I did a French tip shellac on my real nails because I don't like acrylic or anything that will weaken my real nail. It was very relaxing as usual and they were joking around with me when is it my turn to get married. Little did I know at the time that my bridesmaid nails were also going to be my engagement nails!! The shellac stayed on my nails beautifully for my vacation & engagement the following week. It didn't chip at all the whole time I kept it on my nails, I lasted about 3.5 weeks before taking it off because my nails were getting too long. I was asked if I had made an appointment when I walked in and I said no. The guy manager asked if I could come back. I asked how long the wait was and they said an hour. I elected to wait. Lynn did my pedicure and it was amazing. They were trying to do my refill and pedicure at the same time, and I did not want that. I gave the lady my colors early and by the time it was time to get my nails done... the colors came up missing and the guy manager was fussing saying I should do shellac as it is easier. I said no, I want powder. I attempted to locate the colors again and we were starting the process and the lady was asking my length/shape. I asked about pricing and she stated $10/color. I kept the length short - she stated $52, no biggie. THEN, she says no, $62 as I calculated wrong. I let her know for a refill that would be way too much. The guy manager was stating it was due to the colors and I asked for a detailed explanation of each cost. He fussed. And I said no, thank you. By that time, the lady had changed one of my hands nail shape and when I was paying I noticed. I asked the guy manager for them to fix it back. He obliged. As she was fixing my nails she made small talk, and I appreciated that. During the small talk, I asked her how much if y'all had done a full set.. she calculated and stated the same price as a refill. I asked why not just do a full set then if it was the same price? She asked her manager and he stated they were busy and couldn't. I, of course was ok with that, because that solution should have been given at the beginning of the conversation as a way to rectify the issue. I tried to give this place a chance after Snow had left, but I have only ever had good visits with Snow there. If you do decide to come, just make sure you only want one or two colors as it seems to be an issue when you want four colors. LOL.

On the following day I'm down five nails and others lifting in less than 24 hours. I informed them that these nails are for a wedding that I will be in that Saturday and they told me to come back Saturday or Sunday and they could fix them. Therefore after the wedding and would completely defeat the purpose. They refused a refund and wouldn't allow me to speak to the owner. I will NEVER come back to this place. If possible they would get zero stars from me.

Instead of help, the guy at the front laughed and said they didn't have time or staff. Being laughed at as a customer is crazy work. Called another salon with the same closing time and was immediately welcomed, treated kindly, had my nail fixed not even a new nail placed on just an overlay to secure it back and even booked my refill appointment -- all before 7 PM. From the time I stepped in the door, their Manager (Duke) was extremely welcoming and helpful. I wanted to try something new and he shared all options and pricing with me, and even made up a nail comparing two similar polishes so I could make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Seven was the nail technician that I was assigned to, and he was WONDERFUL! Very detail oriented. He had a very quiet and kind demeanor as well which made the experience very enjoyable.
