Every time we come here, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I love the lattes - great combo with my food. We get the chicken breakfast burrito and the chicken salad - they use rotisserie chicken and it's always delicious. We've also tried the omelette and Tuesday tamales - all so tasty! I'd give 5 stars except for the slow wifi. Sometimes it works well in the beginning but sure enough it becomes really slow.. maybe they set it up that way so that we don't overstay and hog up the tables. I wish that could be fixed because I'd come here more often to get my work done. read more

I was visiting the area and chose this place because of the 5 star reviews but I wasn't really impressed. It wasn't bad, just not a 5 star place or anything unique that I couldn't cook up in a few minutes. I ordered the turkey sandwich and I was expecting way more for what I paid. To put it lightly, I could've got the same chips and sandwich at a cafeteria for half the price. My friends all had the breakfast sandwiches and those were also just okay, nothing special. Maybe it would be deserving of 5 stars if the prices were more reasonable for the portion/quality of the food. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I met some South Bay friends this morning at La Terraza due to its central location among our friend group from Torrance, Hermosa, Manhattan, and RB. Our first time. I had the brioche fried egg sandwich and it was awesome. Definitely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The chipotle aioli was what made it so great. There is no finer latte in the South Bay. Dan, regular AM barista, is always on top of orders and has perfected our orders. Do not waste your time with Starbucks swill when you have La Terrazza right within walking distance. Best highlight: take their avocado toast to go and enjoy it on the beach, just 2 blocks away. I used to come here a lot!! I placed a phone order, timed it so I can pick up when I get there. When I arrived the order was incorrect. Fine, it's ok. No problem, I would think orders that are incorrect would be a priority!! Not here!! Waiting for 30min still. I informed the staff what happened, the individual looked at me as I told her my name. She looked at me repeating what happened, but did nothing! I watched the employee serve other orders not checking!! Still waiting after 30min on an order they messed up?? Love this place! My wife and I go so often that we now get the "Norm!" welcome treatment. The coffee drinks are made using La Colombe beans and they are delicious. The food is fresh and flavorful. Don't be in a rush for food though as everything is made to order. Enjoy the music inside or sit outside under one of the patio umbrellas and enjoy the scenery. read more

very cute place! waffles are excellent and the outdoor seating is small but intimate. street parking is a breeze too. the only downfall on this place is it's close proximity to the street and can be a little loud especially when you're outside trying to have a convo with people but this is something out of the business's control so i cant blame them. overall very good! i have gone several times hahaha read more

Just what South Redondo needed!! An amazing "locally owned" coffee shop! My family and I only live a couple of blocks from here and we've already visited for breakfast and lunch several times. The coffee/espresso's are high end and full of flavor. Unlike your typical corporate coffee shops, La Tarraza has a chef preparing meals! The breakfast menu includes French toast, fried egg sandwiches (my favorite is the brioche sandwich) and the BEST waffles, topped with fresh fruit! My lunch favorite is the Turkey sandwich. Again, high quality ingredients and tons of flavor. I don't know what kind of sauce they put on there, but it's got just the right amount of kick to it. Delicious!! I have yet to try the BLTA but I've heard it's the best! La Tarraza is perfectly located on the corner of PCH & Ave. D with an open patio for those looking to relax and enjoy some sunshine. Had the pleasure of visiting this location today. Maks the Store Manager is very friendly and will answer any questions regarding the menu. The coffee is delicious! I had the breakfast sandwich. The bacon was so good that I actually asked if there was a secret to how they cook it. Crispy but not greasy. You can park on PCH. There is a small outside patio. There are waffels, french toast, and a variety of sandwiches. I wish them the best in this new location. read more

Absolutely love this place! When I moved to Southern California, I was expecting to find these types of places everywhere...yet this is one of the few that live up to the hype. Awesome aesthetic, friendly beach vibe, excellent service, and amazing food. I had the Avocado Toast, a SoCal staple, and it did not disappoint. Cappuccino was so good, tamale plate is a steal. Came with small arugula salad and a fat tamale with the perfect ratio of chicken verde and masa. Love this new coffee spot in South Redondo which has a Latin vibe and coffee is really good. Had the tamales on their Tamale Tuesdays and it was excellent. Pollo with red sauce, the masa was soft and not too thick and melted perfectly with the meat. They have a nice outside area and plans are to make it into a nice patio. Came here after a nice surf sesh and will not be the last. Ate the turkey sandwich which comes with a sauce that has some kick and hit the spot! I'm a bit of a coffee snob but I really enjoyed the expresso. It tasted soo fresh, way better than Starbucks. Someone ordered the waffle next to me and looked tasty so that's what I'm trying next time. Overall it's a great little cafe that's clean, cool and a great place to kick back.
