I also have fully natural nails that I'm very prideful of. I worked hard to get them thick and strong. I got my nails painted with gel polish, the execution was horrible. First I'll say I felt like the lady who did my nails had an attitude and she was being really aggressive pulling my hand or hitting my hand away. Anyways, back to the execution, it was rushed and poorly done. There was excess polish on my ends, some nails didn't have enough polish and also there was missing polish on the side of my nails making it look like someone took a bite out of it. Today (Thursday 2 days later) I go in asking for a removal because I couldn't stare at the bad work any longer. And instead of soaking my nails, they filed it down so much that my nails that I worked so hard for feel like PAPER. I've been there one time before and the girl I had was AMAZING, so I thought it'd be the same this time. But nope. Now I have to start over from scratch to make my nails stronger. I won't be back here ever again.

Having a…read morelengthy conversation before Tina started my set, I explained to her how awful an experience I had at Elite Nails Bar just down the street, a couple days ago. I walked in at 9:30am, told the gentleman I wanted a dip/nexgen set. We discussed how I like my nails narrow and he understood what I wanted. Tina met me to start my nails. I was very clear that I wanted narrow dip/nexgen nails in bright white that were not bumpy/lumpy and I was very picky because if they are wide or have bumps/lumps my OCD will drive me crazy until the nails are removed. She made it clear she understood what I was talking about. She gets the tips glued on and breaks out the acrylic and starts to proceed to apply it to my nail. I stopped her right away and said no, I wanted dip. Acrylics are too thick for me and the dip or nexgen kind are more natural looking to me. Guessing I slightly offended her, she wasn't as pleasant as before I commented. She seemed fine after a little while. Now, my nails are as narrow as I like, but each one of them are so lumpy and I didn't notice (or looked as closely as I should have before she put on the top coat) it until I got outside in the sunlight. I didn't go back in because, at this point, I have spent far too long in nail salons in the past 2 days getting crappy manicures. I took photos this time. I wish I had taken them the other day at Elite Nails Bar so you could have seen the fat slant nails.
