I always love eating at Karachi Thai! Their pad Thai and spicy noodles (drunken noodles) are the best I have ever had

I've ordered this place twice on Uber Eats 15 min away & both times it has blown my mind. We've all had that sketchy experience ordering Thai/Asian food.. this is one you don't want to miss.. so far, I've had the Chicken Coconut curry (fire).. chow mein (fire).. fried rice & pot stickers (fire).. ORANGE CHICKEN (I'd give my life for it).. I've ordered them two nights in a row & at this point I'm willing to accept a job, be paid in orange chicken & possibly move-in.. read more

Love love love this place! Real recipes and amazing flavor. We come here at least a few times a month for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend this family restaurant. read more

We grabbed takeout from here last night, specifically the appetizer combo, the shrimp pad Thai at spice level 3 and the spicy noodles at spice level 4. It was hot (temperature-wise), full of flavor and the spice level was spot on! Staff were super friendly. We'll definitely be back! read more

I have tried Krachai 4 times in the past, and I've enjoyed their food. I give a 4 star because their Pad Thai is good but is not the best I've had. read more

The food wasn't good at all. At least not the pad Thai or spring rolls. And the springs rolls didn't cons either shy type of protein, all vegetables. Shrimp pad Thai had THREE pieces of shrimp. Disappointing. read more

The curry is delicious! The fried rice is as close to authentic fried sticky rice that you'll get! Everything was so so good. Going to keep ordering it until I try every type of curry! read more

There was one lady there that was really rude. I usually don't care about customer service but it was blatantly obvious she was rude to us and not other diners. I walked in after a couple walked in. She greeted the couple and was friendly to them. When I walked in and said for two she kept replying WHAT WHAT WHAT so I kept repeating for two. But the couple before she wasn't like that. She's the older looking waitress by the cashier with a bun & flower. When she came over and said ready to order we weren't ready yet so she made such a cold face and just walked away. She said goodbye to every diner except us and she asked how the food is doing for every diner except us. I'm not sure if this was racially driven but we were the only two Asian diners. I can't believe I was so kind to have tipped her 15-18% when she was that rude to us. Never going back there again. What an obvious rude lady. read more

The food was OK. I heard about this place and it was near my house so I thought I would try it. We ordered an appetizer with our dinner and all the food was served at the same time. My suggestion is do not order an appetizer until after you eat and only if you are still hungry. The service was also ok but nothing to write home about. I would not eat here again but am glad I tried it. Would have given two start but travel to Thailand and know of people who have been put in prison there for giving a bad review. read more

I came here for a second time and the food tasted so bland. I ate a lot Thai food in the valley and I gave it a second chance and still didn't appease me at all. I ordered BBQ Thai chicken, when it put on my table I knew I couldn't finish the dish. The chicken looks very dry and overly cooked, the chicken was bland and they didn't give any sauce to dip with it. So disappointed. read more

So so so good! I was a little scared to try a new place but it was so good we've been back two more times. I highly recommend! read more

Delicious. Had the pad thai with tofu. Husband had pannang curry. Spring rolls are good as well. Thank you to the kind girl in the front who helped. We will be back. Portions are big and price wasn't too bad. read more

So I ordered pick up from this place and everything went smoothly. I order the yellow curry in Thai hot and honestly it was okay. Taste wasn't horrible but it also wasn't the best. Definitely a 3/5 in flavor however process and overall experience 4/5. Would definitely order again but maybe try something else. read more

Delicious Thai food at a reasonable price. I ordered the combo platter appetizer to start. So good and a lot of food! Main dish was a yellow curry, medium. Also delicious with sizable chunks of chicken and potatoes. Be warned that medium spicy is pretty dang spicy though! read more

I am giving 3 stars because their food is really good. Unfortunately the last 4 times we went there they got our order horribly wrong. Almost like they just randomly gave us someone else's order. We have gone there numerous occasions with no issues but for some reason the last 4 times we have gone we get the wrong order or not quite our order... missing veggies, missing tofu, half full containers, random meat in our food. We are vegetarian so we always say we are & order tofu with extra vegetables. They charge you more for extra vegetables on the menu so we are ok with it. What I'm not ok with is being charged for extra vegetables & getting 1 sliced carrot!, or meat in my vegetarian meal, or just something I didn't even order. We would pick up food & take it to sun city to eat with the parents & every time I would end up without dinner because I got chicken curry or beef noodles or some other dead animal in my food. Calling them to fix it was useless because they would insist we got what we ordered (25 yrs as a vegetarian I'm pretty sure I would never order dead animals for dinner). Then they would ask you to bring it back...well I'm 45 minutes away so not an option. Refund the meal & go without dinner. 4 times in a row! Never going back! Checking your order there is impossible because you have to stir it around & poke at curry to see if there is a chunk of dead bird in your food. Not worth the hassle! read more

I had the Tom yum soup which was amazingly delicious. I recommend this spot to several people and they've also said it was awesome food. read more

We love Thai food it's our favorite. We try different Thai places around and sadly this one disappointed. We ordered the pad Thai with tofu and ask for light sauce. The noodles were terrible and it was soaked in sauce. There was barely any tofu and it was cooked poorly. The peanuts were very strange in the food, they didn't look like normal peanuts in pad Thai it looked more like a grainy chili peanut paste, it was just all not very good over all. read more

Amazing Thai food! Fast delivery and it was still hot! We will definitely order again!

