Excellent experience! Today was my first time, and my first nail salon experience since moving from California. Very pleased with the customer service and nail service. They asked me if I wanted something to drink, and they were very attentive about what I wanted and how I wanted my nails. Great products and very efficient. I will be a returning customer:) A year later....I revised my post to 3 stars. After coming to Vivid on about 7 more occasions, I was not too impressed with consistency. It was more inconsistent. I love the female owner, she has been so great, but for everyone else, they are just mediocre for their prices. I would get my acrylic's on, and they would be different lengths or crooked. I asked to have them evened out, and still be crooked or uneven. For those prices, they need to bring their game up to par. read more

The service I received here was the best I've received from any/all other salons....ever!! They didn't talk mess about you in their language or ask any nosy, unnecessary questions. Me & my sister went to get pedis. Both of our ladies were really sweet. Best way I can describe their vibe is 'motherly' lol, but for real! They were extremely patient with us & did a great job! It was slightly packed while we were there & from the looks of everyone else getting their nails/feet done, I'd say they seemed very comfortable, satisfied & happy too. We gave them a big tip! Got my nails done approximately 1 week ago and was disappointed with the results. Two days later I had a broken nail and one week later I had 2 nails come off.. they were not even at all (crooked), some were bigger than the other hand that I had to file them down on my own. Some of the nails were just slanted and it was just not what I expected. They were too thin and the ombré I got didn't even look like it was blended.. I got a gel pedicure and a full set. The gel pedicure wasn't bad but I could tell the nail tech was in a rush to finish and that I did not like especially since I called ahead of time to see if they had the time. Barry did my full set and he did an amazing job, beautiful nails! However, he had an attitude with me and talked to me like I was dumb up until the moment I payed. Funny. We got there at like 2 we immediately got our toes done but I sat there for an hour waiting for someone to do my nails then finally someone takes me but she starts to rush to get them done Because other people were coming in and first off my nails were too expensive for her to be treating my nails like that the shape wasn't good and some of the tips were thick so they looked weird I don't remember the ladies name but she was really rude she was like yelling at this kid because the kid wasn't understanding her and when my mom finally got to get her nails done it was already 4 and the lady tried to make it easier on her self so she tried to tell my mom that the color she picked was better for her whole nail instead of just the tips she was just rushing us and we walked out have to pay 165 dollars just for this one lady to rush and they weren't even that good we did not tip read more

I walked in and was told to pick a color and sit at the pedicure chair, a little bit after they came and set up the water. A few minutes after I walked in, a mother and daughter walked in and were told to do the same. After about half an hour they began doing the other lady's feet before mine. I said okay, I'll continue waiting. Then when there was another lady available to do nails, she started on the other girls nails who arrived after me as well. I was there for almost an hour soaking my feet and TWO people were taken care before me. Will not return. read more

Fell in love as soon as I sat in the chair. Very friendly people, quality work, and I will be coming back for another pedicure.

I stopped in based on yelp reviews & I am very happy I did. It's not a 'fancy' nail salon but it was clean & they did an excellent job on both my pedi & nails. I have had a hard time finding a salon that does a good job consistently with the dip powder. It's always too thin, too thick, bumpy or unnatural. I will definitely return because I haven't been this pleased with my nails in a while! read more

I showed up at 11am for a pedi with my sister. I was greeted and taken to the back to a chair. We waited for over half an hour and wasn't communicated with the entire time. After waiting for over 30 min we decided to leave. Nobody even apologized or nothing for the lack of customer service. Somebody letting us know that there was a waiting period would've made a huge difference in our experience. For my first time I wouldn't come back ever. read more

