I really enjoy coming here. The massages are nice and relaxing, and everybody is always very polite. The only down marks would be that the cleanliness of the facility is fairly low and sometimes the towels they use smell like mothballs (which are toxic). Yelp reviews and other sources led me to believe the customer service would be hospitable and professional. The service was despicable and cramped. I recommend trying healing foot spa (9356 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX, 77036) if you desire a comfortable and peaceful experience. Serenity receives a zero for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, my massage was scheduled for 5pm and the therapist left me in the room for 27 minutes without saying a word. Please keep in mind I paid for one hour. After patiently sitting and waiting I decided to leave because I was neglected and didnt have more time to spare. Secondly, I over heard the massage therapist refer to me as a "black" and instructed other masseuse not to perform massage until the time expired. I have no clue as to why this massage place was being racist and unprofessional. Thirdly, Upon leaving I requested a refund, wherein I received 40 dollars instead of eighty dollars. This place will steal your money and lie about stealing. If you're in the Woodlands please do yourself a favor and cross to the other side of interstate 45 and spend your time and money with Gan's Thai Massage. read more

Still amazing!!! My wife and I visit Serenity almost once a week during the weekend. We both have found our go to masseuses and it's need a great experience time after time. My favorites are Ning, Nikki, and Pim whereas my wife likes June and Tammi. It's always easy to get in same day when I call in the morning and the atmosphere is very consistent. I almost hate writing this because the more people that find out how great they are the harder it will be for me to get an appointment. June was my masseuse and a very skilled Lady with massage. I told her that I had a problem with my neck and above shoulder area. She staring working on it immediately and make feel free of pain with in minutes. She stepped into my back hanging from some bar over the ceiling making sure I was not hurt or feeling to much pressure as she was massaging my whole body with her feet. This was my first time here. I wanted to try something different. It was! Don't judge the outside by what's inside. It is a bit weird but the rooms and tables are big. I had an hour deep tissue massage. I don't know how these small ladies have so much strength but she managed to get some knots out of my back which had been hurting for a while. And the stretches were great. Most massage places have tables with a hole for your face. In passing the other rooms, I didn't see that this place had them. That's one of the things I didn't like. Most massage places have you take off everything as they work their magic with sheet placements. Here you keep your underwear on and get a small towel to cover your back. You expose yourself quite a bit. But I didn't really mind. If you haven't seen breasts, then there's something wrong. lol read more

But I have to say, Tammie at Serenity Thai Massage and Spa in Spring is the best there is. I have been going there for about a year now. She listens to my issues and works on those problems. She is through, meaning she finds the exact spot giving me problems and works on it. I don't live in that area but I make it a point to see her anytime I come through. Over the past week I've had major headaches as a result of tightness in my neck and shoulders. Today received a two hour treatment from Carmen. The treatment was strong, but my neck and shoulder muscles were as tight as piano wire. I'm already feeling the positive results of this therapy. My shoulders and neck feel so much more relaxed. I have been here 7 times now, and I always leave relaxed and eager to come back! All of the ladies are very sweet and professional, and unlike many other massage spas, all of the girls really know how to get into the muscles and release the tension! The location is a little odd and extremely out of the way for me (1hour drive) , however it's definitely worth the trip! The rooms are cozy & beautifully remodeled, the only thing I would change is maybe add more blankets and crank up the heat? The small towel just isn't enough and the rooms tend to be a little chilly, but aside from that, it's a great place! Will definitely be back! read more

I love this place and definitely recommend! Amazing massages with stretching and they walk on your back which is surprisingly awesome. I was a little unsure when we first started going here, but all of the rooms are decorated so cute and make you feel like you're transported to Thailand. They are also very clean. The only room that is a little loud is the Bangkok one by the front door, but I was able to look past that and enjoy my massage. All of the other rooms are very quiet. You also may feel a little more exposed because of the stretching, but I don't mind. Just wear underwear if you are more modest. I booked an appointment on short notice, due to intense pain, and this place accommodated my schedule, and they were able to work me in without waiting. The massage room was very neat and clean, with a relaxing ambiance. The staff was very friendly, and my massage therapist really worked out my tight and tense, areas of my back and shoulders. Amazing how this small therapist was able get deep into the muscle and help alleviate a tremendous about of pain I was dealing with for 2 weeks. Thank you iI thought you have amazing service - My service with Linda was extremely good. In general, Thai massage is not like a traditional America style massage where someone just rubs oil and massages your skin. For me, it is therapeutic. I enjoy the stretching and deep muscle penetration. I have an athletic body and work out 6x week. I enjoy when the masseuse uses the pressure of their heals and balls of their feet to loosen tightness and knots. Obviously, you can get much more pressure when someone is standing on you. The masseuse follows up with slow deep stretching while massaging and does use their hands to massage and knead muscles and pressure points. You can ask for light pressure or just a massage using their hands. My personal expectation from a good deep tissue massage is some soreness the next day. Yes, depending on the tightness of your muscles, it can be somewhat painful. I personally do not mind the pain bc I know for me, it's a step towards relief. When my muscles are not tight and there is good circulation, I experience no pain. The benefits I experience from this type of massage is good circulation, loosening of tight muscles and ligaments - relief from pain; and better flexibility. They also have staff trained in cupping, this method for me personally and in my opinion is very therapeutic. This is my personal experience and opinion. read more
