This is a new spot 10 minutes from our home. I discovered it during a work event and had to bring my wife in this weekend to give it a try. Food is top-notch and made to order. A great fusion of cultures blending to make a beautiful feast be it breakfast, lunch or brunch. Our breakfast was flavorful and fresh. Our drinks were creative and tasty, but not too strong or sweet. This place lives up to its high rating on Yelp. We had the Eggs Benedict, Croissant French Toast, and savory pancake special. We also ordered the banana match latte and the Dubai chocolate latte. Everything was outstanding. The flavor was just right, and the presentation was beautiful. The Benedict was rich, but the salad cut through the guilt of the decadence. Whatever dressing they made was light and tasty. There were slices of pear in the salad which elevated the greens. I am not normally a sweet breakfast person, but OMG, I just loved the French toast. It was plated with a beautiful pansy garnishment. The fresh fruit, with the berry compote, the custard, and the fresh cream was a symphony of harmonic flavors and my poor husband almost didn't get to try any. My 5 year-old loved the pancake special. The bacon they used was thick and high quality. I don't really like sweet drinks, but the Dubai latte piqued my curiosity. I enjoyed it and it was presented beautifully. It was less sweet than a mocha latte from Starbucks and you could taste the chocolate from the pistachio from the coffee from the other flavors. I almost forgot to mention that we sat outside, which was also nice because the outdoor area has a railing and I didn't need to worry about my little guy escaping the table. The inside was cute too, but it's nice to be outside if the weather permits. I'm glad we stumbled upon this place after dropping off my sister in law at the Long Beach Airport. We are in love with their burrito. We don't eat meat so we sub the meat for avocado and mushroom. The pico de gallo and green sauce it comes with, pairs so well with the flavors. For only being open a month and a half, this family-run business is already something special. I'm not from Long Beach, but I'll make it a point to stop by every time I'm in town. You can truly taste the love they put into everything. I had the piña colada matcha - it was the perfect balance of freshness and sweetness. Tots were nice and crispy and the burrito was so well thought out (perfect ratio of meat, eggs, cheese etc). To eat we ordered the hot pepperoni pizza, the açaí bowl and the bulgogi ciabatta sandwich. Food was just ok. They use good ingredients, but the pizza was soggy, needed more time on the oven. I would not get the açaí bowl again, granola was too chewy and the açaí itself didn't have much flavor. The bulgogi sandwich was good. Came with and egg and arugula, so if you're not a fan of arugula you might not like it. I am going to go again to try other items as they do have a big selection.
