The masseuse wasted as much time as possible, did as little as possible, didn't seem to have a good grasp of deep tissue and ignored the specific issues I mentioned. I have Michael do my massages. He does an excellent deep massage and is very knowledgeable. I like that he's willing to talk and answer questions, but doesn't talk your ear off either. He works and encourages you to relax. Really helps the tightness I get in my hands and arms. I like to get a 90 minute session, whether I'm getting a massage from Michael or a facial from whoever is available. You're going to "lose" the first five minutes and last five minutes of your total time to undressing and dressing, whether you do an hour, 90 min, or two hours. I pay for an hour a month, but ended up going a couple months without massages, so that gave me the luxury of a few months with 90 minute massages. read more

This by far the best experience I've ever had at a Massage Envy! I had never been to this location before and loved getting a facial from Lauren! She really made this a great experience for me! She greeted me with a smile and was very attentive to making me feel as comfortable as possible, not mention the massage room smelled like lavender...I LOVE lavender! I felt completely relaxed and her voice was really soothing without sounding inauthentic. The most valuable part of this experience was feeling like I walked out with so much more knowledge about how to care for my skin. Lauren explained the different products and informed me which vitamins each treatment contained, which helped me realize that I might be using the wrong type of cleanser. Before I left, she presented me with a cleanser that she felt was suitable for me, and she was respectful of my budget which was, also, very important to me. After I came home, I went for a run and when I showered I used the cleanser that I bought from her and I am so happy with my purchase... I touch my face and it literally feels like a baby's bottom! Before going to Massage Envy I had a few mixed experiences and read so many mixed reviews at different locations so I considered cancelling my appointment, but now I am really delighted with my experience and can't wait to return to the location in Tomball. I have been a member for several years and stopped for a while and noticed a difference in how I felt. I went back and it has been over a year. Very happy with Lexi and Nicole. Both do a great job and focus on what I say I need and also the pressure I want. I find everything pleasant, from making an appointment to checking in and then the wonderful massage. Had a conversation with Wendy the manager two months ago, regarding several things that were not explain to me when I signed my contract and told her I will be glad when this contract ends and I can sever my ties, I feel like at that point the manager shouldn't verbally reiterated to me oh, by the way your contracts going to automatically renew next month unless you sign a document! I leave near Cypress and I have tried to get in to the Cypress location for the last couple of months with no luck. I found this location in Tomball and it is not far from the house. I have been a massage envy member for over a year now and it has been the worst experience regarding customer service! Not once have I ever had to cancel an appointment until today. I am a stay at home mom and my husbands car staled out and was not going to make it home on time. They said they would charge me half of the amount due. They had no compassion for my situation at all and the manger was not even available to speak with. It's upsetting not to have any help. I am beyond frustrated with this place. Made an appointment on a Wed for Fri afternoon. The lady that booked me quoted me as a 55 dollar intro since it was so long since I had been to the other massage envy in Cypress. I arrived and got a good massage although I dont think the therapist had the info that I gave during the info session prior. She didn't run my back or lower back at all. Just my neck which was supposed to be focus but even pressure was not what discussed. Therapist was sweet and had planned to go back to see her. THIS IS THE BAD PART!!!! I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 55 DOLLAR CHARGE. When I got to the end and pay was told I was being billed the 95 DOLLAr new charge. I started I had been quoted 55 otherwise I wouldn't have made the appt. I had not been to a massage envy in a very long time, greater than 6 mos. Asked to speak to a manager and was told that a manager was not there. I will have to try to get someone this week. Never do business here! I had a year membership. Shame on me for signing up. But I asked to be cancelled way in advance. 