Truly one of the BEST Thai Resturants we have been to. The Best Massaman Curry we have had. Met our nephew there after he got out of work. Our second time here and the service and food are impeccable and the atmosphere is Awesome! We all enjoyed our food and conversation. They also have a rewards program through - TOAST Really a fun time and can't wait to come back again. Thank you once again Jai Thai

I ordered curbside, so I can't speak to the inside ambiance. However the service was to notch, and the food (Chicken Satay, Dumplings, and Massaman Curry with Chicken) was super tasty. This place is close so I will for sure be back.

We've come back for dinner and a late lunch twice in the past two weeks. We were just craving some good Thai from this place. The service is as pleasant as ever, and the sitting area is large and clean with plenty of booths and tables to choose from. On our first trip in, we ordered to-go food for Hubs, to take home for his dinner. Our server, who I believe is also the owner, took down the order accurately and made sure to start the order 15 minutes before we were going to leave, and had to go order ready right when we were paying our bill. That is some excellent timing.

I wandered here on Christmas Day. Thought I'd try a new place for Thai food. Not sure why since I'm a Thai food snob but I'm looking for another good Thai Restaurant worthy enough to bring my mom. So far there's only been one and sadly due to COVID it had to close down. I'm still sad about it. Anyway, I drove over from Avondale to give this place a try and it's good. Not bring my Thai mom good or drive out of my way again but if I was in the area and wanted Thai food I'd pop back in. It's bigger than it looks from the outside, bright ambiance and clean. The server that greeted me and took my order was really nice and friendly. I ordered the grilled pork with sticky rice and did not like the pork flavor at all. The marinade was not for me. I enjoyed the sticky rice though. I got the beef salad and it was good. I got medium spicy and didn't really taste any spice. The salad was good a little sweet though but I forgot to say no sugar. I think had I done that and it was spicier I would've liked it better. I always choose medium spicy because you never know how spicy it will be. Each restaurant's spice level is different. Sometimes the medium is like a hot and the hot like Thai hot. The drunken noodles were delicious but it was a little oily and lacking in the use of Thai basil and it could be spicier but I chose medium spicy again and didn't find it spicy at all. So if you like spicy try hot or Thai hot. The medium spicy seemed mild to me. Overall it was good and if you're in the area it's worth a try. I'm Thai and grew up on homemade Thai food and can make Thai food so I'm a little more critical when it comes to Thai food.

Plenty of self parking in the strip mall lot. Cute, colorfully decorated restaurant, plenty of room , clean, tables available. Prompt service, friendly staff. Wine, beer, and beverages available. Food was good, made with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the pad Thai with tofu. Other diners in our party enjoyed spicy eggplant stir fry, orange chicken. All selections were good! Prices reasonable. A nice dining experience!