I will certainly never return here. Their prices & services are not listed anywhere on their walls. I came in needing eyebrow and lip wax. A person asked me what I wanted then directed me to sit at a nail station sitting opposite someone that was in the middle of getting their nails done! Then a very nice young woman walked up to me and displayed that this was the place to get waxed..... at a nail station in the middle of the entire salon where multiple people were looking. It was incredibly embarrassing to be watched during this. There was not a table or place to lay, so I sat upright as she moved my face to try to place wax where it needed to go. Needless to say that this caused my eyebrows to now be basically flat! After she waved she did not trim what was left with scissors and barely tweezed hairs left over. I watched her make facesand talk with other people around me. Not only did she do a mediocre job, but she had an audience watching it! Never again. read more

I've had better, but definitely not awful. For the price, it was pretty good. However, their milk and honey scent - my favorite at other salons- smelled awful. Not sure if it is just the brand or that it has gone bad, but it smells sour! read more

I've been wanting to try this place out and today I finally did it! I walked in and got seated right away. I don't get pedis regularly because I get paranoid about getting infections. Vivid is very clean. They put a plastic liner on the tub and use clean set of instruments for each client. I know in other places they just rinse the tub with hot water for a few seconds which is not enough. Helen did my pedi. As soon as I got seated she offered me drinks. She was very thorough and did a superb job. I'm very happy with the service and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place. read more

Vivid nails have been my go to place since they opened. Took a friend from out of town there & she has lived all over the world. Said best job she had ever had on her nails. Some times I have to wait, but probably because I never make an appointment. Walk in when I have time. But I expect people that have appointments to be seen before me. They have always told me how long it should take & if I need to come later. Very reasonable. Just ask for what you want. read more

I like to read reviews before I go anywhere... so I went off of the reviews I saw on Yelp and went to Vivid Nails for my wedding nails. I went on a Friday morning, so there weren't too many people there. It was relaxing, but I wish they had TVs or magazines or something while you wait. I didn't do anything complex at all as far as designs. I asked for blue on my toenails and white with sparkles on my fingernails. They missed the edges on the majority of my fingernails, which made them look chipped. They ended up chipping within 3 days... I'm not sure if it was the job they did or the polish they used. Either way, not impressed. I'll just do my own nails from now on. read more

I just want to say how nice the staff here was since the moment I stepped foot in. They already have pretty good reviews and I can see why! Vicky did my nails and was very nice and asked if I liked my nails throughout the session. They were understaffed and I had to wait a couple of minutes to get my nails done, but it's understandable and I did not mind at all. They handled their pop very well. So staff was nice, got offered drinks twice, which was super sweet. Last but not least, she did an AMAZING job on my nails. Just went here for the first time and I'm so happy I found them! Very gentle and thorough when doing a massage and cleaning up the cuticles. All I wanted was a pedicure and I'm now glad to have a new favorite salon instead of driving into Spring. Loved the herbal pedicure with Lavender! I've been coming to this shop for at least 3 yrs off and on. I've gave my business even when things were not done the way I wanted because customer service usually makes up for it but not the last time I visited. I came in 9/16/18 with every intention to get a pedicure and a FULL SET. I got my previous set done here and within a week one of my nails cracked, so I went in to get it fixed for free and that was no problem with them. But days after other nails started to crack so when I went in that day I told them You can TAKE ALL OF THEM OFF INSTEAD OF FIXING AND REFILLING. I will pay for a FULL SET. While i was getting my pedicure a gentleman came up to me and said "oh you want a fullset? Why not just get a refill?" I said no it's okay i'll get a fullset. Then the man turned away and laughed and shook his head...this is where I went off. I said "This is what i'm asking and paying for you to do, if it's a problem I can go elsewhere. Do I need to? I got my nails done HERE just for them to not even last a full two weeks. So I want it done right." Now that I made it clear I would leave after my pedicure apologies from staff started to roll in. "We are so sorry, he'll do it for you. Blah blah blah blah" I put up with a lot of inconsistency at this location because it was convenient for me but that day I realized that there is too much competition to be disrespected and not have quality work done. I ended up finishing my pedicure, paid and went down the Street to Oscar Nails & Spa and got a beautiful set done. I will not be recommending Vivid Nails to my friends or family moving forward. read more
