They do dry pedicures, which means your feet are not soaking in water, which means your feet wont dry out and crack later on...I got a pedicure about 5 days ago and my feet are still baby-smooth, and soft. This place is super clean. Each customer receives new sterilized tools. They have many high end polishes, and Cindy will tell you all about the dangers of not using quality products on your nails. They really try to correct any nail problem you have, rather than cover it up. They are reservation only, but don't let that discourage you from making an appointment! I was a walk in here on a Friday around noon. I was surprised that the room wasn't full of women soaking their feet in the spa pedicure chairs. I was led to a recliner, asked if I wanted something to drink (including wine) and Jenny got started on my manicure and another lady on my pedicure. The salon is "water less" meaning they use warm, damp towels rather than you soaking. This seems to be more sterile as well as you can just lay there and don't have to move your feet in and out of water. Nail colors are organized and you pick them off a nail wheel and then they go get it off the rack. Mostly there was Opi and some other high end brands. My manicure from Friday still has no chips (on a Wednesday) and I have NEVER had that happen before. Normally my manicures are chipping by the next day, which is why I normally just get clear polish. I messed up a toe while drying and Jenny did not mind at all and fixed me up. These ladies really know what they are doing and they want to help your keep your nails healthy. The price was a little more than I am used to: $40 for pedicure and $25 for a manicure, but it is totally worth it, especially when it lasts so long, the environment is peaceful and the employees are so friendly and professional. read more

However, the staff is so friendly and accommodating; the facility is clean, hygienic, and pretty; there is a huge variety of regular and gel nail colors; this is a waterless salon; and....they serve wine!! From the very beginning of the experience, it felt like this salon was all about the customer. Wonderful experience! I loved the intimate atmosphere and the personality of the staff. Everyone that came in was a regular and they quickly made me feel just as comfortable. Complimentary coffee and wine served in real cups!! No plastic or styrofoam!! No....the actual manicure/pedicure...DIVINE! This was my first experience with dry nail services, and I loved it. This place is great! They do waterless pedicure which is more sanitary, and all of their equipment is sterilized. Customer service is awesome and as they are appointment only, you don't have to wait to be taken care of. They actually respect your appointment time, not like other places that overlap appointments. I did gel/shellac nails, pedicure and manicure includes massage, hot towels, and wax treatment. Is like a spa experience. Is a little more expensive than other places but is definitely worth it! Recliner chairs that make everyone feel at home, but one of the most important things for me is the hygiene technique they use. The salon is waterless nail spa, so no worries about issues with salon infections which is always a concern for many people. Incredible and amazing environment. Really great experience at Exclusive Nails. So to start off I have had acrylic nails forever. Maybe 25+ years. I was ready to make a change and stop ruining my nails and inhaling harsh chemicals. I called the salon and talked to Cindy about what I wanted to do and my concerns about making the change. She explained that they do not do acrylic or dipping at her salon and that she would show me how to make the change and without hurting my "real" nails and she would help me with any questions since I was so use to my acrylic nails. I made an appointment, they do appointment only, and I was so impressed with the service, with the cleanliness, sanitation and with the salon. They even keep the door locked so strangers just can't walk in. They have a doorbell and the door can be unlocked with the push of a button in the area where they are with clients. They are all about service and friendliness! Cindy removed my acrylic very carefully and then did a french gel manicure (shellac). The gel manicure comes with a comfy recliner, hot towels, lotion, and wax treatment! They also do waterless pedicures. I didn't do it today, but I plan to in the future. What an awesome hidden gem. Not from Houston and yelped this place. Reviews were great so had to try it out! Staff is professional and accommodating. Waterless pedi is brilliant and def worth the extra $$. They have me a discount for being my first time. Only thing I recommend is to make an appointment beforehand, I came in 20 min after they opened and they didn't have time for a shellac manicure. So I settled for a regular manicure. I was looking for someone to do silk wraps on my nails which seems to be a lost art. Thankfully Cindy answered the phone and was very knowledgeable about what I wanted. She even explained that I may not need the silk wraps and that she'd actually evaluate my nails and determine whether they were necessary, but of course she'd place them if I just really wanted them. She was booked up until the following week so I made an appointment for a Friday afternoon at 5. I arrived about 10 minutes early and the salon door was locked but someone came to let me in and verify I had an appointment. I sat in the waiting room for about 20 minutes, so my appointment was a little late but the whole time I was waiting Cindy and some of the other technicians came to check on me, apologize for the delay and offer me beverages. So it didn't really feel like I was waiting long. They aren't a typical salon in that they offer waterless services so each station is a recliner with a little side table for your beverage. It was amazing! They prop your feet up and I was so relaxed! I love the small salon, they really get to know their clients and can tailor