I will never go to this nail salon again. The nail tech talked on the phone the whole time I was in her chair. She never offered me a drink, nor did she give me the controller to my chair; which is asked for twice but she never responded except to say one minute while pointing at her ear because she was on the phone. The whole 30-45 minutes I was in the chair getting my toes done I had to listen to the manager/owner snoring in the next room. Went for a pedi exactly one week ago today and got shellac polish in my toenails. The polish is already peeling off and the bottoms of my feet feel like sand paper. I used to come to vivid nails years ago and stopped due to vehicle issues. I finally chose to come back and it was okay. They did a decent job, definitely not the best and were priced reasonably. But the last time I went is the last time I will ever spend money there. I always made appointments as soon as they opened and showed up on time. The last time I showed up and had to wait, I was told the person she helped first had made an appointment before me. Which was a lie because I WATCHED her write me in and NOBODY was in the book. I guess she just liked them better. Then she was yanking me around, and filing my nails roughly like she was pissed off. And even the gentleman who was doing my toes looked embarrassed and terrified for me. I have never been treated this way by someone I am paying for a service. The worst part is Vicky is the owner, but with that attitude and unprofessionalish im surprised she has any business at all. If you want to spend money to be treated poorly then head to dicks last resort at least you get a meal and a drink with it. I will never ever go back here. read more

I looked through the review and thought it would be a good idea to cone here. I really was expecting nice nails. After telling the older gentlemen what I wanted. He didn't under, so another lady came to translate and this is how it was all throughout the session, which is fine. However, they were not listening to me. I would tell them on thing and they would do another, like if I did not even ask them to do something. They were just doing what they wanted. I told the guy he needed to fix my nails and they they were crooked, and he just didn't pay me no mind. I felt like I was talking to the wall. I even had to pull my hand back so he can pay attention to what I was telling him. I also told him he needed to clean the residue under the nails and on my fingers but was ignored. They acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. Yet it is my request, of what I WANT so I'm not sure why they just ignored it and did what they wanted to. After going back and forth with one of the older ladies she was raising her voice and I was already frustrated of everything that had went wrong and I told her it was okay to leave it alone, since the guy had already began painting the gel polish on me. Overall, bad customer service. I really was expecting some nice straight nails, I didn't even want anything complicated. Not sure if the guy just didn't know how to do nails properly or if I came on a bad day. Definitely not going back. My regular nail shop had a 45 minute wait, so I yelped surrounding nail salons and found this one. It is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. I walked in and was greeted and asked what I would like done. I told them I needed a pedicure and sat on a small bench waiting for my turn. They were very busy doing nails. There were 3 ladies in the back finishing up with their pedicures. I chose the $50 option and was told it was an extra $15 for shellac. I've never been charged for polish before, so that was strange. I was offered a drink, so I went with water, but I was not immediately helped. The water was put in the tub, but then I was left unattended for at least 10 minutes. Another lady was moved from the nail area to the pedicure area and was helped immediately. Maybe she was a regular?? When I finally was helped, my nail tech was extremely nice. I can just tell the different level of service based on my regular place. I did appreciate the fact that their cleaning tools were prepackaged and she had to open them to use them! That was my favorite part! I didn't enjoy the herb/lotion mixture... It looked like dried oregano mixed with lotion. I did not like that at all. Maybe if they explained what it was while using it?? Overall, I was happy with my toes. It was an ok experience. At least I know it is clean if I ever get in a bind with my regular nail place. read more

She could tell some of my nail beds were very tender due to previous work And she took the time to remove the previous work with a tender touch. I asked many questions about the shape of my natural nail & how to get keep them healthy while wearing these nails..she was very knowledgeable. Her creation for my hands resulted in thin, real natural nails!! Pedicure has said crisp and shiny for 7 days so far!!! Several customers seemed to be repeat customers. I'm not one to ever leave reviews but this was genuinely the worst nail experience I've ever had in my life. To start off, I have naturally long nails that I get dip on. I usually go to a nail salon in the woodlands but my typical nail artist was on vacation so I had no choice. When I walked in the place was very dirty, had gross and sad paint colors, and looked extremely outdated. I sat in a chair when he began the removal. You'd think they'd use acetone or foils but no.. THIS GUY SHOVED A FAKE NAIL UNDER THE ACRYLIC AND STARTED RIPPING IT OFF. I was in so much pain I told him to stop and he proceeded to take them off the way any normal person should. I then got switched over to a women. When she was drilling the acrylic off of my nails she proceeded to break 3 OF MY NAILS IN THE PROCESS. I started to confront her about how aggressive she was and she chopped it off to "I can just put tips on" as if it was no big deal. I was planning on getting designs but at that point I wanted to get out as fast as possible. She also filed my entire finger when shaping. My nails didn't turn out too terrible but I still left bawling my eyes out from how much pain I was in. Not to mention I paid $55 when I usually pay $45 for way better. read more

