I talked to the staff and she said I can come back and order a "5" for more heat. So that's something to keep in mind if you wanna have a lot of heat! The prices and portions were very fair! The restaurant itself is cute, and they have a nice selection of food. The lunch menu was a little confusing when it came time to order, so I ended up getting the veggie noodles (not on lunch). My wife and I recently tried Siamese Kitchen. The chicken spring rolls were some of the best that we have had. We each had a noodle entre. Mine had pork and hers had shrimp. Both were excellent! I should have given a 5 star review then, but didn't. Today, a Saturday, we decided to try it again. The website and posted store hours state that they open at noon. We arrived at 12:10 at not a soul was there. No movement, no lights, no nothing, just a locked door. Punctuality is a pet peeve of mine. One of the best Thai spots in all of Phoenix. This place is a must-find hole in the wall. Tucked into a shopping plaza close to a bar and an O'Reilly's, you'll find this hidden gem that serves amazing Thai food. The hostess, April, took my order promptly and showed excellent customer service. She was telling me about the restaurant and that her aunt is still the only cook - 20+ years later! The place is quiet and not busy most of the time, there's a lot of to-go happening. The food came out hot, looked great and was also very flavorful. Portions vs price point is absolutely phenomenal. April, the owner's niece already knows who we are just by our order over the phone, and it always feels welcoming when I order. The place is quiet but very very busy as far as takeout goes, and it blows my mind that perfection is mastered by one lady working alone in her kitchen. And the food is phenomenal, ranking amongst the best Thai food I've had in the Valley. I always get the Spicy Squid. The sauce is heavenly, a little sweet, a lot spicy. My husband gets the Pad-Prig Khing chicken and the level of flavor is beyond epic. This place is small and a gem. It's located in a small run down strip mall. Don't be fooled by the location. The food is the best! The place is neat and tidy. It was busy on a Thursday night. The service is excellent. I phoned in an order and was told they had several orders ahead of me...and they will call me when my order is ready. How nice to know my meal is going to be that fresh! I was 20 plus minutes away so that didn't bother me. When I arrived, I sat in my car for a minute and got the phone call. My red curry was the best! It was smooth and tasty, not runny and not too spicy. Plenty of veggies in it too...and a ample side of rice. I will be returning to eat here every time I'm in the valley. Total bill for egg rolls (2), pad see ew, sweet and sour chicken, and pineapple fried rice was $45 before tip so not too expensive, I would say. Overall, dishes were flavorful but on the sweeter end as you could taste the flavoring after the meal ended and after drinking water to wash away extra flavor. For price and quality of AZ thai food, rating would be 4/5. They opened at 5pm, we arrived close to opening time and ordered shortly after. First appetizer of deep fried egg rolls arrived 35 min later and first dishes started coming in 45 min later. For length of food delivery, rating is 3/5. I imagine if a restaurant opens at 5pm, staff comes in earlier to prep the kitchen but it didn't seem like this was the case. read more

It closed at 8 and due to traffic we got there about 7:20ish. The lady who greeted us said they close at 8. First though they were not going to let us eat or kick us out right at 8, but she sat us. She was very polite and took our orders. The food was fantastic. We ordered thai curry's, pad see ew , pineapple rice and some thai tea's. We finished just after 8 and we met the cook who is also the owner. She has been there for over 20 + years. We started talking about how she makes the food and what I ingredients/brands she uses. My roommate needed a night out so we came here since I was also craving thai. They had great reviews and it seemed pretty cheap, so obviously I had to give them a try. The restaurant doesn't look like much from outside and it doesn't look like much when you go in either. It's not a fancy place for sure. My roommate was a little concerned since we were the only ones there. I still had faith. My roomie started with the spring rolls, which was basically egg rolls, and I ordered a thai ice tea. To me, spring rolls are not deep fried but are sticky rice paper. Had I ordered this, I would have been really disappointed. I didn't try the egg roll but from what I could see inside it, it probably wouldn't have been something I would have liked anyways. I saw mostly glass noodles and what I would assume was cabbage. If you have read any of my past reviews, we know how I feel about this. The thai ice tea was really good. I would guess based on how it came out and past experience it's from a bottle and probably not house made. Still good though. For my entree, I order the pad thai. I was really happy about the fact that they have the pad thai here come with both shrimp and chicken and for a really cheap price. I asked for my dish to be hot and probably should have asked for it to be thai hot, which was the hottest option she gave me. Hot wasn't hot at all for me. I would say it had a little kick but when I eat thai food, I like it to be really hot. There was a lot of food and a more than reasonable amount of meat. The shrimp and chicken was cooked perfectly. This was honestly the best tasting pad thai I've ever had. I plan on going back in the next week or two to get more pad thai. My roommate ordered a curry dish and he said he loved it. Ordered pad Thai and drunken Thai noodles along with some spring rolls and boy they definitely delivered. Definitely a hole in the wall with one waitress. She was very sweet!! Only thing I'd recommend them is better tasting water and ice as it would make a big difference on their iced teas. The food is very fresh. We went early and we were their first customers so that might have played a part in that. The wait was long but the food was certainly fresh and very hot ! My husband and I both got the yellow curry, he liked it a lot but for me it was WAY too sweet. We also got the spring rolls and they were very good ! Our waitress was nice and sassy in a friendly way. She asked my husband if he wanted spice and practically raised an eyebrow at me asking for level three spice because I'm pale (we're both mexican). Speaking of spice, level three was not spicy at all. If you enjoy spice then don't even bother with three just go straight to five, and if you can't handle spice very well but still want a kick then three is perfect. I have a couple of favorite Thai restaurants that I don't usually stray from, but my brother was raving about how good the Pad Thai at this joint was. He WAS NOT wrong. This Pad Thai was a little bit saucier than your average and that's a good thing because the sauce is amazing. Not too sweet, sour, or salty and you can tell it was cooked on super high heat in a wok cause you can taste that smoky flavor. The portion was generous and with extra chicken it was still roughly $10-11!! The papaya salad was decent.
