I visited this location again to get a little TLC as I had free time before visiting a friend. They were busy but that was because they were short staffed. I was asked if I had made an appointment when I walked in and I said no. The guy manager asked if I could come back. I asked how long the wait was and they said an hour. I elected to wait. Lynn did my pedicure and it was amazing. They were trying to do my refill and pedicure at the same time, and I did not want that. I gave the lady my colors early and by the time it was time to get my nails done... the colors came up missing and the guy manager was fussing saying I should do shellac as it is easier. I said no, I want powder. I attempted to locate the colors again and we were starting the process and the lady was asking my length/shape. I asked about pricing and she stated $10/color. I kept the length short - she stated $52, no biggie. THEN, she says no, $62 as I calculated wrong. I let her know for a refill that would be way too much. The guy manager was stating it was due to the colors and I asked for a detailed explanation of each cost. He fussed. And I said no, thank you. By that time, the lady had changed one of my hands nail shape and when I was paying I noticed. I asked the guy manager for them to fix it back. He obliged. As she was fixing my nails she made small talk, and I appreciated that. During the small talk, I asked her how much if y'all had done a full set.. she calculated and stated the same price as a refill. I asked why not just do a full set then if it was the same price? She asked her manager and he stated they were busy and couldn't. I, of course was ok with that, because that solution should have been given at the beginning of the conversation as a way to rectify the issue. I tried to give this place a chance after Snow had left, but I have only ever had good visits with Snow there. If you do decide to come, just make sure you only want one or two colors as it seems to be an issue when you want four colors. LOL. read more

Truly disappointed in this salon and how the staff handle the issue. I got a gel x full set on a Thursday around 3:45 and by 8 pm 2 had already come off. On the following day I'm down five nails and others lifting in less than 24 hours. I informed them that these nails are for a wedding that I will be in that Saturday and they told me to come back Saturday or Sunday and they could fix them. Therefore after the wedding and would completely defeat the purpose. They refused a refund and wouldn't allow me to speak to the owner. I will NEVER come back to this place. If possible they would get zero stars from me. read more

I want to say first and foremost that the nail techs did a good job on the service-mine was excellent, my sisters did a good job with exception to the French tops being thick as Number 2 pencils. Excellent job cleaning up the nails, very considerate and listened! They did a wonderful job, and it is much appreciated. However, many other things were lack luster. I would suggest they take a spa out of the name, as upon entering, it was not a spa atmosphere. There was some rave type music playing in the background, several employees were sitting in the chairs, one had her phone on, and was watching something on speaker as loud as possible, and what I believe was a manager at one point with his cell on speaker that we could hear with his door open from the back office. One of the other employees was in one of the chairs getting their own pedicure done by one of the additional employees. It felt more like we were in the break room. It was not relaxing, it was quite a bit of sensory overload. A solid almost 30 minutes before closing they started cleaning up and shutting down with us still inside (closes at 7 on Saturday). Thankfully, they shut off the music, But they also shut off the ventilation (was already a strong chemical smell inside - instant headache), and two employees (one of who was assumed to be a manager) was saying F-you back and forth with an employee (being playful, but still incredibly unprofessional) but none of this was relaxing as we had hoped. read more

I haven't had my nails done in a long time. I am what you could call old-school acrylic nails. I went in as a walk in and they took me, sat me down, and treated me very well. Price was reasonable, as far as price considering these days. I went in on a Thursday late afternoon, there were a lot of people there. But they were still taking walk-ins. I have tried acrylics from many different places, and all of them have ended up terrible so I went to lavender because I had heard amazing things and knew people from A&M who would drive 45 minutes just to get their nails done here. They have very decent prices considering the quality of acrylics they offer and helped me figure out how to make my nails look the best! I have prom in a few months and I for sure will be doing some crazy nails with these guys. Tim gave me the best nails I have ever gotten done and I will be returning to him again. Niki was genuinely kind & happy, above and beyond incredible massage with the mani-pedi, she knew how to handle natural nails with care & not over file or buff them which will damage. I went in to get a refill, I have always paid $25 for a refill if I use the same color. Yesterday they tried to charge me 35. I guess they think they can just make up the prices and ignore what their menu says. If I could give less than a one star, I would. I have lived in Montgomery for one year. Lavender nails is the only salon that I have gone to for my nails, pedicures, and eyebrows. I am in their salon at least once a month. I have never had a problem or a situation until today. Last Wednesday I was there getting my eyebrows done, I asked the sweet lady to trim my eyebrows, she did but barely, and she just cleaned them up. I was in a hurry. So I really didn't notice how long the end of my eyebrows still were until the next dayThanksgiving... (no big deal I'll go back on Monday) because I was out of town with family over the weekend for the holiday. So today (Monday) on my way coming into town at 4:45pm. I pull up to the salon. They do not have one person in the whole salon that they are taking care of, not 1 customer and they close at 7pm. The owner or manager walks up to me and I asked if they could just trim the ends of my eyebrows and I explained what had happened, Literally it would take 5 seconds. Not thinking it was any big deal whatsoever. He said no! that I should've asked for it at the time of service. I told him I understood that, and she did trim them a tiny bit, but I was in a hurry and didn't really notice. He once again said no!! I needed to ask at time of service. He was extremely unprofessional and honestly very rude. I believe customer service is what makes or brakes a business. My career Is also in customer service. I get it when you have clients or customers that push limits or take advantage of you, But this was not the case. I paid around $15 for an eyebrow "clean up"wax and then tip $5.00 dollars. Come back a couple of days later, and say, could you please just trim the ends of my eyebrows?? He doesn't even do eyebrows!? he doesn't know anything about eyebrows! I've been having my eyebrows waxed since I was 12 years old. I'm 51 now . Please don't tell me how to ask or what I need to do on the way I want my eyebrows taken care of. I think I have it by now. He was over the top RUDELY unprofessional, So, just remember it doesn't matter how often you go to their salon they do not care, and you will be treated poorly. I went in for an acrylic service & 3 days later half of my nails popped off. I get my nails done often & I know they usually last 3 weeks. My real nails are short, they told me that with the length I chose & my real nails being so short that was the reason they fell off. They also said it's my fault because I needed to care for them better, again I've had my nails done a lot & I have literally never had this happen.They told me they were going to have to charge me $20 for a $75 plus tip service that didn't last 3 days. My family has lived in the area and has been looking for a good nail place. I just moved here and gave this place a try and was beyond impressed. Just as my luck would have it, the power went off right as I sat down for a pedicure. They told me I could reschedule and come back or they'd still do my pedicure if I wanted, even though the power was out. I said I'd like to stay and they did an excellent job, even without lights. No one complained, they were beyond accommodating and just wonderful. I've already told my mom and sister that this is our new place. Very happy with the atmosphere and end product. read more

