Showed me a menu and I picked a 30 min foot massage and 30 min body massage for $40. Mindy is a sweet little lady and tiny. Man oh man can she massage deep. Had to have her ease up on my feet and legs. Then she did the body massage. Same thing here. Had to grin and bear it sometimes. Mindy was very professional and did an awesome job. I went there today to get a 60 minute massage and when she applied the stones I told her it felt very hot and she said it was ok that's how it should feel. Needless to say when I was driving home I still felt the heat. When I got home and looked in the mirror I had three blisters on my back. I immediately drove back and showed them the blisters the gentleman said I came in there like that. How would he know he didn't do the massage. There really is no such thing as a $25 dollar massage here. They highly discourage and actively try to sell you the more expensive massages while you're there. Tried to refer people to the establishment, telling them that they could get a massage for $25 and their experience was the same as mine. If you do not intend on spending more than $25, they will not prioritize you. They will get up in the middle of the session, they will switch employees midstream so they can use their better staff for higher paying customers. The massage is then given half effort by the other employee as they lightly touch you and pretend to work so to still be able to collect your money. It will be a while before I give them another try. Same with the people I referred separately that did not even get to the point of a massage before being discouraged from spending ONLY $25. read more

Mediocre at best. Background: I get foot massages about 1-2 times a month in China Town and around Galleria. Speaking from being to over 5-6 places over the last two years I would rate this the lowest in quality. Pro: Doesn't smell like most places in China Town or Galleria. Very Clean. This is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. Improvements: First, do not get up in the middle of a massage. I guess I had the owner and he got up FOUR times in the middle of my massage ranging from 2-6 minutes. (1) To greet a new customer and get them settled in. (2) Check out customers and charge their cards. (3) Answer incoming phone call. (4) Greet another customer and explain what they offered and etc. What I didn't understand was that there was another employee sitting around the entire time. To the owner if you are reading this, it was very disappointing because every time you returned you would forget what you were doing and started a different spot. Not only that, not once did you apologize. Lastly, the foot part was amazing. He got every inch of my foot. My main purpose of a foot reflexology is not the head, back or neck but the foot. I play tennis few times a week and need the work on my feet to relax. For the other parts he massaged, he rushed every single moment. Either he pinched or was just rubbing dry hands against my skin. Not really massaging the body. Prob would not come back. I guess the lesson is to ask for someone else other than the owner and you may have a great experience. read more

I am healed. I have suffered from a pain that I can pinpoint on my shoulder/ back for over 10 years. Sometimes it's so bad that the pain shoots down my arm into my fingers and down my hips. I have gone to chiropractors, regular MD's, other massage therapists and I've never felt this way after. I came in about 5 days ago for a foot/ back massage and I was a little sore after. I could tell that she really worked out my shoulders and stretched me good. I could tell it was different this time... the only pain I had was a little soreness from the massage. I am very sad to say that I have been going here for four years and I will not be returning. Every time I go in they try to upsell you. And you can be in the middle of a massage and they will ask if they can switch masseuses on you because if you're only doing a $25 massage you're using up their best masseuses. They will stop in the middle of your massage switch people on you so that the better masseuses will go to the higher paying customers. I can specify 90 minute foot massage. And at least 10 times I have been asked to cut it short because somebody else called in for a massage. Even though I have reserved a 90 minute spot for myself. The very last time I went in and asked for a 90 minute foot Massage. In the middle of my massage they cut it to a 60 minutes. Then my massage therapist named Katie got up three different times to answer the phone or the front door. And actually only massaged me for 45 minutes. Today I go in to get a 90 minute massage which I had scheduled and waited two hours to get in which is no problem. And when I get there they told me that for a 90 minute reflexology it would be $50. I told him I've been coming there for four years and it has always been $40. Actually at first it was $37 50 and then it went up to for the $40 which is fine. And today they want an extra $10 