I gave the lady my colors early and by the time it was time to get my nails done... the colors came up missing and the guy manager was fussing saying I should do shellac as it is easier. I said no, I want powder. I attempted to locate the colors again and we were starting the process and the lady was asking my length/shape. I asked about pricing and she stated $10/color. I kept the length short - she stated $52, no biggie. THEN, she says no, $62 as I calculated wrong. I let her know for a refill that would be way too much. The guy manager was stating it was due to the colors and I asked for a detailed explanation of each cost. He fussed. And I said no, thank you. By that time, the lady had changed one of my hands nail shape and when I was paying I noticed. I asked the guy manager for them to fix it back. He obliged. As she was fixing my nails she made small talk, and I appreciated that. During the small talk, I asked her how much if y'all had done a full set.. she calculated and stated the same price as a refill. I asked why not just do a full set then if it was the same price? She asked her manager and he stated they were busy and couldn't. I, of course was ok with that, because that solution should have been given at the beginning of the conversation as a way to rectify the issue. I tried to give this place a chance after Snow had left, but I have only ever had good visits with Snow there. If you do decide to come, just make sure you only want one or two colors as it seems to be an issue when you want four colors. LOL.

It wasn't so busy that I had to wait, but I definitely wasn't the only customer inside. I got a manicure and a pedicure and asked for acrylic on my natural nails with regular polish on my toes. The pedicure was mediocre. Nothing special, and I felt like my technician was really phoning it in for the massage. My manicurist Olivia was very nice and friendly, but I really don't like my manicure. Maybe it's not her fault, but I had no idea that an acrylic full set meant getting a neutral acrylic base on my nails and then shellac gel polish on top of that. I'm use to whatever color I get, that's the color of the acrylic powder (no, not dip) and then a clear coat on top. My nails are very bubbly and super thick. They almost flare out at the tips and just look odd; specifically my thumbs- they just look bad. This place is about 30 minutes away from me, so a drive if I were to make this place my new go to spot. The pricing is very good, but the quality was just not there. I'm interested to see how long they hold up. I most likely will not be returning because the drive is not worth the meh results. They do offer 10% off to anyone who is willing to write a Yelp or Google review. I also saw a discount for first responders. I'm not sure if they have other discounts or offer percentages off to teachers or other occupations, or if they have any sort of happy hour or discount days.

She sat down and started filing. She never asked if I liked my nails, the color or the design. I tried to chat but it's like she just hated me from the get go. To top things off, my nails don't even sorta match the picture. They didn't have to be perfect, but at least try. She didn't give 1 crap, and I still tipped $ her. Why is it that we NEVER see a menu for our nails and we Always get a menu for our toes? The place had good radio music. It was clean enough and most of the staff did smile at me. Maybe I'll go back and try a different person but I really don't know how to feel right now.
