I came in for a dip mani, pedicure and leg and eyebrow wax. We started off with the pedicure, which was fine. No paint so the leg wax could be next. After waxing one leg., the technician took a razor blade to my leg!!! WTF!?! I didn't realize what she was doing at first because in 10 years of waxing my legs, I've never had this happen. Before I could stop her, she cut my leg. I point out to her that there is still a ton of hair and tell her to wax and no more razor. So she starts waxing my other leg and does a crap job. I let her polish my toes and cancelled all all of my other service and got the heck outta there before she could hurt me anymore. Stay away from this place!! I still paid $55 to be hurt and tortured, spare yourself!!!

I went back to have some of my nails less sharpened the next day to no avail, Vanessa took care of those but they still have sharp edges to them that I thought according to Vanessa would dull out. Not a true deal breaker since they are super cute. I loved that Vanessa did a run down on every service that I said I wanted and I knew before they even began what my total was. No guessing, No surprises! LOVED THAT!!!!! Google, am I switching salons? STRONG POSSIBILITY!!!!!! ---------------------------------------------- Came in to try this location as I'd gone to the 1488 locations a couple of years ago. I was hoping that I could switch my nail spot closer to home. The verdict is still out on switching but I wanted to give a shout out to Ariel and Markeus. These two are the reasons that I'm going to give it another try. Ariel was very patient and delicate with my service and Markeus was great at following up on a few concerns I had during the visit. It wasn't so busy that I had to wait, but I definitely wasn't the only customer inside. I got a manicure and a pedicure and asked for acrylic on my natural nails with regular polish on my toes. The pedicure was mediocre. Nothing special, and I felt like my technician was really phoning it in for the massage. My manicurist Olivia was very nice and friendly, but I really don't like my manicure. Maybe it's not her fault, but I had no idea that an acrylic full set meant getting a neutral acrylic base on my nails and then shellac gel polish on top of that. I'm use to whatever color I get, that's the color of the acrylic powder (no, not dip) and then a clear coat on top. My nails are very bubbly and super thick. They almost flare out at the tips and just look odd; specifically my thumbs- they just look bad. This place is about 30 minutes away from me, so a drive if I were to make this place my new go to spot. The pricing is very good, but the quality was just not there. I'm interested to see how long they hold up. I most likely will not be returning because the drive is not worth the meh results. They do offer 10% off to anyone who is willing to write a Yelp or Google review. I also saw a discount for first responders. I'm not sure if they have other discounts or offer percentages off to teachers or other occupations, or if they have any sort of happy hour or discount days.

I've 2x already and both times have been bad. When I voiced my concerns about how bad my nails looked they said it's because the light is directly on it. So they turned OFF the light. Okay, I didn't get pretty nails to be in the dark. Anyways. This place isn't the place to go if you want good manicure or pedicure.
