I really loved the environment and the people at first. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill when my nail tech was pulled away in the middle of doing my nails by her boss to work on a "regular" client instead. It felt really strange and unfair to be treated like my time mattered less. I ended up waiting about 30 extra minutes for her to finish. No hate toward my nail tech--she was wonderful--but I definitely didn't feel treated equally or valued as a customer. read more

Read good reviews by several Elite Helpers so I decided to try the place. Very small place, not a fancy smancy place, but very friendly people and equipment had the plastic bags in them. The gentleman must be the owner, but was very welcoming. The young lady who did my pedicure was most kind and did a very nice job. With the one up from the basic pedi, I added the parafin wax and a French pedicure. It was $40 which I felt was reasonable considering the tech gave me a neck massage while my toes were drying. In the area and stopped here for a shellac mani. Tommy was awesome. My cuticles looked great and the paint job was awesome. No cuticles painted, no paint in the cracks. He was very meticulous and I appreciated that. My husband had a jelly pedicure and he loved it. Tommy also did my husband's manicure as well and it was excellent. Moved to Tomball a few months back and was hesitant to try a new nail salon, but I am so happy that I found the right one! Tony is great at calling and following up with you to try to get you in earlier if you weren't able to schedule at your desired time. The nail techs are friendly and the atmosphere is fun. Came in for a gel manicure and pedicure for my daughter and I. Not the biggest or newest shop but the service was soooo much better than a lot of those mega nail salons. I don't remember the name of the lady that worked on my nails but she did a great job on my manicure. Very neat! Of course time will tell with the manicure, I have to see how long it lasts. But hopefully all will go well and I will definitely come back and schedule an appointment. read more

Tony is excellent and did my nails the first time to this shop. I was so excited to find a new salon! The second time, one of the ladies did my nail dip. The nails were not the best and the dip powder started to chip off around the back of one nail. Next day another was chipping and cracked and then another. I'm not sure if it was the process or product. I have put polish over to hold them together for now. In the two years I have been doing dip, including when I did my own in 2020, I never had more than one nail fall apart like this after a new set. This is a very small shop so they are limited on who can help. Tony is not available for several days. I think it best for me to find a new shop. Three stars because Tony is excellent, everyone is friendly and the shop is clean. read more

Got mani/pedi on emergency basis. In Tomball to take care of sweetheart at hospital while he was still in constant care ( motorcycle wreck).. FLAMINGO staff cranked into high gear and had four different people working on all fingers and toes to get me in and out ASAP. Missed my standard appt 200 miles away, but Flamingp treated me like I was one of their regulars . Will definitely put Flamingo nails on my best list of businesses in Houston area. Wow! This place is great! I got the deluxe pedi. Not super cheep but reasonable. I got the best service ever. 40 minute message(2 chair cycles) and the girl was so sweet. My toes look great. I'm super happy I took a chance with this place. It is small and they did have to turn a couple of people away ( they actually told them it would be 30 minutes)because they were full. What a wonderful nail salon! Not only was it clean, it was wholly affordable with an attention to detail that supersedes them all! I had seen other women around town with gorgeous nails. After inquiring for a few weeks, I was told they got they got their nails done by Flamingo Nails in Tomball. I decided I would give them a try and booked an appointment for the same day in the afternoon (on a Friday mind you). The owner was so nice; I felt good about booking my appointment with them from the beginning. Upon being welcomed in, the clients and the staff were so friendly! I got a shellac manicure; it was absolutely amazing to say the least. The lady who did my nails was absolutely attentive and did exactly what I requested. She went to great measures my nails were absolutely perfect. She did not rush, like i have had in the past; thus making my nails look so gorgeous!
