Gel manicure
Melissa N.

This was my first time coming here and they did a very nice job on my gel nails. Figured I had time to spare while my husband got his hair cut next door. Walked in n they sat me down right away. They suggested a gel rather than a regular nail polish because it lasts longer so I took it. Prices weren't too bad either. And the music they were playing was very nice! All in all, good place!

There are air bubbles in my pointer and index fingers.

It had been more than a year since I had a professional manicure done. I decided to stop in here because I was picking up lunch nearby. I said I just needed a manicure. I picked my polish and sat down. The woman asked if I wanted gel or shellac and I said "No, thank you. Just regular polish please." She responded "Okay, but it's probably not going to last more than a day or two." I told her that was fine. She put my fingers in cold, soapy water and we began. She shaped my nails well. But then she cut my cuticle on one finger while leaving some behind on my thumb. The polish she put on was a pretty color, but pretty streaky. I thought that it would be fine after a good top coat. Today, that was not to be. The top coat she used was thick and stringy and in desperate need of thinner. (Which she put in AFTER she used it on my nails.) The best way that I can describe her application of the top coat was a quick slap of coverage. None of my nails are fully covered. She didn't wrap the tips of my nails in either polish or top coat. I left with my nails looking lumpy at best. One nail only had top coat across half the nail. Every nail she painted has a rim of exposed polish. After more than a year of social distancing, keeping my butt at home, I was supremely disappointed in my first nail outting. I've done better polish jobs on myself at home in the middle of a sneezing fit. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because she did an okay job on my eyebrows. Maybe I caught her on a bad day. Maybe she was disappointed that she couldn't upsell me to a more expensive mani. Either way, I expected more from someone who had to go through school to learn how to do this. I definitely will not go back again.

Great place for a quick pedicure this morning. I was in between appointment and found Julie ready and willing to help my feet! I found them to be a nice break during my hectic Sunday to relax and have a foot tune up. Would recommend if you live in the area to stop in and give them a try.

Did an awesome job on my nails!! I wish I would've gotten her name but she worked diligently and made sure I got what I asked for :)

We had a large group of 6 getting several services before my wedding - mani pedi waxing and powder - everyone was thrilled with our results and looked great for pictures! I recommend the ombré powder nails!

They didn't really greet us, and they didn't talk to us while we were there. They didn't even say Thank you or come again, when they were done, they just got up, and left. They lost two stars for that. They did however do excellent work on my feet and hands. My manicure and pedicure cost a total of $34. Bring cash for tips, however.

NEW MANAGEMENT! Me and my daughter had our nails done here and we are both very happy! The new owners Julie, Vicky, and Kelli are absolutely adorable! They are very kind and really care about the customers. We love how they take their time to detail and they are very sanitary.

Spring time mani with my mom!

I love TLC! The nicest staff with a clean, beautiful salon. They are always super accommodating and helpful and do a lovely job. I go with my family and friends every time I'm in town, and they did my wedding nails a couple years ago beautifully!

I needed to find a place in this area to go to after work, and the reviews and pictures on here…read morewere so convincing. The staff was great! Nayeli helped me pick out color, and Calvin did my nails. I got acrylics with the dip powder stuff...? (Forgive me, I'm new to the nail game.) Just for some back story, my last set looked awful because my nails had really grown out and I wanted a new set, not just a refill, so I could get my nails cut. Other salons don't cut your nails (or even ask!) before putting the nails on. So TMI, my natural nails had a lot of dirt stuck between them and the acrylics. Calvin did a great job taking them off, pain free. Honestly the attention to detail he put into his work was amazing. And the price was worth it. I will be going back for sure! PS to all my fellow introverts out there - you can book an appointment online ;)

Not the experience I hoped for. I visited this salon for a…read moredip removal and a pedicure, and unfortunately, I left feeling incredibly uncomfortable. When I explained that soaking my hands in a bag of acetone irritates my skin, the technician dismissed my concern, saying that wrapping each finger individually "takes too long." I calmly expressed that I needed to be mindful of my body and health -- something I don't believe should be up for debate during a service. Rather than accommodate this in a respectful way, she wrapped my entire hand in a large piece of foil like a mitten and poured acetone over it. At the same time, both she and a colleague began speaking to each other in another language, and while I can't say for certain, it felt clear they were speaking about me. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I made the decision to leave, and when I tried to dry my feet (as I had just started a pedicure), the technician abruptly pulled the towel away, saying it was "only for hands." I walked out with wet feet and a really negative impression. My daughter was with me and even she commented on how tense and unpleasant the interaction was. She told me she appreciated that I stood up for myself, which, at least, was a small silver lining. I wasn't trying to be difficult -- just trying to take care of my skin -- and I left feeling dismissed and disrespected. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone who values being heard and treated with basic courtesy.