Left glue, and paint on my fingers. After only one nail was done I asked if I could get a different shade. She claimed she didn't have it. She obviously just didn't want to change it. The white lines aren't straight at all, and are uneven all around. Also just mean to my son. He is two and knows how to throw his own trash away. They told him to get away from it. After I asked him to throw his trash away. I guess they assumed he was going to get into it. I was looking at nail colors, and gave my son one to look at. He was sitting still, and just looking at the colors. I was told to take it from him. Malibu in Montgomery does a nicer job, and always has a good attitude towards my little boy! read more

Went here because of the reviews, rude staff. Rough with peoples hands and damaged my nails. Didn't take the time to properly remove my nails either. Instead of soaking my nails they drilled them off and hurt my nails. Don't recommend at all for people who care about the health of their nails. read more

First and last time trying this place. They are very COVID compliant - however my manicure was atrocious. I asked the older gentleman doing my nails to file them down some... instead he filed them down as far as he could go without breaking the skin. The shape of my nails were haphazard and with how low he filed there was no room for correcting. He clearly could tell I was not happy and left what I assume was a manager try to salvage my nails. Super upset, probably more because I'm about to go on a trip and I have these awful nails to take with me. Don't recommend. read more

I drove all the way from plantersville got here at 4:40pm, they asked me what I needed I said all I needed was a pedicure. They answered saying they were close, I was confused because the sign said opened and I even checked the website and they did not close until 5pm. They then proceeded to say they didn't have anyone left to do pedicures because everyone had left, there was a lady doing nails on one table and the person talking to me could have obviously done them but decided to turn me away anyways losing money and a potential costumer. I've been to plenty of places who still take costumers when there is only 20m left. I'm staying in town and wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. I called first to see if I needed an appointment and they said I can walk in or make an appt. I made one and when I got here I was immediately told to pick a color and sit in the pedicure chair. Being my first time here, I walked to the back and saw all the colors on the back wall. I picked a color and sat down. The gentleman started the water for the pedicure and then told me it was $5 more for the color i chose. I asked why and he said something about it being a premium color (?) so i said ok I want that color in a regular brand please. He walks away and I did not notice but the water overflowed all over the floor in my pedicure bowl. I was staring to think I was working with the new guy. It was cleaned up immediately. Some time goes by and the staff is talking and laughing so I'm just sitting here waiting and i ask if everything is ok. He says yes and starts my pedicure. I was hoping for mani and pedi at the same time (I assumed this would happen) so I ask. Cons: I was not offered anything to drink and I don't know if they don't do that here but that is pretty standard these days. They use the cheese grater looking thing to remove skin and I'm against that. They offered to use the pumice bar only so I appreciated that but he did not seem to do it long enough to get all the dead skin off. The pedicure was like 20 mins long. Pros: The chairs are epic. I enjoyed the massage. I chose the mind body relief option. I did not have to wait (I came at 11am during the week). The manicurist did a great paint job. The pedicurist did an awesome massage. Short. But deep and nice. Overall I will not be returning. It is a standard Asian run shop. Nothing amazing here in my opinion. Well I was highly disappointed in the guy that was doing my nails, I asked for a full set and I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he said No. I asked him if he could do something similar, didn't have to to a drawing or anything and he still said no. Then I told him I just wanted acrylics with powder, no dip and he kept wanting me to do dip nails. I also told him I wanted then short but round/oval and once he cut them short I reminded him what shape I wanted and he got mad and said he couldn't do that because he had cut them already to short... ? He was to busy wanting to help someone else and looking at the other customer someone else had to finish my nails.
