We were in town for spring training and didn't feel like going out so we ordered delivery from Bangkok Thai and the food was delicious. Thai Chicken is moist with nice slight char to give you that depth of flavors. Can easily share this. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist inside, served with a great orangish red sauce. Earlier today I placed a pretty significant order. We had vegetable egg rolls, potstickers, chicken satay, chicken larb salad, pad Thai, spicy fried rice, lad na, Thai fried rice, mango sticky rice, and Thai iced tea. I ordered the way I did on purpose. These are my go to Thai dishes. The staples. I wanted to taste everything I consider my personal favorites so I could really gauge the restaurant across the board. The vegetable egg rolls and chicken satay were good. Solid. The potstickers were good. The chicken larb was actually good, maybe a little too much sugar, it tasted slightly sweet, but still one of the stronger dishes. Mango sticky rice was enjoyable. The Thai iced tea, flavor was on point. That's actually my first indicator when I try a Thai restaurant. The only thing that would've made it better is crushed ice. Real Thai spots usually use crushed ice. It melts perfectly and dilutes the sweetness just right. When you use block ice, the tea stays too sweet longer. Crushed ice gives it that smooth balance. Small detail, but that's how I gauge authenticity. Now to the honest part. The pad Thai was mediocre. It was lacking. I've definitely had better and I wouldn't recommend that dish. The spicy fried rice was okay, nothing special. The lad na gravy was way too thick, and instead of using Chinese broccoli, they used regular American broccoli. That's usually my second give when I rate a Thai restaurant. Traditional lad na uses Chinese broccoli. That swap changes the texture and the authenticity of the dish. They also didn't have the typical sauce that usually complements lad na, which I found strange for a Thai restaurant. The Thai fried rice was decent. Overall, I'm giving this place four stars. Here's my why. First, they didn't have common condiments that are pretty standard at most Thai restaurants. That threw me off. Second, the service. They weren't rude at all. Everyone was friendly. But the attentiveness just wasn't there, especially considering we placed a large order and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Third, the flavor and authenticity details. It just didn't hit the way traditional Thai food usually does. I've eaten Thai food all my life, especially in Thai Town in California and throughout Orange County, and the flavor profile here wasn't on that level. If someone asked me if I would return, probably not. But don't let my review stop you. Be your own judge. My goal isn't to hurt the business. It's feedback. Tighten up the service, dial in the flavor, stick closer to traditional ingredients, and it could easily level up to five stars for my taste. And yes, expectations vary. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, so I may be grading on a different curve. One more tip, if you're a party of six or more, double check your receipt. Gratuity was already included in ours and I didn't realize until I got back to where I was staying since I'm out of town. I had to call and have the extra tip removed. The food is delicious and I always enjoy it. The issue is when you use their website to order delivery. First off, you must select a future delivery time that is at least 35 minutes in the future. If your place your order at 5:05 the next available delivery window is 6:00. You CANNOT just select as soon as possible. Then they use a service called 'Beyond Menu' for order processing and delivery that finally shows up half an hour after your selected delivery window which is already an hour after you placed the order. The ice cream is melted and the egg rolls are cold. Like I said, the food is terrific, but the website and order experience suck. read more