6 months. They lost my cancellation form. I confirmed at my April appointment that they would notbe charging my credit card after May 21. They did. Still do. Wont issue a refund unless I can prove who I talked to. She was extremely informative (as again this was his first visit) and focused on areas he was having issues with. She gave some recommendations. Unbelievable... I went in and tried to buy 2 gift cards for 55$. The holiday promo clearly states "buy 100$ in gift cards and receive a 25$ promo card" the manager refused to give me the promo card because she insisted it had to be 100$ on one card.even though she acknowledged the ad on the front of the store said otherwise. Very, very disappointed. I went in for a relaxing day and I left annoyed and uncomfortable. I should have walked out when I met the receptionist. She was rude and had no hospitality training. She made me feel bad that I was "only" 5 minutes early for my session, and rushed me through the - VERY IMPORTANT - medical history. I'm allergic to grapefruit and that could have been horrible if I hadn't said something directly to the therapist. I went back to the restroom - I had to use the men's, because there's only one ladies' room in the whole building - and then met my therapist, Beth. She was nice enough. I then spent the next two hours in a tiny, cramped room that was boiling hot being rubbed down with the greasiest oil ever. There was no pressure or consistency. I almost asked her to stop! When it was finally over, I looked up and realized she had shorted me by 15 minutes. I was then given a robe and a plastic cub of water, and I waited for the girl who was going to give me my facial. She was better - her name is Melody, and she was sweet and was actually better at massaging than Beth was. The facial was just mediocre. I could have done the same thing at home. One of the masks, a clay sulfur-based one, burned my face. At least she only shorted me five minutes. I ended up paying over two hundred dollars for three hours of discomfort. The receptionist tried to sell me their "membership" plan, which sounded ridiculous, and some facial products. I will never be going back, and I will be contacting the company for a refund. I was able to visit this location while on a business trip to Houston. I used the Massage Envy app and although I could not book online I was able to call and get directions from my hotel quickly. This location is one of the recent locations open and had more of a modern and airy feel to the design. The staff was super friendly and gave me a tour of the spa. The facial rooms are beautiful and the massage rooms are very warm and cozy. I would highly recommend. read more

Next available FRIDAY EVENING. was told I can use it at other locations. NO ONE EVEN PICKS UP THE PHONE! What good is a membership you can't even use? The whole purpose of scheduling the appointments when I did was to get me ready to run my games. I ended up doing 5 games without the first massage and will run 3 more before I'm able to get back in. My Husband and I were members of this location starting back in DEC. 2014. Due to our schedules, we were not able to use the PREPAID credits in a timely manner. We decided to cancel our membership. The front desk advised that when we cancel our membership for the following month we have an additional 30 days to use our PREPAID credits. (This was because we had another payment that was coming out of our account) The front desk did not tell us that our account was considered cancelled a few days after we signed the paperwork and the clock started on the 30 days at the moment when the information was entered into Massage Envy's database. When I called to schedule to use our remaining credits, I was told that my membership was already canceled a few days earlier and could not use the PREPAID credits. I talked a few people about my experience and what I was advised by the front desk when completing the cancellation paperwork. I received a call back from a young lady that claimed to be a concerned manager. However, we talked and have yet to speak again. She NEVER called me back. I have given it a few weeks and since there is no concern or communication - I will NEVER recommend Massage Envy to ANYONE again. I am TRULY bothered that I paid for a service but cannot use it AT ALL. I did some research and found that Massage Envy was getting sued because people were not able to use their credits after cancellation when they PAID for it. The pressure of the massage was so weak a 5 year old could've honestly done better. All she did was but TONS of oil all over. The massages are ok but not great but stay away from the facials. I only go there on occasion because my husband will get me a gift card that includes a massage and facial. The last time I went the massage was decent but she didn't really work out the knots in my upper back. The facial was terrible. After filling out the questionnaire about myself she gave me the acne facial even though I don't have acne. Then when it was over she left a lot of product on my face and it dried up and was itchy and flakey. They try to push products on you and then when you check out they try to push a membership on you. Yesterday when I went, same thing...massage was decent but facial was not at all relaxing or really what I think I needed. The lady asked me a million questions, some of them more than once. She also wouldn't stop about my red skin. It's not even that red but you would have thought I looked like Santa clause or something. She also kept talking about how I need to use anti-aging because my neck is starting to age. I can take the advice but you dont need to say it more than once. Then she kept talking about her personal life and preaching to me. I felt annoyed and uncomfortable. And when I went to check out they told me I owed $10 even though my husband supposedly was sold a package on the gift card.
