. read more

I would definitely recommend Nicole, I got a full set December 18th 2023 and I still have all of my nails on and there has been no sign of lifting and it's been a month!! Ask for Nicole!!! read more