    Yellow curry and papaya salad

Dined in with my children and good friend. Service was excellent, our server was very kind and attentive. She checked on us often and made sure everything was going well for us. Food was delicious and fulfilling! Papaya salad was very refreshing and each bite had a good crunch, we requested Thai hot. It was definitely spicy and flavorful. They provided a good amount of salad too. Pad Thai was seasoned to perfection, truly authentic. We ordered a shrimp and tofu pad Thai and it had a generous amount of shrimp and tofu! The noodles were cooked to perfection, not sticky and mushy. It soaked up all the wonderful sauce and maintained its texture . Sauce to noodle ratio was on point. Bean sprouts were crunchy and fresh. Chicken wings with the tamarind chili sauce was bursting with flavors , chicken wings were very crispy. Yellow curry was rich and savory, potatoes cooked just right. Both pad Thai and chicken curry were medium heat and I loved it but my friend admitted it was spicier than medium. The server warned us before hand, great customer service. Tom Kha was very good. No complaints at all with their dishes. I recommend this place. The only negative experience I have to share would be the fact they put so much ice on the iced Thai tea and the cup is a standard 8-10oz water goblet glass cup with a short stem. They put soooo sooo much ice that you're probably only drinking 4oz max. When I asked if they always put that much ice , the server said yes and said sorry. I've been to several Thai restaurants in the valley ; west, central and east valley . All of them serve their Thai tea in a larger glass cup with a good amount of Thai tea . So I will point out that $6 iced Thai tea is a total waste of money; not worth it. You're better off going to sumo snow or a boba shop that serves more Thai tea and less ice. For dessert we had mango sticky rice. It was okay. Definitely had way better mango sticky rice. The coconut sauce had a tad too much salt. I can understand the rice having a little bit of salt and sweet but not the coconut cream sauce . They could've added more sauce because the rice soaked up the sauce by the time we received it . Sticky rice was really delicious and had a great texture. But the regular sticky rice you can order with your meal could have been steamed longer or more water added. It wasn't as sticky like how sticky rice should be served, my kid ate it with the Tom Kha. The restaurant is very spacious but the colors of the seats and booths are not the prettiest . Too yellow, very bright and it felt like going into a children's play place because of the bright yellow booths and choice of lighting. But the food makes up for the interesting colors. Fish aquarium is so pretty, makes the place look nicer.

A bright and cheerful interior welcomes you to Jai Thai. I wasn't expecting such a large place. I was seated at a window booth. There were only two other tables on a Saturday lunchtime. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't get lunch but had to order off the regular menu. I chose the Panang curry with chicken. I wanted to try something different! Typically I don't go for many curries because they're overly sweet, and unfortunately, this was the case this time. I ordered medium spice level, but it was only subtly-spiced. This curry came in a large bowl (served with a small side of jasmine rice - again, a very small serving for the dinner menu!) and had the consistency of broth, which I wasn't expecting. The chicken was cut very thinly and was dry and chewy. I slurped through and ate the chicken though because I was so hungry. I'm spoiled because I've learned the wonders of velveting proteins when stir frying and so I was disappointed that the chicken was so tough. I may return during the week when they offer lunch specials. Based on other reviews, people certainly have their favorites that bring them in here. I think it's a welcome addition to this area and I wonder if they saw more traffic their consistency might improve. If you like Thai food, I encourage you to come and try them out - you might find a favorite dish that will keep bringing you back!

Beware: The "boba" is more like grass-jelly than the round balls. And at $9.50, its sometime we'll not order again here. However, I think their pad-see-ew is fantastic! The chicken in it was so tender and moist. And at a lunch deal price point of $13.99, it's affordable. The soup that came with was noticable salty, but the egg roll was nice and crispy. 90% of the dining rooms were empty at 1pm on a Friday, which is a travesty. This place deserves more business. I was impressed with everything at this location. From the outside, I didn't even realize it was going to be this big and so well decorated, so I was astonished. There's plenty of room to host at least 70-100 customers, plus a separate section if you want to host your own party or a seminar. As usual, I tried my go-to Drunken Noodles to judge the place, and it was definitely worth it. The staff lady was very nice and answered all my questions. Would definitely come back here again.

Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

UPDATE 2026…read more Bluewater is our new favorite seafood restaurant. We went last Wednesday for HH and the bartenders are a fantastic team. They run a very professional bar. The service we received from them was next level. The kitchen did a great job too. I got the fish and chips with walleye. It was flaky goodness paired with crisp and salty fries. I washed it down with a couple smoked old fashoineds. We left with a satisfied smile.

The Spanish octopus was alright. The clam chowder was flavorful and not too salty; definitely made it into the top three clam chowders I've had in the state so far. For our main entrees we ordered the New England lobster roll and the gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops. The lobster roll was flavorful but felt like it was missing something. The gemelli pasta tasted a bit bland for my taste buds, but the family member I went with really enjoyed it. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered a crème brulee to share. The crème brulee was nice and not overly sweet. Overall, service was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with nautical décor throughout which gives off a comfortable and relaxing vibe.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood.