per visit. Mind you they are asking me to pay $50 for 90 minutes foot reflexology. But it's $25 an hour. As posted outside and on the windows. $25 for a hour at foot reflexology. So if you're going for a two hour foot reflexology it's $50. I am asking for a 90 minute foot massage and they're charging me $50 and they still asked me for a tipAll the prices have gone up ! And I personally witnessed one of the girls reusing the bed linens on the massage table. She just flipped them over instead of changing them! We had reservations for 2 here for 4pm and came in early at 3:50pm and the massage still hadn't started until 4:10pm. Not only that but both employees massaging continuously talked and laughed making it not so calming experience. All I could wonder was what could they be possibly talking about and if was about us. The employee I got was male and smelled like cigarettes and was very harsh massaging. He wiped off more than half my makeup on my face that I spent and hour doing in the morning. I didn't expect my face being rubbed off for a foot massage. When we got there we were consistently pressured on getting the higher priced services multiple times despite us saying no over and over nicely. During the massages the employees kept leaving. When I told him my lower back was hurting a lot from him massaging too hard he continued to do so. The pain was agonizing and I will not be going back. I've had plenty of massages to know good ones. At one point he grabbed both my legs and twirled them in a circle and dropped them.... and same with my arms. At the end we ended before it was even 5pm for an hour massage. When we went to pay the man kept pressuring about tip despite us unhappy with our experience. I had back pain for days after this experience and feel so bad for even wasting our money here. Katie did an outstanding job of kneading out the tightness in my shoulders and neck. It's not often that my expectations of a massage are exceeded, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised today. Note that this is my first ever massage review, but as I get massages fairly frequently, I have decided to go ahead and put my recommendations out there. I stopped into K Foot Massage this morning as a walk-in for their entry level $25 foot massage. I've had a "foot" massage in an Asian massage store before, so I know that it's more than just your feet. In fact, they cover just about everywhere. The advertisement over the shop said "head to toe" and they were not exaggerating. They start you out by having you roll your pants up so you can put your feet in warm water to soak. I wasn't planning to get a massage, so I was wearing jeans, which were not really easy to roll up past my knees, but I got it done. Lying on my back, massage therapist #1 began to massage my head, neck, shoulders, and arms. She did a good job of identifying places where there was tension and I was really enjoying a relaxing massage. After 15-20 minutes though, I was in for a surprise. Exit massage therapist #1. Enter massage therapist #2. I was a little disappointed by this change, as I had been enjoying #1's relaxing touch, and I was worried that #2 might not be as good. I was wrong. During the first segment, my feet had been soaking. Next it was time to then do some reflexology, which involves massage and applying pressure to acupressure points, beginning with the feet. This is actually a bit painful, but the therapist stayed in communication with me asking if it was too much, which it wasn't. I've had a lot of massages, but she found pressure points that I didn't know that I had, and she energetically worked them on my feet and up my calf. This went on for another 15-20 minutes, maybe more. I wasn't watching the clock, but there was definitely three parts to the massage. After the foot segment, she proceeded to engage me in thai-massage-like stretching. I've had a real thai massage before, and she knew how to stretch me. Some massage therapists are tentative about stretching, so they do not apply enough pressure to have an effect, but this woman knew her stuff. Then she flipped me over and started to work on my back. As some of you may know, one aspect of a Thai massage is that the therapist will walk on your back, being supported by overhead rails. This massage store does not have overhead rails, so in what speculate was an approximation of the Thai technique, she climbed onto my back on her knees and began to apply pressure with her weight. I think this may be a Korean technique, but I'm not sure. I just know you won't get this in most massage stores. Keep in mind, this is a $25 foot massage. It was performed in an open area with six massage tables. I don't think any other customers were in the store at the time, but she wasn't reserving this special treatment for a full body massage in a private room. She finished me off with a light scalp massage. When it was over, I didn't know if it had been an hour or an hour and a half, because I lost track of time. That's how good it was. read more