their services to the individual. Her husband came by and she introduced him and he as well as her two sons spoke to the other clients which further indicates a family type atmosphere. LOVE this manicure-pedicure place! It's at the intersection of Louetta and Lakewood Forest, one light west of Jones Rd. Dry pedicure sounds odd yet is the best I have ever had. Manicure lasted 2 full weeks. No chips, no breaks. Pedicure lasted longer. It's worth the extra few dollars and there's no pressure or attempt to sell you hot rocks and extra stuff. I was disappointed with my experience here. As a first time customer they did not make me feel welcome or explain my choices to me. They warmly greeted their obvious regulars. If they want more regulars they should rethink how they treat first time guests. The service was just okay. I did not like the waterless pedicure they provide. It did not seem as relaxing or clean. It hurt when the lady was trimming skin by my toe, which may have been from her technique or because the skin didn't soften from soaking in water. They told me they had a matching polish color for my toes to match the gel polish I picked out for my fingernails, but in the end it did not match. It was lighter and a different hue. The atmosphere is noisy because the technicians tended to chat loudly with their customers rather then it being quiet and relaxing. And it's quite strange that they buzz people in at the door because it's locked. A good thing about the place is that it doesn't have a strong chemical smell. But I've been to high end natural nail salons in the Katy area and this place is not up to par with them. I am new to the area and looking for a nail salon to become a regular but I will not return here. read more

This is seriously the BEST nail salon I have ever been to! This is not a drop-in when you want style place. You need to make an appointment and believe me, it's worth the time and effort. There are NOT rows and rows of chairs and so-so technicians. The atmosphere here is amazing. The ladies that work there are sweet, talented and funny. They do amazing work. There are only five chairs in the salon and they are not those uncomfortable nail station chairs - nope, they work on your while you sit in a big comfy recliner. The recliners are so comfortable and once they start massing your feet - naptime! After you start going there they remember your name, what's going on in your life, the nail colors you like - it's like getting your nails done by some of your best girlfriends! Since there are only a few clients in there at a time, everyone can talk and chat easily (clients and technicians). The salon and the equipment is so clean. I can't say enough about Exclusive Nails. Over my experience of many salons, I must say this one is the best! The service was absolutely splendid. It was quite different when they were using non-water teqniques, but it was a lot more sanatized. It did require hot towels but they always asked to make sure I was comfortable with how hot it was. What I truly enjoyed the most was how productive they were. Right when they were done and had to wait for a certain amount of time, they went ahead and continued with the other client to save time and not just have ONE person working on you the whole time. Like they say, "Time is money!" When they were done with my manicure and pedicure, I barely had to wait for the nail polish to dry! Maybe for a little bit, but it was only for about 10 minutes. I really enjoyed how they allowed the clients to sit in the chair they are in for a little bit to take in all the relaxation before taking their leave. I have favored very much of their system. I acknowledged that every person had a specialty in every step as well. It was not like one person did it all for you. You got the best out of it all! What a wonderful salon. I was in Houston visiting for the weekend and wanted to get a pedicure someplace close to my hotel. I found exclusive nails right down the road. The reviews on Yelp were very good so I decided to give it a try. I am so pleased that I did. I called to make an appointment prior to arriving in Houston. The answering machine indicated they were busy and to please leave a message. I did get a call back while I was traveling. When I was able to return the call, I received the busy message again. I hung up and planned to call later when I received a call back right away just from having missed the call. I was impressed by that alone. The salon is comfortable and inviting. Big, wide comfortable leather recliners. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and they apologized to me for having to wait for 10 minutes. The pedicure was lovely, Linda was very nice and personable and did a great job and Cindy (the owner?) also lovely and personable. Even the customers were nice! Easy conversation and a comfortable relaxing atmosphere and the place is spotless. A little more expensive than the "run of the mill" salons, but worth every penny. I have no idea why this place has 5 stars? I went here based off of the Yelp rating and was severely disappointed. I called ahead of time and wanted a Shellac manicure and regular pedicure- they told me no problem. When I got there the door was locked and someone had to buzz me in, no problem. However once I told them I had a reservation for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure she looked in the computer and said whoever took the call wrote down a regular manicure. They told me they only had time for a regular pedicure to while I laughed because I thought they were joking. Here's why- I was literally the only customer there, after I realized the girl painting her nails I the chair worked there. How could they not upgrade to a shellac, it's more money to them. Another appointment came in while I was checking out but shouldn't suffice as to why they couldn't do it when I was the only person there with 5 other manicurist. Won't be returning. Overall bad experience and not customer service driven. read more