I would say this place earned 4 stars for my mani pedi. The place was clean. The staff were friendly. The environment WOULD HAVE been relaxing except two horrible obnoxious ladies we're in there. One asked so many questions and the other giggled like a 9 year old, and she brought her 2 boys and their iPads.... I won't go into detail but if I could rate the 2 other ladies that were beside me and across from me I'd rate them obnoxious, immature, loud.... And I wasn't able to relax and enjoy my pedi but this is not the salons fault. But this is my experience. I also had an under arm wax and she was wonderful. Quick and as painless as possible. $18 for the under arm wax, $12 for the Spa manicure $32 for the Sea salt pedi (40 min) (Cucumber melon smelled) I like that they put a bag in the pedi tank. I'm sorry to say I won't go back. But not because they did anything wrong. They always fit us in as walk-ins, are always super friendly, prices are typical and the ambiance is what you would expect. I would say the pedicures and basic manicures are just OK. Not bad, but not great either. I feel like we either get too much polish bunched on so that even an hour later they smudge, or it just doesn't look perfect. I can do my nails, going to get them done is a treat, so I expect them to be better than I can do them at home. Overall, we will probably go back. There aren't too many options nearby and as I said, they are OK. Just don't expect the 4.5 stars shown. read more

Had 4 different people work on them because apparently not everyone can do dip. The 3rd lady ripped up 3 of my fingers and couldn't do coffin. The head lady in charge fixed them, having to redo everything. The whole time they were talking about me because I would ask them to fix something and they were upset. At the end I left a small tip which they were also upset about. My friend got Shellac and was left with holes on her fingernail (we're guessing from the machine) and the man told her she had a crooked finger not that he wasn't cutting properly. DONT COME HERE. My second time coming here, the first time I was a bit nervous. Larry took care of me very well and he knew what I wanted on my first visit French ombré ! This time around I got a new set and I wanted a pink neutral color and I also got pedicure everyone was working on me from taking off my old set to getting started on my pedicure. I went in on a Thursday around lunch just to get a shellac manicure first I get a lady who I've never seen and I've been going here for over 4 years since I was a freshman in highschool, I'm now 20 and the lady didn't know what I was talking about when I said white tips on my SHELLAC MANICURE she thought I wanted to add tips and get a fucking full set so the guy had to clarify with her that she needed to paint the tips on, second the white tops are messy and there is extra white paint all over my nails after they've been cured already! Oh then I always used to get my hands rubbed in lotion during a shellac manicure but this tip she rubbed fucking cuticle oil all over my hands... and then I was done went to check out and the price is now $40!!!!??? No for that price I should've gotten a little more Ik prices have changed with inflation but Jesus this was my worst experience! The nail tech left me in polish remover chemicals for over 40 minutes to remove dip off my Real nails, she was rude when I complained about it. Then started my mani and filed my nails short when they was long, couldn't even get the shape right!!!! It looks like a 4 year old did my nails . The polish remover spent more time w my nails than the tech. Horrible service with filthy filthy plexiglass. Past few times I have come here, my nails have been sloppily painted. I get gel nails, and they don't let them cure enough under the black light before they keep painting the next layers of polish. Due to moisture underneath, my nails are bubbling under the polish. It looks very tacky. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited two weeks until my next appt. so see if it would be any better. To no avail, it looks worse than my first manicure with them. Then on top of that, they told me the reson that my nails looked bubbly was because, "The other salon has cheap polish, thats why". What is sad, is that I GOT IT THERE!!!! Then they wanted to charge me $5 to take off my previous gel polish. Other salons, as long as you got the previous service done there, they would never charge for that since you are renewing your service. Very sad, although I will say their pedicures are decent, but the water can never get warm enough to become HOT. Extremely disappointed with the results.
