Hands down the best nail spa. We come from The Woodlands (30 min drive), surrounded by an abundance of nail salons, but continue choose Aloha over & over again. For starters, the salon is beautiful. The staff is wonderful, friendly, attentive & they retain nail techs! Every other salon has turnover & new techs at every visit. Being immune compromised, the most important thing for me is sanitation & cleanliness. New nail kits are opened in front of you for each appointment. Disposable items are never reused and everything else is UV sanitized. The drink menu is a nice, free, perk & a perfect addition for a girls day. So thankful I stumbled upon Aloha! read more

The tech was the BEST, I was so excited I wanted more information on other services, asked the Manager a few question's he was less than cooperative and made me feel very unwanted. After thinking about it for days I wrote a review to express my disappointment, the owner Tracey wrote me back was very apologetic and encouraged me to come back.. moving forward a few months I decided to give it a second try, once again the Tech was amazing, different service! Then a few days later this post pops up that was hateful and disrespectful basically being hateful about someone who "gave them a bad review came back in". Well if that doesn't PROVE the problem right there! If someone decided to give a company a second chance after only stating their experience bad and good, the owner responding in a respectful way and then treat your customers like that!! How a company handles feedback speaks volumes, I don't care how good you are! You are UGLY and unprofessional and it starts at the top! I don't normally leave bad reviews but I left so frustrated. I asked for a builder gel manicure and wanted french tips. The white tips are all different sizes, as are the lengths of my thumb nails lol. No cuticle care, just loaded on gel and filed it down. Everything felt extremely rushed. He drilled my nails so fast that it was burning me throughout the whole process. He cut me on an already damaged nail and continued to try and file it. Overall just a very uncomfortable experience. The man working the front desk was very kind and gave me 10$ off. He also sanitized my cut finger as the manicurist did not. Don't think i'll be returning as the service was still expensive and I was unhappy. The vibe of the salon is great just seems to lack consistency. read more

Very rarely do I give a 5 star review. Usually a business has to go above and beyond or do some sort of over delivery to earn a five star rating. I travel so much for work and I am in town so infrequently that I usually just try to find somewhere that I can walk in to get my nails done and my pedicure, I looked up this place and saw the reviews and was very happy to see that it was not too far from my home. I was able to book an appointment online the evening before. I love that it is in a standalone building, the only thing I did not like was the minimal parking, but there is parking on the street. I got checked in and I was offered a drink. I chose the Vietnamese coffee (later I had Moscato). They have a great selection of drinks to choose from! The first lady that I saw was Linda, she did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She was very nice and I chose the pedicure with the CBD. The lady who did my nails was Moon. She was very friendly and did a fantastic job on my nails as well! I told her what I was looking to do and she did exactly what I asked for! While I was there, they had a TV showing many of their different services and I saw a couple of things that looked interesting to me so I inquired about them. So I asked Moon and she had someone come over to give me some information about them. They answered all of my questions and I never felt like they were being pushy or trying to upsell anything. I asked them if they had appointments available for the same day to do the hydra facial and derma planing, they were able to get me in right after I had my nails and my toes done. The facial was done by Tami. I used to drive all the way out to River Oaks to get my facials done. This one was better than any facial that I have ever done. I also had been wanting to do the lip blushing for a long time, so I asked about it and Tracey, the ownerwas able to do it for me. I am extremely pleased with every service that I had today. I literally spent my entire entire day at the salon, which should really be called a spa. The only thing that they did not offer was a full body massage. I love the ambience, the decor, the color scheme. Everything about the salon is just amazing. I will absolutely be back here. I needed a festive design that would compliment the newest Beach Waver without taking away from the product, this set does just that! I hate to leave this review- really, I do. I desperately wanted to love this place. I had a lash appointment with Tracey. I did my research- it seemed like she was the most well liked for lashes, the owner, and therefore, also the most experienced here and the highest priced. I got my lashes done downtown for years at this same price before we moved to the burbs. I drove 20+ minutes to this appointment. 