Out of all the nail salons I've been to I would not recommend Wynn Nails & Spa. I came here with my friend and her mom after a 20 minute wait my friend is called over to get her nails done when me and her mom are still waiting for a whole hour. The lady I had seemed so distracted, so disoriented. My toes don't look bad but my nails look so messy. So far I've been here for 2 hours and I'm still waiting. I got here around 5 and it's 7:04 and all I simply asked for was a manicure and pedicure. Would not recommend. read more

Let me give a quick overall summary, and not waste too much time. These people USED to be a 4, but have diminished down to a 2. The nail services were nice, customer service was on point and the cleanliness used to be on point. Now, I'm not sure what happened, seems they just-don't give- a durn anymore, and their attitude is careless. My thing is, if you don't like what you're doing, FIND SOMETHING ELSE. I made an appointment, confirmed it, but WHY because they took the people who waiting before me. I had to address the owner and ask when will a tech be ready since I made an appointment, and she told me 5 more minutes. So, I waited. When I was finally served, I requested a Shellac manicure, in which she was very quick with getting it done. Not bad, since she lost time. However, my Shellac only lasted 5 days. I will not be going back AT ALL. read more

So I noticed this salon only had one review and I made a yelp just to write mine. I tried this nail salon for the first time today, around 5:30. I normally get acrylic but I've been wanting to let my nails grow so I got shellac. I was with the technician named Tracy, (there's two, one in the front & one in the back) I was with the one in the back and she was the most friendly, sweet, and outgoing technician I've ever had. We chit chattered the entire time and laughed she also did an amazing job on my nails there were no traces of the acrylic ones I had before. She made me feel so comfortable and I've been to many of the other nail salons in this area and I will be returning, and will wait if she's busy just for her. Definitely the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Thumbs up. :) plus salon is clean and they don't use dirty tools! read more

If you want a salon that actually cares what your nails look like when you walk out or actually taking the time to match colors, don't go here! They do not care about their customers. The girl doing my toes didn't even test the color next to the nail color before painting my toes. After my nails were done and it obviously didn't match, no one even apologized or asked to change the color. Now I will have to go to a different salon to get my toes re-painted to actually match! read more

This place is amazing, I've been coming here for years, and every time no matter who I get does a fantastic job. They all do a set of solar nails amazingly! And compared to other places, wynn nails is definitely competitively priced. They are so willing to work with you on what you want as well. There has been plenty of times I've gone in there with a crazy idea or design and they not only did it but made it look better than I thought it would! They also do a great pedicure! I work as an EMT and am on my feet most of the day, as a result I got two horribly painful ingrown toenails, I went to them on a whim hoping they could provide me done relief and they fixed them right up. No trouble since. I have recently moved downtown Houston and tried to find somewhere closer to me and have given up, I will drive the extra 25 minutes to go here without any question. read more

I used to be a regular at this nail salon for a number of years and stopped when I found a place closer to home. However, I still use the dry cleaner in the same strip center and needed my nails done quickly so I stopped in last week. I was warmly welcomed and asked where I had been, which was very nice, in my opinion. I remembered why I started going elsewhere when I walked in though. First, let me say this, I am an all faiths respected person, but I do feel if a place has an idol on display that the area be clean and neat, especially if located right in front. I was promptly seated in a pedicure chair, selected the mid level pedi because it had all I wanted except hot wax and we proceeded. I also asked for a basis manicure. Since I do not speak Vietnamese, all my wants had to be interpreted to my tech. Preparations for the pedicure were what I would have expected for a very basic pedi. It lasted about 20 minutes in total including a French Tip polish in which tech proceeded to put my sandals on after she finished my very basic manicure that included the coat of clear polish I asked for. I was in and out in about 35 minutes and my toe polish nicked by the time I got to my car and had to go back in for a retouch. I went back to my car and it happened again. I just didn't bother going back in. My French Tip looks pretty bad, uneven and the clear cost peeled off the next day. I know they have a good business because they are nice ppl, but the overall place needs a daily cleaning and better technicians. I can only imagine how much competition is out there though. Like I said, I needed to have my nails done, because we were leaving the next day. I am just glad I didn't overpay for the services rendered. read more

Worst pedicure ever. I use to be a pedicurist who managed my own salon and hired my own workers. so I know how procedures are suppose to executed. I know whether or not someone did their job correctly or went through the motions just to get your money. I walked into this salon because I needed a pedicure. My technician wasn't the least bit thorough. My cuticles are jacked. The edge of my toe nails are jagged and crooked. To top it off...the polishing job is laughable. I could've polished them better if I was a passenger in a moving car. It really was the worst pedicure ever. If she were a young new tech I'd give her a pass but she rushed through the job so quick that I'm sure her years in the business has allowed her to become a master of the perfect "rushed" pedi. Come here for your pedi if you want you toes jacked!...seriously. read more

I had just stopped in this salon in order to have the gel polish removed from my finger nails and get a manicure. However, they did a poor job of removing the gel polish with the electric nail file after soaking my finger nails in nail polish remover as there is still gel polish on my nails. sThe techs seemed to gossip in their own language about clients. When I changed my mind and asked for a french manicure instead of going with a solid color, they did not let me know in advance that it would cost me several dollars more until the end when it was time to pay. With the experience I had there, I would DEFINITELY NOT go back there again. read more