Then to top it off, once we ordered our food and started with spring rolls end up finding a long hair wrapped in it. It was beyond disgusting, but when we reported it we got a very nonchalant "sorry, want a fresh batch??" More like cancel my whole order. I felt bad but they were so dismissive about it that we just didn't feel comfortable eating anything else there. I had to still wait forever to ask to be charged for the drinks we didn't even drink. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I am obsessed with Thai food and for many years I have been coming here mostly on girl days spent with my mom and sister. But I have visited countless other times with other family, putting friends on and with my foodie husband. There isn't a dish that isn't good. The servers here have always been so sweet and awesome throughout the years. You can tell it's important that they show you a good experience. We had the best dinner here Saturday night! This was our first time eating here and it was great! The food was amazing, fresh, flavorful, beautiful presentation. The service was courteous, friendly, attentive and speedy. The atmosphere was fun and great ambiance and decor. We really had a wonderful time and we could not have been more pleased with everything there. We will for sure be back to enjoy dinner again and sharing this place with family and friends. I tried out their stir fried bamboo, pad see ew, and Thai tea. I wish I asked for no ice since a majority of the drink was just ice cubes. The overall meal cost $31.64. There's four levels spicy but if spice is not your thing, you don't need to add it. I tried out medium and it was the right level of spice for me. This place is quite underrated. I have never had Thai Fried Rice until this spot, I've since tried it at a few other places and it wasn't the same. I literally crave this rice quite often, it is comfort food for me now. I will say, I do ask them to remove the tomato and onion because it's a lot of chunks and I just want to tasty rice and chicken. The Silver Noodles and Pad Si-Ew are also very delicious! My husband enjoys the Panang Curry; as Thai Curries go (which are not necessarily my fav, I'm more of an Indian Curry lover) this one is quite enjoyable. I usually DoorDash so I haven't eaten inside the restaurant but the few times I have ordered for pick up, it was chaos - tables un-bussed, and the ambiance was definitely lacking. Last time my husband went in for pick up he asked if they had an order ready for Luci (the name I use for orders etc because Siobhan is complicated for most) they said it wasn't ready. He asked about the bag of food on the counter and was told, no that's not for Luci. 15 mins later, my husband inquired again and the bag that had been sitting there ready the entire time was in fact for Luci. My bf wanted me to join him on an errand and found this place nearby bcuz I love Thai food... will run errands for food!! Located in a strip mall this place looks pretty boring from the outside .. but the food and the spacious interior space did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated right away.. lengthy menu so we started with egg rolls so we could decide on entrees .. curry, pad Thai, papaya salad, soup, dumplings, fried shrimp .. chicken, beef, pork, shrimp .. spicy or burn your mouth hot.. so hard to decide I went with the pineapple curry with chicken (new flavor combo for me!).. heat 3 on a 1-5 scale was perfect .. served with fluffy jasmine rice.. it was delicious, coconut, chunks of veggies, chicken & pineapple.. The bf decided on the spicy fried rice with pork because he loves fried rice .. heat 3 out of five also .. this was also delicious.. full of carrot rings (not mushy) and sliced pork .. Even though we were full we decided to split a dessert and omg the fried bananas with coconut ice cream with the caramel drizzle was amazing ... warm bananas with cold ice cream .. perfect ending or beginning to any meal. We both enjoyed our lunch today. I got the spicy level 4 catfish lunch special that comes with soup and an egg roll. My friend got the red curry level 2 with chicken lunch special. The food is fairly authentic and delicious. Unfortunately the service is often very poor. I've eaten here many times, but the last time got up and left ( after offering to pay) when I asked for some prik nam pla for my food (like asking for ketchup for your fries) and the server disappeared for 10 min and forgot it. My food was cold by the time she finally came back out of the kitchen ( without it). The excuse was that they were busy. There were 2 other tables occupied- one of which had to go up seeking their additional to go order. Sad because it's one of the few places that offers Boat Noodle soup. read more

Last minute decision to go and try this place for dinner with the family. The server is nice and attentive. The restaurant itself in terms of the physical setup is your typical Asian family owned restaurant. Nothing to write home about. The tables we're at is a bit sticky though. Maybe only wiped with a towel but not actually cleaned? Who knows. Now the food...well it's a mixed bag. The egg rolls is great. It's crispy and feels freshly made and not frozen. The spring rolls on the otherhand is a bit disappointing. Almost 90% of the filling inside is lettuce. Might as well call it a lettuce roll. The peanut sauce that should come with them lacks the peanut flavor that should be pungent. Their drunken noodles are pretty good, and the red cury is on point. However, the green curry lacks flavor and a bit blend. The spicy basil stir fry didn't have basil in it. So why call it "spicy basil" when you have no basil in it? Maybe the chef forgot to add the basil? Who knows. We enjoyed the meal as a family time. But in terms of the good it's a mixed experience. Some great, some not so great. I found this place through food delivery service but the food is some of the best Thai in Phoenix. I really enjoy the pad Thai and the sweet chili basil. The location itself is in an obscure strip mall with nothing nearby that would drive foot traffic. I moved so they are not in delivery range but have driven to go eat there because it is so good. I would compare the pad Thai to the dish I ate while in Thailand. The service is a little slow if you sit in the restaurant but the food is worth it. read more

I opted to grab take out and was able to order via Yelp/GrubHub quite easily~ Plus points for me being able to click things and not have to awkwardly mumble my order over the phone. My order stated that it would be ready in roughly 30 min and it was ready to go when I swung by. Yay! I really really wanted some noodles so I went for the spicy noodles with tofu and wow they did not disappoint. The spice level was a perfect 3/5 and the noodles themselves were super tasty. I couldn't put the dish down once I started eating it and ate what was a 2 person portion all on my own. My friend, who ordered with me, got a cashew chicken dish with rice and stated that it was pretty good as well. The noodles, however, were the true star of the night. We did grab some golden tofu - aka fried tofu - to share between the two of us and though the tofu was good, it was way too high priced with at $6.99. The portion of 7-8 tofu pieces definitely did not make me feel like I was getting my money's worth. Overall, a solid place to grab some takeout! (or get some delivery). This is a good quick take out place for lunch. We called ahead of time and our order was ready in 15 minutes. Their deal with their lunch items comes with a side of rice and one veggie spring roll. We ordered Pad See Ew, Red Curry, and Yellow Curry. Pad See Ew wasn't anything special, I've definitely had better Thai places around the area. The Yellow Curry was disappointing that the potato was undercooked and very hard. The flavor on the both Curry were great and just the right amount of spice. I would go here again to give it another try but might request without the potatoes next time if I order the yellow curry again.
