Excellent service. This is the best Chinese food in the Phoenix Metro area, not by a little by far.

Favorite Chinese food place ever. I went here lots when I lived in Peoria. I moved across the country 4 years ago and I've tried lots of different places in my new area, and have not been able to find any other place that does Hong Kong noodles nearly as good as Wok Fire does (if at all). Actually ordered the Mongolian beef and it had good flavor and I was surprised it had quite a lot of beef in the dish. Nice I would actually go back and order this one again. Found this restaurant while I was in the area so decided to check it out. It's a hole in the wall place in a strip mall. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. I ordered their beef lo mein and was not impressed with the taste nor the size of the dish. Wife had their Szechwan beef and was not impressed either. Not what I was expecting. It's a very small restaurant with about 8 tables that seat mostly 2 people, with a few seating up to 4 people. It's definitely a no frills eat and go type of place. You order at the counter and the food is brought out when ready. We went around noon and there was one other customer dining in. I ordered their Szechuan beef lunch special which comes with soup or egg roll. I chose sweet and sour soup. The soup was ok, did not have much flavor so I added a ton of hot oil which helped. I thought the portion size of my lunch was on the smaller side but for $8.55 hard to complain and the vegetables were very fresh. Hubby ordered beef Lo Mein $11.55. I thought his portion size was small too. He said the beef tasted too soft which I had to agree. Service was fine. I think this restaurant would benefit from a makeover. read more

Got sweet and sour pork to go. A surprise when I got home. One carton of battered and fried pork pieces. Another container of watery red sauce which must be the sweet and sour sauce but it didnt taste that way so not sure what it was. Certainly no vinegary taste which is the sour but not overly sweet either. There were no vegetables to mix in to the sweet and sour dish. No onions, carrots, bell pepper or pineapple. So the idea I guess is that at home you mix the red sauce with the fried pork and that's it. If they think that is how the dish should be prepared they ought to warn you on their website that no vegetables are included. That is certainly not the conventional way to prepare the dish. read more

We're in the area and craving Chinese food, made a quick stop and so glad we did! The cashier was so kind and patient while we looked over their large menu. They have everything! Super authentic. There was a large family in there 10-12 people and they were comfortable, although it's a small family owned spot it was really accommodating. We were not a fan of the crab puffs they were really sweet which caught us off guard. But our meals were delicious! I don't even like pepper and the black pepper chicken was so so good! This place had a high rating on a delivery app so I tried it. I ordered sweet and chicken that didn't look anything like the picture. No peppers, pineapple or onion and was tempura soggy fried. The fried rice was greasy with a lot of onions. read more

This was disgusting. I'm really not hard to please but this was awful. Hubby ordered Kung pao and it had zero flavor or should I say awful flavor. I ordered General Tso but it came with a long black hair. They offered a refund of order something else. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. I couldn't eat it. So bland. Not close to the house but met relatives nearby and they had heard good things about this place, in fact even the reviews are pretty good wow bad luck for us I suppose. Called in a to go order and was told 10 to 15 minutes. Not a problem got there 20 minutes later and the woman at the register was very nice, they didn't ask for a name for the order when I called which seemed odd and upon entering thank god we didn't eat there, definitely a hole in the wall (but they have the best food sometimes right?) has been my experience at least so I still had hope. No ambiance what so ever, no one there, one table still had dirty dishes on it and next to the soda fridge another tub filled with dirty dishes, employees were sitting around when I came in you'd think they would take care of clearing tables before anything. 5 minutes after my longest pickup estimate it became obvious that they were only half finished with our order or less , as I saw things quickly get tossed in the fryer and could hear frantic cooking. 10 minutes after we showed up our order was ready. The "chicken fire" rice their version of fried rice had a sauce on it yet no taste so It just sort of made it mushy, the chicken had absolutely no seasoning or taste just bland. Shrimp with vegetables ...the vegetables were good and the shrimp were plump but again no taste. Sweet and sour chicken good pieces of chicken but again not a lot of taste, probably the highlight aside from the broccoli. I finally added hot mustard so I could taste something! Very bland very basic and kind of a dirty establishment that day from what I saw. Maybe it was a bad day but I won't be back! read more

We were able to place an order ahead online for pick-up at a specific time. The orange chicken is delish! The chow mein was disappointing. Not the noodles we were expecting. The string beans were great! I also enjoyed the egg rolls and spring rolls. I was let down by the hot and sour soup- definitely not what we were all used to. They do have searing available inside and lots of parking right out front. The staff working were very friendly when we came to pick up our order. The food is always good and the service is excellent. The Moo Shu and Combination Fried Rice are two of our favorites.

We've eaten here twice so far and the food is delicious and you get a decent portion. Their menu has A LOT of options. We will only order from here moving forward. Even better, we ordered delivery and I'm pretty the delivery person was an employee. The food came quick and it was hot. I found this place on Yelp it was close to our location at the time and we all agreed to give a try. We ordered 1 orange chicken with white rice, 1 orange chicken with Choi m 1 chicken fried rice 1 order of spring rolls and Pepper steak with white rice. The bill came to $60.00. We didn't eat in the restaurant and I'm really glad we didn't. The restaurant and it's entirely needed to be scrubbed down. The bathroom was not clean either. It was too funny because the baby changing station from DQ in the Women's restroom. If the bathroom needs to be clean imagine what the kitchen looks like. I love this mom and pop restaurant. all the folks that have waited on me there have been courteous, friendly and very humble. The food is fantastic. I just had the shrimp with lobster sauce for the first time. I usually get something spicier but right now I have stomach issues so I got the shrimp with lobster sauce and it was just excellent lots of plump shrimp and in a light white sauce I guess that's what you refer to it because some places use a brown sauce or a black bean sauce I prefer the way wokfire does it. read more
