I just got home from getting a pedicure here for the first time and MAN am I impressed. My husband called in to make me an appointment and I was in a chair within 30 minutes. Hands down, the best pedicure I've ever gotten. Afterwards, I sat to dry my toes and she was asking about a manicure, I was like I wasn't planning on getting a manicure today. She seemed confused and asked if I was sure and I said yes. TELL NE WHY I GET HOME AND MY HUSBAND WAS LIKE WHY DIDN'T YOU GET YOUR NAILS DONE I didn't realize he set the appointment for both. My husband and I came in and had the European pedi for $30 they lasted about 45-50 minutes. Hubby was pleased at how well they scrubbed his calluses off his feet. Just a warning: after the salt scrub is applied to your legs both technicians scrubbed with their fingertips roughly and it was actually a little too much at times, and my husband has a small scratch on his ankle that bled a little. Place is small. There were only two people there when we can in. They had just finished up a couple, and as soon as they were painting my toenails another couple came in for pedis. They didn't offer us a drink like most places do. And I didn't ask for one so I'm not sure if they have waters of you ask. 5 pedi chairs line the left wall, 4 manicure stations line the right wall. I was looking for a place to get my nails done since I just moved to Conroe and I came across this salon on yelp. I decided to trust the reviews and make an appointment.. I will not be going back. Although my nails aren't god awful they're crooked, longer than what I showed and asked for, the man who did them made me bleed and not only didn't apologize but also continued to make the cut worse while it was obviously bloody, and he shaved off the color and refused to fix it. He did not say a word to me while I attempted to strike up conversation, he only nodded his head and didn't make any efforts for socialization. The second a customer who I assume was a regular came in he dropped everything and was talking to her and very gentle and careful with her nails and it made me feel unimportant. I paid $25 for the "basic" pedicure (they also offer an "Express Pedicure" for $22) and $30 for an acrylic refill and gel manicure, so $55 total. Most of the businesses opening today are so large and have a ton of employees. QT was very welcoming, kind, and agreed to see me early. The young woman (manager's wife) started in my nails until another appointment arrived. Andy, the manager finished my shellac manicure. They were both very attentive and took their time. It was the BEST manicure I have ever gotten. The thorough job and articulate work that was done, on just a plain(no artwork) paint job, was amazing! Not bad, but nothing fantastic. I went in for a basic manicure because I didn't feel like trimming my own cuticles. I'm a little disappointed that the ends of my nails were left rough instead of buffed smooth. And I really wish the lady would have used the cuticle nippers to cut and trim my cuticles instead of tugging and pulling at them. I was so worried she was going to rip my skin that I was nauseous by the time she was done. The polish job looked ok, but I told her I didn't want the fast drying top coat because it makes my polish peel since I have natural nails. She pulled out another bottle of top coat and right on the front it said "fast dry" but she insisted it wasn't. It makes a little nervous to think they don't keep things in a properly labeled container since this is required and regulated by the State Board of Cosmetology. But she didn't keep getting up and walking away and she didn't chat with her coworker the whole time while doing my nails so I really appreciated that. Edit: Well, less than 12 hours after my manicure, my polish is chilled and peeling. This happens when a fast dry top coat is used on my nails, just like what I told the lady. I don't appreciate being flat out lied to. This place deserves less than 1 star. read more

I went in today for a manicure and to get my eyebrows waxed. I called ahead of time to see if they accept walk-ins and they do which is already an A+. The place is kind of small but its very clean and neat and only had three employees. A younger girl, a gentleman, and an older woman. A lot of my friends go here and highly recommended. They told me to go in and request for the gentleman and I thought was going to get him but I ended up getting the older woman. I have nothing bad to say about the place. Althought, i wish she would have done a little better job on my shellac. I paid roughly $38 plus a $5 dollar tip. I will be recommending. read more