15 minutes after I arrived she zoomed past me while eating and asked if I'd been to their business before. When I said no, she marched over to someone at the front and told them "first time; I'll need help". That person then gave me an iPad to fill out with my information. I hate when people ignore that they are running late for an appointment. If I can show up early or on time, you can at least acknowledge me. You could tell me things are behind, or offer me a water, but being dismissive irks me. When she finally got to me, she instantly took a call when I got into the room. While she prepped me, she continued talking on the call, totally ignoring me. They had a full conversation, during which time she told me to "open my eyes", then told the person she was "talking to client". I totally didn't exist. She then said to me "stay here, I have to go get my tools, don't move or open eyes". Like, where would I go? You've taped up my EYEBALLS. Also, how do you not have your tools? You're the owner, did you forget what this appointment was? When she returned, there were 3-4 additional interruptions in addition to being able to hear everything going on outside. One person came in and talked to her about going home for the day. Then someone came in complaining they hadn't been paid, they got into a discussion about paychecks, and the person plopped themselves right in the room with us while they checked their bank statements on their phone. After this person left, another came in with the same complaint that led to another completely inappropriate, unprofessional discussion to take place in front of me, the first time client. My eyelids were tugged on several times, by the way. I've never had that happen before in my three years of professionally applied eyelash extensions. Tracey was nice when I left, giving the standard speed about lash after care. My lashes are not what I expected- several of my actual lashes are sticking out straight and it's very obvious. I've also never had that happen before. I feel like I'm going to have to pay somewhere else to remove this set and start over. It looks like I tried to do them myself. Really, truly disappointed. This place is local and close to home so I want to love it. But they make is hard. Daniel and Tam are great techs. The managers make the experience horrible. Walking around pushing the upsell, hard. Every time I have been here same thing. They also make the techs try to upsell. I had a 10:30 appt. Tech was not to me till 11:00. They probably assigned him a walk in prior to my appt. They try to herd ppl through like cattle. They pulled Tam off my pedi so she could start another pedi and the manager did a pathetic job of putting on my final top coat. Super frustrating and disappointing. The managers need to do better. This place pushes the SPA feel but they do not come through with that experience at all. Had a disappointing service yesterday. I came in for a shellac manicure and showed the front desk and the technician a picture of the same nail shape and color of nails i wanted. The guy at the front said they didn't have the "jelly" colors but could do something very similar with a shiny top coat. The nail tech told me to find a color like i showed her in the picture but all they had was about 3 trays of colors she gave me to chose from and none of them matched the picture. Finally she tells me to go with one color and says the top coat will make it look like the photo, i just trusted the process. She also said i needed to do dip powder when i asked for shellac initially. When she finished my nails looked nothing like the photo especially the shape?! I wanted a round natural nail and she gave me pointy almond nails. I saw the girls next to me had the same shape and color of nails the tech did for me so im assuming they only know one way to do nails here. I tried Aloha for the first time this past Tuesday (not even a week ago). I made an appointment with Sarath since I had seen his name a couple of times in IG stories. They ended up moving me to a different seat with a random nail tech because he said he didn't have time to do my nails... I thought that was slightly rude, especially since I had an appointment with him. I have had dip on my nails for maybe 3 or 4 years now and was wanting to try gel overlay because I had heard it was healthier. They put me with Kim, who never even introduced herself or smiled. She instantly acted like I was an inconvenience to her. She did not appropriately take care of my cuticles; she only pushed them back... Turns out, she did something called builder gel (which is not the same thing as gel overlay). I had asked for pearl chrome on top of the color, and once they were done they looked absolutely terrible. In the past I have left salons extremely unhappy, but I decided I wasn't going to leave unhappy this time. I spoke up. She had to file all the color off, and the manager came over and taught her how to do the job the correct way... that she was only supposed to do 1 coat of color for chrome. They looked better the second time, but still not great. When checking out, I told the manager I was still unhappy so she removed the charge for the chrome. I truly appreciated that, but I still left very unhappy with the quality of work. Now, not even a week later, it looks like I have 3 weeks worth of nail growth because she didn't do my cuticles properly, and her lack of knowledge in doing the gel.... Well, the edges are terrible! Also, with chrome powder every mistake is magnified. The manager told me that there is a guy named Jame, who does her nails, and he would be a better fit for me next time. The manager was very nice, and she even helped me pick my color and genuinely wanted to help make me happy. I can also appreciate that the manager and nail tech spoke in English when talking about my nails as to make me feel more comfortable. I really want to make Aloha work! It is closer to my house and less pricey than my normal salon. I will definitely give Jame a chance. read more