Ordered here once before....was Good. Tonight, ordered #36, extremely dry. Also ordered a noodle dish that had chicken. Missing the chicken, only veggies. Disappointed tonight. read more

The food is fabulous and well cooked. The lettuce in the spring rolls was crispy & clean. Calamari was crispy and sauce was perfect! Place is clean & quiet. read more

Excellent food, our new favorite Thai restaurant. Super clean and comfortable. May is awesome!

I was hoping this would be a good Thai place based on some of the other reviews, but as someone who has tried most of the Thai restaurants in the Valley, I'm sorry to report that this place is at the bottom of my list of destinations, even when in north Phoenix (better to drive than settle). Now keep in mind, we have certain items we always order when we eat Thai, and Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup) is one of them. This place doesn't do it well. No galanga, no depth of flavor or complexity, and much, MUCH too sweet. I can't stress this enough. Are they adding sugar, or is it just that they use over-sweetened coconut milk? Not sure. But it's bad. A really big disappointment if you know what good Tom Kha Gai tastes like. They also do not have Angel Wings, which is a staple for one of my family members (they don't even know what they are!). Other issues / red flags: - The menu has Vietnamese and Chinese items on it. Do one thing, and do it well... or do fusion I guess. But don't try and specialize in three complex, disparate cuisines. Unless you have a VERY talented, world-traveled chef (or a team of chefs), that never works out well. - The gentleman who answered the phone when I called with my order does not understand even basic English. For example, he does not know what "hot" versus "mild" means. This is a big problem as you can imagine. - If you plan to eat there, beware. The temperature inside the restaurant on a lovely December evening was 80 degrees. You'll be sweating before you get to appetizers. A few notes to the positive: - Pricing is low - Panang Curry had a very good flavor read more

This place is pretty decent for the price. They get 4 starts because their service has always been great. Their pad Thai is a bit sweet sometimes but it's still yummy. They also have great rice and awesome lunch specials. read more

This place is AMAZING! I will drive from my house in tempe to get good thia food! And this place rocks. My girlfriend turned me on to this place for the first time eating this kinda food. It's amazing and I'm hooked! read more

I ordered from grub hub and got the wonton soup because I have a cold. It hit the spot and I felt satisfied because when you're sick nothing sounds good but warm yummy broth! I ordered other things for mom. The orange chicken was good, not greasy or too sweet. I was disappointed in the pineapple friend rice because there were big chunks like out of a can and not a lot of veg. But the shrimp in it was huge and tasty. Yellow curry, so-so but it might have been due to my taste buds that it was too sweet. I'd order again just to give it another try, especially the soups! read more

I frequently order from this restaurant for delivery but for some reason the instructions are never followed or the spice level. I personally love to have my thai food very spicy (a 4 or 5 on their scale) and every time there is almost no spice, I have to add tons of sambal. The panang curry has nice flavor and the veggies are fresh and crisp. The thom kha is not my favorite, it's very watery and too many tomatoes and not enough mushrooms. The vegetables aren't very fresh either. The pad thai is usually pretty tasty though! read more

We wanted delivery wasn't sure what, this place popped up. Oh my gosh it is fantastic!! Fast delivery, hot, quality is excellent... we loved it will be ordering again. read more

Best Thai food!! The Jasmine Crab rice was exceptional. Total comfort food. Perfectly spiced, lot of crab flavor. The fried wontons and crab puffs were equally yummy. We also got the Tom Yum soup and beef chow mein. Everything was exceptional, even the broccoli in the chow mein was perfectly cooked. And Grubhub delivered it piping hot and the order was perfect. It's my go to Thai place. Love the yellow curry, actually all curries I've tried are good.

Great pad Thai, I love the spice level 4 here so much good flavor and just enough bite. I don't think that there is a better Thai restaurant around the area. Also love their fresh spring rolls, such great flavor wrapped up into a little and delicious roll. read more

The food is outstanding. We get takeout a couple times a month. Best in Phoenix. No doubt.

Tried having dinner there. Walked in to a restaurant with many open tables. When finally greeted by a host we were told the food was going to "take very long" in a tone that made it seem like just being there was a huge inconvenience to them. Will never go back. Sucks because I heard the food was good. read more
