Where do I start?! I cannot recommend Jo Jo enough! BOOK AN APPOINTMENT!!!! This was my first 'real' facial and I had the absolute best time. Jojo is so kind and very, very knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to take care of my skin. My facial lasted for an 1 hour and 40 minutes and honestly I didn't even realize the time until we were done. The room was so relaxing. She used the most amazing products, literally going into every square inch of my face and neck and cleaning up every pore! She didn't try to push selling any products (which was a first as many places will do that), in fact she said that I could just bring the products I already have at home and she could tell me what would work best for my skin so I don't waste money. My skin was left so soft and I cannot wait for my next appointment which I've already booked with her. Go to Jojo, she's worth every penny! I was going to pick other salons (which are also way more expensive) but I'm so glad I went here. I'll recommend everyone and anyone to get their face skin care done here. She explained what she was doing and why. I liked knowing what was happening because i had not experienced white-head extraction before. I upgraded my treatment to include: Micro-dermabrasion: WELL WORTH IT. I am almost 60 years old, you should see my skin today. It feels so smooth and looks fresh. I have been going to Jo Jo for about 5 months and I have struggled with my skin for a long time. I am also seeing a dermatologist for my acne, but they don't help you with your home skin routine which is vital to your skin's recovery process. Jo Jo has taken time to explain how to use my products at home. It's a slow process but I know it is working. I get facials about once a month and now I am buying products from her as well. She doesn't try to up-sell and that really makes me want to spend more, and her products are reasonably priced. So yes, a dermatologist may be necessary for some people BUT you need an "at home coach", and Jo Jo definitely makes me feel like I am getting as much bang for my buck as possible. Incredible extractions! Jo Jo gave my 16 yr old son a deep cleanse facial with extractions. She did a great job of extracting some very deeply rooted and large blackheads on his nose that he's had for about 2 years. After I waited less than 5 minutes, in comes Renee to greet me, while walking me through the different types of micro-needling options, the differences and benefits, what to expect before and after. She was honest in recommending me for the product that made sense for my current skin condition and age and didn't just try to sell me the most expensive product they offered. I did quite a bit of research before, but my time at Ten Years Younger was an education. The room is serene and sets the mood to relax and be present. Renee is very skilled and knowledgable within skincare and all of the processes. I told her it was my first time and she walked me through each step of what is going to happen, what it does for my skin, what it feels like, and I truly respected her more for that. I knew I had to sit there for 45 mins while they prep me for the treatment and I was dreading it. Somehow, Jasmine and Renee made that time fly by like lightening. They're so fun to be around and checked in on me periodically. While I was there I had questions about other products and services they offer. Like I said before, I had no idea that I was getting an education when I signed up for this treatment. Never did I feel pressured to commit or purchase other products and services. I've never in the past considered getting Botox. I didn't know enough about and partially because I didn't quite trust the people who tried to sell it to me in the past. That was not the case here. I felt confident my face was in very capable hands and so I got my first Botox. When I was done the checkout process was also a breeze because Jasmine, during my prep, had already gone through the billing, post-treatment do's and don't, booked me for my next appointment. Far more fast and efficient than taking yet another 10-15 in the front desk discussing all thee things in front of other waiting patients. Truly, the other competing companies have a lot to learn from Ten Years Younger. The bar they've set is way high and I cannot wait to visit them again.
