I got the foot spa recovery I walk and it was a very quiet scene which was nice. I started exactly on time. They brought me to this room lights was dim and have me sit in a comfy chair. I would say when I walked in I thought there would be foot bath machine but it was just a plastic bin which is not bad but I just thought it would one of those! The massage it self was great My feet was probably in the bin of water for 5 mins then she started with the massage. The foot mask was also very nice and hot it was perfect. This is my go to location whenever I need a massage. I have been coming here off and on for about 3-4 years now. I love the fact I can schedule an appointment whenever I need to online at any time of day or night. They offer couples massages that I've gotten at their other location that you need to call to set up the appointment so can schedule the room needed for that. Both locations offer great service. The few massage therapists I've had have done a wonderful job. I usually get the relaxation massage (90 or 120 minutes). I walk out feeling like a whole new person after every appointment. This was my first appointment, I booked the Royale. Berta was my spa therapist. She was incredible, I felt very pampered, relaxed I appreciated her thoroughness. I recommend her. The body scrub with shower heads was my favorite!!! Very soothing. The facial and scalp massage were great. I did notice a hair on the massage table and made sure to point it out to my therapist. The robe and slippers were a nice touch but the slippers need to be upgraded they had bleach stains... Lastly I recommended any delivery men coming in during business hours should not be allowed in the same hallway that clients will be seen/using...privacy is nice and appreciated during your session. read more

I've been a loyal patron for about two years- I have a couple of therapists I see regularly. Before today, I would have recommended this establishment; however, after the RUDE comment from the female at the desk today- I will not be returning. Urban Day Spa is finally rolling out a monthly membership and the two laminated flyers on the checkin desk have varying prices for a one hour massage- one says it's Membership price is $64 for one hour relaxation massage and $69.99 for deep tissue massage. The second flyer says "as low as $58.65". Both flyers say "Ask the front desk" if there were any further questions...so I asked the front desk person about the variation in prices on the two flyers and her response to me was "I explained this to you before..." so I told her that she did not need to explain it to me again. As a person who has been in management over 30 years- those were the incorrect words to say to me- as a paying customer! If I asked 99 times- she should have explained it 99 times with a smile in her voice and in her face. So Urban Day Spa - Copperfield and Alvaro (my favorite therapist) can thank the front desk person on Saturday March 15, 2025 for losing THIS customer. The rudeness was uncalled for and all of the information on the monthly membership should be on ONE flyer for continuity and comprehension. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that this review is not towards any of the massage therapists. I've been here many times and have had almost all great experiences. Although today was slightly different. There are flyers around the facility promoting their promotions. I attached the photo for reference. My wife and I came in and received one of the packages on the flyer. At the end when I went to pay, I was charged the regular price. I mentioned the promotion as one of the flyers was by the front desk and was told that it started on Monday 11/16. This was VERY misleading as the promotion does not state a start date only end dates of 11/30 and 12/31, so I was under the impression that it was a current promotion. I paid and gave no argument, but I don't feel like they should be promoting any specials without being clear with their promotion dates. read more

I've gone back and forth with myself about posting this review because I really did want to like this location. I really liked the location on Louetta, but it's freezing over there temperature wise, so I wanted to try this location. First off, the front desk person was very nice and it did look very clean inside. My therapist was really nice but I do have some complaints especially since I'm spending $100+ on services. Let me say first I'm a licensed massage therapist so, this review is coming from someone who already has a hard time relaxing because I'm in my head a lot when I get massages from people I don't know personally. I purchased the Essential Spa package and I chose to substitute the scalp massage part with hot stones. Which was great, because I was cold in the room so the stones did help. The Essential package was supposed to be a Swedish massage (relaxation), but my therapist definitely was giving deep tissue. She can give some pretty good pressure, that's just not what I was looking for, and I blame myself because I could've spoken up and told her lighter pressure, so that's my fault. But the real issue I had with my therapist was that she was on her phone a lot. I'm not sure if she was texting or reading texts or what but I could definitely tell when she wasn't ACTIVLEY massaging. And for me that's just unacceptable considering how much I'm spending. Like I said I really went back and forth about this because she was nice and I don't want to deter people from coming here but I was just really disappointed more than anything. I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip and honestly I didn't want to, but I still gave her something because it was an hour of time spent, and it can be a workout working on someone, but I didn't want to leave anything because of her distraction. Even with the pressure, unless I was someone who couldn't take that kind of pressure (which some people can't), I still would've given a nice tip. Her tip definitely would've been bigger had she given me her undivided attention. Overall I was just very disappointed and I was ready to leave by the time we got to the foot scrub part of my package, I almost told them we can just skip that part, I was ready to leave. read more
